Won't work for T handle or small drills
although the construction is impecable the holster really needs a leg belt to stay stable, also the pouch will not work well with t handle drills like a milwaukee, or small drills like 7.2 volt B&D. works greak with dewalt, but thats it as far as i can tell, better off buying the hook...

Perfect complement to the Bucket Boss tool belt
I recently reviewed the Bucket Boss Builder's Rig, and was overwhelmed with the versatility and comfort of their tool belt. The Drill Holster is a natural addition to the tool belt, and easily slips on the belt in place of (or in addition to) any of the pockets on the belt.

This holster fits my Porter Cable 14.4 drill with NO problems, and the balance is darn near perfect. Kudos to Bucket Boss for providing a bit of padding on the inside of the pocket as well.

Bucket Boss Holster 1st
I like everthing about this item. I was especially pleased with the small pockets, how convenient to have your bits and some screws at your side. I do, however, wish this holster had a leg strap. It tends to roll backward somewhat. But, would I buy another one, you bet I would. Thanks, Dennis Odom

A great tool belt accessory
Lightweight and effective. Works very well with drills up to 14.4 volts. Larger drills do not balanced well. If you use your drill on a regular basis, you will like having this holster.

The best holster you can buy
I agree , this is better than any other available holsters. It does protect your leg. Thats in itself makes it superior. In addition you get extra storage in the side pockets. Kind of like having a mini bucket boss right there in front of your tool bags. It's still not secure enough for me though. I hate when my drills take a dive. They get dropped enough as it is. Who has the patience to strap a drill in every time they use it? I've been on a lot of jobs and have seen hundreds of drills in holsters. I've seen about two that were actually strapped in.The only holder I trust completely is the Prazi Big Lugg. It is far superior for keeping your drill stuck to your side. Just drop it in and you're good to go. Bend over, lay down , jump , It doesn't matter. It's still there. Impossible with a holster. So I have mixed feeling about this product. It is the best in it's class. But I think that class is losing favor with the Big lugg on the market. ... Read more

This thing is great!
Just got my Cable Bag last night and I was really worried it was going to be too small for my giant, 25 foot long jumper cables but they fit perfectly!

Bigger than you think!
I have two 35' 10/3 cords with giant plugs on each end. These are extension cords that I made to remotely charge my Electric Vehicle at 220V and 30A. These are big, fat cords. I purchased two of these bags thinking that I'd need one each for the two cords. Wrong. Both of my cords (70' total, plus four giant plugs) all fit in one bag easily.

The construction of these couldn't be better. The zipper is huge and rugged (and goes both ways). The most important part is that the zipper goes about 80% of the way around the bag, so loading the bag couldn't be simpler. The bag opens completely like a clam-shell - you set the cord on the bottom half, and flip the top half back over and zip it around. I thought [the money]was a lot to spend on a bag like this, but I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I'd much rather buy something of quality that I don't have to worry about a few years down the road.

I looked at both the smaller bag and this one and for the money I would purchase the larger size. The smaller one is quite a bit smaller and most people would be dissapointed.

This bag did just what I needed - cleaned up my trunk. I had cables, fix-a-flat, screwdrivers and everything else rolling around in my car and stashed where I could fit them (but still couldn't be found when needed). Bucket Boss Contractor's Portfolio
This portfolio is not recommended for normal use, let alone contractor use. The pockets inside are too tight to carry pens and such in the pockets available. Additionally, the entire case is pretty flimsy and is a pain to carry.

wrong year
I ordered the portfolio for my brother as a gift in the year of 2002 and the calendar inside was for the year 2000. He loves the gift, but I have no idea where to get a calendar for him for the right year. Something I should not have to worry about when making a purchase.
