Great design but expensive!
The design of the Mouse sandpaper is fantastic. Each sheet
comes with 2 spare "tips." As the pointy tip of the sandpaper sheet on the mouse wears away much quicker than the body (because you use it to get into detailed areas), you can just replace the tip. This makes each sheet of sandpaper last much much longer.

That's good news because the sheets are expensive! Talk about giving away the razor and selling the blades! The unti comes with 20 sheets of paper, which is nearly $[money] worth! Each sheet is over a $[money]!!!! Given that full sheets of sandpaper cost that much, it's pretty precious.

Of course, you could become good at cutting out your own sheets. The mouse is great, but the company better get better at selling cheaper paper.

Black & Decker Bullet Bit: a straignt shooter!
After a friend loaned us our first Bullet Bit, and our technician drilled the first of 300 holes on a production job, we became believers. The pilot point hits the mark every time while the coarse flutes and flattened spurs actually "cut" (instead of bore) into the steel. We were looking for a drill bit that would eliminate jagged burrs on the back side of the work piece. This unique tool starts on contact, cuts quickly and cleanly, and produces a perfect hole on both sides of the work piece. We examined the pilot point, flutes, and spurs after 300 holes. Good Bits for a Lot of Jobs
I use these bits to drill out dowel holes and other holes in hard and soft woods. They are very accurate and seem to be pretty tough. Black & Decker also created a convenient case to store them in -- a simple idea that goes a long way when you have to cart all the bits around with you. The case closes up tightly so no dust gets in, it's easy to open when you need bits, and it's organized so you can easily see each of the sizes. Black & Decker also did a good job covering the important sizes, going from 1/16" to 1/2".

However, if you need to plunge into metal, you will probably want to get a different set. I have tried to use these bits for metal drilling, and I had a hell of a time keeping them straight to get started. Other than that, for regular, hobbyist drilling work, these are fine bits.

This bullet has your name on it
I usually turn my nose up at anything that says Black and Decker. I'm a tool snob , I want the best that money can buy. Usually you have to look past B&D for the best. Not so in this case. Bullet bits are very unique. They penetrate very fast. They also are quite durable. If you lose them or they break, you're not out much. They really are an incredible value. You have to spend a lot more jack to buy significantly better bits than these. (cobalt etc.) One thing you will appreciate is the index case . It keeps them so well organized. Much better than those soft plastic cases we are all used to. Of course , it's not as easy to slip in your tool pouch , but hey, if you're like me , you probably had too much weight in it any way. I will buy these bits again and again unless some one comes out with something better in this price range.

Really good bits, but still need a spare set
I really like the bullet tipped bits, they don't walk, and they drill great, but they don't enlarge holes, since the bullet point won't center in a pre-existing hole, and they don't drill angled well into hard materials (the bullet edge will break off). They are great drills, and I don't regret buying them, but you still need a cheap set of regular point drills for enlarging and angled drilling, etc. Overall an excellent product though, I've never drilled with better for regular holes.

(Almost) All the Drill Bits You'll Ever Need
This set of bits really allowed me to optimize the use of my drill. I get the feeling that the 21 piece selection would be inadequate for true pros; but for novices like me, it pretty much covers what you'll need for most jobs without the cost associated with larger sets. A Good Try
Black and Decker's "Bullet" line of drill bits are a great idea and they work well for light duty drilling, but their flaw is that they are conventional black oxide, high speed steel bits. They cannot be resharpened due to their tips so if they break, they can only be turned into regular 118 or 135 degree split points, and that requires a Drill Doctor. The DeWalt "Pilot Point" series uses the same physical design but are made of gold ferrous oxide which makes them many times more durable than the Black & Decker series.

I purchased a set of these drills because the design concept seemed like a good idea. Your regular drill bits don't seem to stay in place when trying to drill the hole where you want it to go.So I tried the Black and Decker bullet drills. They did not walk around when drilling that was the only good thing. The problem I had was that they burned up so quickly. Soon I was out of sharp drills.I was very disapointed and will not buy these drills again. What a scud!!

Amen chorus
Amen to all those who report that the case is a complete joke. It is literally impossible to put the bits in and take them out. Unless and until the case is redesigned, stear clear of this piece of junk.

Pieces are hard to snap in and out of carrying case
The bits and drivers in this set performed just fine once they were out of the carrying case and in my drill. Getting them out of the case was a bit tricky, though, and putting them back in the case... well, most of my bits are either in the case's storage compartment or lost! I just couldn't get them snapped back into the carrying case. What a pain.

Bent out of shape
I was always frustrated at not only losing bits and drivers during a job, but as most handymen would know, spending a lot of time changing from a drill bit to a driver and back again during the job. It was either buy another drill or find a bit set like this - it also had a quick change fitting which would solve all my problems. The first time I used it I had to find a screwdriver to pry the bits out of the case - they were wedged in so tightly! Then I found out the bits were all - yes all - bent, it was impossible to drill holes or drive screws without screwing up the job [sorry about that]. The next thing to do was to return the kit. At the tool store we opened another few kits and found the same problems....get your act together B&D... these are not packets of Twisties! ... Read more
