ALL PRO TOOLS - beats pricing on Bosch
While waiting for a special sale on Bosch Tools in Tool Crib, I was re-directed to All pro-Tools. It appears that they are beating your price of $399.99 down to 349.21.

Also, I bought the Plung Router for $229., they have it for 219. same same.

What can you do about this.

NO boundarys ,NO equal,BRUTE TOUGH.
I got this kit about a week ago.I am satisfied.The drill has 475 foot pounds of torque(the most in its class),2 speeds,15 clutch setings,A 1/2"racheting chuck,uni body powertrain,steel reinforced collar,dura-shield exterior housing and,plenty of POWER.It will take a 1/2"masonry bit through 21/2"of concrete in less than 2 minutes.I can put a 3"holesaw on and drill through a 1"piece of red oak in a snap.If you push to hard it will stall,but eventually you'll learn how much pressure you can put on it.It handles wood and metal with no problem. The saw has plenty of torque and power.It cuts 2x4's 4x4's in just seconds. It will even cut dense hard maple with out stopping.I chose this kit over others because it ofered more features ,and so I wouldn't have to buy an electric drill and saw as well.I would recommend Bosch over the others any day.From what my experience and other reviews have told me ,Bosch lives up to their name. ... good set to own if you are in the construction business
I bought this set about 3 months ago. great set. It is nice to have a jig saw for those quick jobs. The planer works good for also quick jobs. if you hang doors this planer is quick for a few planes, especially if you have the porter cable battery router you can hang doors with out pulling out a elec cord. over all I like this set. ... Must have Drill
I would never go to a jobsite without this drill. It handles so many different tasks with ease. It is now indispensable. Need to retrofit bolts, this drill does it. Need to drill a lot of holes in mudsill, it is handled. Just be careful, because if the bit catches something, you can get hurt. 8 amps is a lot of power.

Excellent drill
I bought this drill for masonery only, and it has worked flawlessly. It has plenty of power for the homeowner, and you could take it to most construction sites. I dropped it once from about five feet, and aside from a few scratches you would never know. This is a good drill at a good price.

Just Plain Bad
This drill was my first hammer drill....P>I had it for about 2 years, maybe used it for 2 dozen times in that span. I used it to drill holes in bricks and concrete as well as to mix concrete. From start, the levers for switching speed and mode (drill vs. Hammer) was very hard to negotiate.

Started noticing power decrease when I started mixing 2 lbs. of concrete mix in a 5 gallon bucket. Saw sparks internally to drill when I tried drilling 8 holes into concrete foundation. Finally went bezek on me the other day while drilling 1/2" bit into brick. Drill got stuck in on mode, had to pull cord to shut off power.

Do yourself a favor, save yourself some money. Stay away from this drill. It's just plain bad. ... Read more

Powerhouse
A very well built tool.Just what we expected from Bosch. I have quite a few years on mine with no trouble whatsoever. If you need this kind of cutting capacity , you can't go wrong with this unit. I recommend a wet/dry diamond blade for it if you will be cutting concrete. Otherwise you won't have a consistent depth of cut. what a mistake
I'm a die-hard Bosch fan, have almost every tool they make. I was so disapointed in this saw. Two issues, first the case, It arived damaged, the plastic case it comes in is very thin plastic and the tools orbital switch fatigued then finally broke thought the lid. I thought it was a fluke. They re-shipped, newer one same thing!! the orbital switch had been rubbing the case since it left the factory. The saw itself had several cosmetic blemishes, someone somewhere (QC maybe) had noticed them and circled them with a grease pencil, but decided to ship out anyway!! Also saw speed selector is the thinnest of plastic and can be moved way past the housing of the handle. The blade holder dosnt completely clear the body of the saw on the out stroke so blade change is a bit awkward and finally the varible speed kicks in only after you pull the trigger in all the way, THEN release it slowly to a desired speed - not slow from the start!!?? Whats up with that? Both saws same problems. Oh yeah did I mention it weighs about what a concrete block does. I love Bosch but steer clear of this one. I bought a Milwaukee orbital and its golden. detachable cord, the METAL case hold the tool with the blade on, its made in the USA and its cheaper!! I just wish it was blue!

Wouldn't stand up to what I had to do
Before I bought my Milwaukee, I tried this one. The first one had a faulty foot adjusting mechanism. The second one broke where the blade fits into the chuck.
I'm tearing down an old house, so the tools I use get a workout, but my Milwaukee hasn't failed,and I've used it ten times more than I did both Bosches.

If you don't buy the Milwaukee , buy this
My favorite saws are the Milwaukee super sawzalls with orbital action. This saw runs a very close second . It has enough power for any job you throw at it. What I like even better is that it has a very effective counter balance. Some saws that are counter balanced have more vibration than other saws that don't. Not so with this big tool. It is very well engineered as we would expect from Bosch. The Only thing I like better on the Milwaukee is that it's physically smaller and it feels a little tighter. It cuts a tad faster. For me it was the logical choice. For you it may be different. In any case this saw cuts circles around all other competitors including the PC tiger saws and the new Hitachi swing blade saw. This saw has been rated #1 and #2 in several magazine reviews.

Bosch is awesome
I have been using this tool for two years and I have to say that I love it. It has more than enough power for metal and wood cutting as well as heavy demolition work. The blade clamp is easy to use although I have broken two of them in the time I have owned it, and have replaced it with the regular allen wrench clamp with no problems since.
