Mi mejor compra en herramientas eléctricas
Compré este modelo después de tirar a la basura una pulidora china de características similares (una vil copia)... la he trabajado durante horas y me canso de trabajarla pero no se calienta ni la caja de engranes ni el cuerpo de la pulidora, tiene un nivel aceptable de ruido y un peso muy ligero para cualquier tipo de trabajo... es el tipo de herramienta que cualquier aficionado o profesional quisieramos tener...

Bosch 4 1/2 inch angle grinder
Just spent the afternoon grinding rust off the truck. Using the Bosch angle grinder made the job a joy. Light, compact, powerful. Easy to use in all positions and in hard to reach areas. From now on my 2 Milwaukee body grinders will go on sale. They are too clumsy and heavy AND DANGEROUS. With the Bosch sparks are controlled by a shield. Just the right size to grab by the body one-handed or by using the extra handle 2 hands can be used. I heard about German engineering but this is the first time that I enjoyed it. A GREAT TOOL.

Fine Machinery
I got this little gem earlier this year to replace an old Craftsman antique that still "works." I didn't get a chance to use it 'til last week making some cabinet doors. It's like the difference between driving an old used car (it gets you there) and a new BMW (it also gets you there, but the experience is rather different). I am impressed with the 1618 and its oodles of power and smoothness. I specifically wanted a D handle and am glad I specified this particular unit. I recommend it.

Excellent Router
This is a quality built router. I've used it for many different applications. One nice feature is that the base edge (all 360 degrees) is dimensionally constant in relation to the bit. This produces accurate work when you use a fence or a "clamp & tool" guide. Of all the routers I have used, this one ranks among the top in quality. It has plenty of power unless you are using shaper sized router bits. Then you may opt for a larger model. The microfine depth adjustment is another great feature along with the resettable indicator ring. I would buy this router again and have no complaints.

SMOOTH!!
This is the best router this size I have ever owned. In my shop I use lots of routers for specific jobs ans have tried lots of brands. This 1 3/4 HP router is hands down the best I have used. It's quiet, smooth, and very easy to control thanks to the D-handle design. It produces extra smooth cuts in all woods with many different types of router bits. As I said, I have tried many different brands (Porter-Cable, Dewalt, Ryobi, Craftsman) with only the Porter Cable 690 even coming close in terms of quality. It costs a little more than a PC but, as in most things, you get what you pay for.

Bosch D-handle router
This is my fourth router and so far, it is the best of the lot. The d-handle significantly enhances control of the machine, particularly during edge treatments. I expect it will be a great help with dovetails too, when I get around to doing some drawers in a couple of months. The Bosch router is very quiet for a router; much quieter than my Sears, Makita 3612B plunge router, or Dewalt. The fit and finish on it is great. I have nothing bad to say....even the collet works easily. The Bosch fellows have hit a home run; remember though that the Porter-Cable folks still have a lock on after-market add-ons for their equipment if you are so inclined. ... Read more

Bosch 1194VSR
I bought the 6 Amp1194VSR about two years ago to replace my old, heavily used 4.8 Amp 1181VSR hammerdrill which I owned for about nine years. I use the 1194VSR extensively to drill small diameter 1/4" and 3/8" holes in concrete and mortar for conical masonry anchors used to mount conduit straps and metal electrical boxes. In hammer-mode it performs better and faster than my Bosch 3/4" rotary hammer for this type of work, giving a smooth, clean hole with very little run out so anchors fit more snuggly and hold more securely than with holes made with the rotary hammers SDS bits. This is true even with the close-tolerance SDS bits that I use for Tapcon fasteners. The ergonomic handle design of this drill really does help keep your hand from going numb when doing this type of work all day. You and everyone else working around you will definitely want to wear ear protection though, because in "high speed" with hammer mode the screaming sound is most deafening, especially in enclosed areas.
With continuous use, the Bosch's non-metallic motor housing/gear case will get almost as hot as the metal gear case on my Makita HP2010N hammerdrill. This also occurred with my old Bosch 1181VSR and did eventually result in the motor field winding burning out on the old drill. Bosch repaired it free under warranty but I would assume that from the feel of things, with heavy use the same problem could occur with this newer Bosch. Because of the heat factor, I limit my use of this drill to small diameter holes of 5/8" or less in concrete, hole saws of 2" or less in wood and HSS bits 3/8" or less in metal, where it performs exceptionally well. Even with this self-imposed reduction in capacity, I would certainly purchase this hammerdrill again myself and also would have no problem recommending it to other individuals who need to drill holes for small diameter masonry anchors all day. It really is comfortable and light enough to use all day without generating a great deal of undue fatigue. From a safety standpoint, I especially like the fully insulated non-metallic construction. If Bosch could only make some improvement as to eliminate the motors heat problem, this would be, overall, one of the better 3/4" hammerdrills around.

Drill overheats
I have read somewhere else (I don't remember where) that this drill overheats. I did not really trusted that review since I had great considereation for bosch (I still do). I went ahead and bought the drill. I have used the drill to make 3 inches long holes thru concrete in percussion mode. However, at each 1/2 inch interval, I would stop (1-2 minutes) to cool down the expensive masonry bit. I would only drill 3-4 holes in a day. In the third day of drilling, the drill overheated and stop functioning. I am assuming that the excessive heat has melted the protective cover on the copper windings, resulting in an internal short circuit. I will take it back to the store where I bought it. Best Drill I Ever Had
After around 10 years of rough use, I was ready to find a new drill to replace my Makita 9.6v cordless. I wanted something with more power but did not have a "wagon load" of batteries. I chose this Bosch 12v model because of the good reviews and had heard about the Bosch quality. The specs indicated it had excellent torque for the power. Let me tell you the reviews are correct and after six months of use this drill is fantastic. I have dropped numerous times from a ladder (onto concrete) and it always amazes me that it still works perfect. The power is superb. I can drive 4" screws into deck no problem. The batteries last a very long time. Why do you need a 18v monster when this 12v has plenty of power? I still haven't figured that one out yet. The grip is comfortable. Recharge is pretty quick. Comes with two batteries. The drill sounds and performs very precision. Everything seems right-on with no slop in the gears or drive. I love this drill! I recommend to anyone.

Another great Tool from Bosch
I am a remodeling contractor and use cordless drills all day. I have used all varieties and owned most. Without exception my Bosch's (I now have four) have outperformed and most importantly outlasted the rest. I bought my first 12volt four years ago, and it is still going strong. Comfortable and well balanced, excellent keyless chuck, and batteries that go for ever. I would highly recommend one to anyone needing a professional grade tool. Just hold it next to those yellow paper weights, the difference is visible.

Blue is better than yellow!
As a furniture and cabinet maker, I have had the oportunity to use a variety of cordless drills, with the majority in our shop being of the yellow variety, to save from naming names. The Bosch drill out-lasts and out-performs any others I have used. This 12 volt model delivers more power than the other guys' 12 volts, and continues to do so over time. I've had to replace both batteries on a 2 year old yellow drill, while the Bosch is still going strong on it's original batteries. I think this is pretty good considering it became my go to drill for all situations and got much more use than any others.
