Not the answer to corner clamping needs
Frankly this clamp is not up to the quality one expects from bessey. Sure it is built like a tank. It does create a pretty good 90% angle joint, the problem I have is that it really doesn't work at all in a lot of cases. I found better solutions with strap clamps and k-body clamps in sets for cabinetry. I think I have used this clamp less than a dozen times in the past two years. Anyone want one slightly used -- cheap.

A great clamp for projects/mending.
I found this clamp to be akward with loose pieces, but its the perfect tool for mending picture frames that need repair. Its biggest advantage is that it ensures that you will keep a true 90 degree angle after you've clamped your work...no need for additional measuring.

These are nice clamps for a medium-heavy duty clamp
These heavy duty models from Bessey are a lot beefier than the picture shows. Definitely a strong clamp. I bought a couple to hold things down on the drill press, and for general purpose work. The clamping mechanism works well without any hassles. Easy to adjust, lot's of pressure, and looks substantial. Highly recommended.

Bessy bar clamps puts the strangle hold on the competition
By far, Bessy clamps beats the competition. You cannot buy a better clamp of this type (or any type for that matter) than a Bessy. The design allows positive, firm pressure to be placed on the working surface. The oversized wooden handles allow just the right amount of torque to be used without busting your knuckles. The only drawback to this clamp is the tendency for the free arm to slide down the bar when using it inverted. BUILT LIKE A TANK
When i picked up this clamp for the first time i just could not believe the weight and qualty it had.Acme threads,big handle that you can actually grab on to ete.This is German quality in its finest hour when it comes to woodworking tools.I have since bought over 50 various Bessey clamps in the last year.Thanks !
