Constructed of durable, rip-proof fabric, the new 56-pocket organizer from Bucket Boss improves on what was already a great idea. Unlike the toolboxes of old, the Bucket Boss organizer stores tools where they're visible and easy to access. And, with 38 exterior pockets and 18 more on the inside, the Bucket Boss really does have a place for just about everything. We've loaded ours down with wrenches, handsaws, screwdrivers, hammers, pry bars, pencils, utility knives, pliers, and drill bit sets. There's even a padded pocket for your cordless drill. We quickly discovered, however, that depending on how you load it, the Bucket Boss can get a little top-heavy. After ours tipped over in the back of our truck, we reloaded it with our hammerheads down, and it hasn't tipped since. We recommend the Bucket Boss 56 for remodelers, carpenters, electricians, repair people, or any other professional who brings a lot of hand tools to the job; it also makes the perfect tool kit for do-it-yourselfers moving through the house from room to room and project to project. --Jon Groebner ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome
I purchased this item for my husband and he couldn't have been more pleased. The deep pockets held all his tools securely with room to spare. He said it is the best tool organizer he ever had. Then he tossed his toolbox. :) I have since bought several of these for different male birthdays, all with the same results. Excellent!! Note: Bucket Boss is extremely sturdy. The canvas and seams are very well put together. You can load this up with no worries.

5-0 out of 5 stars It's not a top number in the Amazon Sales rank for nothing
At first I bought this as a novelty. Not realizing that it was to change the way I organize my workspace. Normally I rely on peg boards in my shop to house the usual screw drivers, hammer, and frequently used tools. The problem with that is that they don't usually get put away, unless I do a complete shop clean up. Which is why I have to go looking for them. My number one pet peeve is looking for stuff. Not only is is wasted time, but it interrupts my work flow. Now I use the Bucket Boss 56 Organizer to house all of my most frequently used tools, and I bring my tools to the work. I also went to Sears and bought an INEXPENSIVE red metal Utility Cart that has four substantial wheels in a shopping cart configuration (two fixed, two universal) and they all lock, with a tray shelf at the bottom, and one at the top. I put the Bucket Boss in the bottom tray, which only takes up part of the lower tray space. In it, is everything imaginable, and after using it for awhile, I know right where it is. The best way to get the work flow going, is to be able to grab what you need, when you need it, and it is there every time, and have a place to rest it, or immediately put it away. With this combination, I roll the tools over to the work area, and I have an upper shelf to set things on during the project. It wouldn't be possible without the bucket boss.
With mechanics tools, we use a multi-drawer tool box. Since everything is hidden, it takes some time to learn exactly where everything is. With the Bucket Boss, you have a reminder, everytime you glance at it.
My only complaint is that their are so many pockets I can't justify buying another one. :-) That's how much I like this thing.
Knowing that I can simply lift the bucket boss out of the bottom tray using the handle that comes with the bucket, and take it with me no matter where I go, gives me the mobility, and organizational system I use in the shop and on the go! One system, one set of tools, for all locations. The cart is so light, I wouldn't hesitate to take it along as well.
By the way the Bucket Boss does not come with the bucket, but considering the cost of a 5 gallon white plastic bucket at [the store], that is not a major item. I know it would probably cost more to ship the bucket than it would to buy one locally. So it makes sense.
For on the job, it makes a very good impression. It looks organized. Combine this with one of their parts organizers, and you will not only, not have to go looking for your tools, that washer, locknut, screw, bolt, or anything else you want, will be at your fingertips as well. No having to run back out to the truck everytime I need a bolt, or nut, or screw, etc.
I can tell you it is made out of great material that will last for a long long time, or that the pockets are multi-sized and shaped to fit near anything you may use, but what I really want to tell you is that this thing is engineered. Engineered to simplicity. That makes it one of the most frequently used pieces of equipment. It is great because it works. Not just because it is very inexpensive, for all of the utility, you will get out of it, but because it works, and works well. Get into the Boss and watch your productivity zoom!

5-0 out of 5 stars who gets custody if we divorce???
I love this tool organizer!!! I bought it for my husband for Christmas because I thought it looked cool. He didn't seem interested in it, so I took it and began using it for my own tools (we each keep our own set), and then he fell in love with it too! I was continually having to go find my tools because he had swiped them, bucket and all. So I went to Home Depot and bought him a bucket organizer they had in stock, different brand. A week later he's whining about how he likes mine better, so since I bought it for him in the first place, I switched with him and now he has the good one. I think I need to order a second one because he's right -- the other brand is not as good as this one. Damn good thing I love him so much, but if we split, I want custody!! This is a great product.

5-0 out of 5 stars Surreal!
It is simply mind boggling how useful and efficient this item turned out to be. It holds all but the longest handtools (2 foot plus levels, etc)with easy access. Of course, nothing is perfect, so here are my suggestions for future improvements: deeper bellows on a couple of the lower tier pockets and a shallow series of slots for mini screwdrivers (smaller screws seem to be the latest trend). This could be done by replacing the elastic strap at the upper edge with a looped belt of the same basic material as the Bucket Boss

5-0 out of 5 stars Sweet product...
Hey, this IS a great product just like most ALL of the other reviewers have indicated and regarding the idiot "A home improvement enthusiast from Eugene, Oregon" and her "Where's the bucket?" remarks... Come on are you a total F---ing moron or what!? ... Read more

A simple idea becomes a great product. Fill up four of these babies with your fasteners, hardware, fittings, whatever, and you’ve got everything you need right at hand without fumbling through bags or fooling around with flimsy cardboard boxes. The compartments are generous, the plastic is rugged, and all you need is a five-gallon bucket for complete portability. If you’ve used the original Bucket Stackers, you’ll love these, because they’re toting 44% more capacity than the yellow version. Some nifty little extras include built-in drill-bit sizers, pencil holders and measuring rule. Sure, they were made with contractors in mind, but we think they’ll find their way into your house, too, for crafter’s supplies and household thingamajigs.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Lots of screws
Great set of stackers!! Compartments are big enough to hold a 1# box of drywall screws. I use one for nails, one for screws, and one for electrical fittings.. Haven't found a use for the 4th one yet.. I had a chance to check out the smaller ones (Yellow) (when they were sent to me by mistake) and I HIGHLY recommend going with the larger ones (Red).. I'd rather have a stacker only filled 3/4 full of screws than to have a smaller one overflowing.. Just waiting for Bucket Boss to make a Stacker Lock that secures to a stepladder tray so you can't inadvertantly knock it off the ladder..

5-0 out of 5 stars Let's talk increased productivity.
When I'm on a job, I can need 15 different types of nails and screws-easy. I used to keep them in the lumberyard bags stashed in a 5 gallon bucket. Now let see where is that bag with the 3d finish nails? I know it's in here somewhere. Right, usually the last bag I'd look in. I bought two sets of the stackers-one for screws and one for nails, and those unproductive search minutes have become a thing of the past. My only complaint is sometimes a lower stackers will come out with the upper one and then fall off, spilling its contents. Aw, quit your belly achin'.

5-0 out of 5 stars Bigger helper
I love these things. They work so well with the standard sized stackers that I think they should be mandatory for contractors. One or two of these things in the bottom of each bucket, with a standard size or two on top, makes a great combo for holding those larger sized, fasteners, or that larger quantity you want to carry. I use these stackers to hold what I want to carry from the bucket to my location, or just to tote around from place to place on the site. They're stable, strong, and work great. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Multipurpose!
I bought 2 of the bucket boss organizers for Father's Day gifts. I was very pleased with the quality of the material and space in the pockets: the only problem was the description of the item does not tell you that the 5 gallon bucket is not included....but the gifts were a big Father uses it for plumbing tools and Father-in-law uses it on his boat for crabbing/fishing essentials!

5-0 out of 5 stars One of those "I wish I had thought of that"
I own an aquarium maintenance company and this thing works like a champ.

I can carry all my nets, scrubbers, air tubing, filter sponges, flourescent light starters, etc... in the bucket and still put a little water in the bottom to transport the fish!

Not your typical usage, I admit, but the item is well made and functional for just about any use.

5-0 out of 5 stars What took me so long?!
I can't believe I waited so long to get this Bucket Boss! Rose gardening is ever so much easier with all my tools in one place, easily transportable from bush to bush. I added the seat to the top, so now my back doesn't bother me so much....and I can stay in the garden longer! There is a convenient-sized pocket for virtually any size tool, and the pockets inside provide great protection for related items that I don't want "soiled" while I'm working. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Bucket Boss is da bomb!
If you don't have a bucket organizer you don't know what you're missing. Whether you have a counter full of cleaning supplies or garden tools a bucket organizer will save you time and keep at least one of your hands free for important things like your cell phone. :P

Bucket Boss is a quality item, and the perfect gift for your unorganized friends and relatives.

4-0 out of 5 stars Bucket Boss 35
As a finish carpenter and contractor I have used this bucket boss for 4 years and it has replaced the tool belt and half the trips to the truck. I am happy to find the 35 pocket ... as I was not able to find it at the big box and hardware stores.

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny
Finally, I don't have to go out to my garage and search thru drawers and cabinets trying to find the tool I need. This product is well thought out and should last the average homeowner many years. It's a great time saver to have your most used tools in one portable unit and carry it to the project your working on. Also bought the bucket, yeah maybe they should include one or say it needs to be purchased separately, but it's worth 5 bucks to not have to clean the gunk out of a used bucket.

Overall, count me as very satisfied with my purchase.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected
I bought this as a gift. For some reason (could it have been the picture of the product?) I thought I would receive it as it looked. I guess I thought the Bucket Boss came with its own bucket with the outside pockets. But it doesnt. You have to insert your own 5 gallon bucket. I was kind of disappointed..not what I expected. Maybe the description should read "Bcket not included?" LOL But then again, I dont buy tools all that often.

5-0 out of 5 stars Remodelers dream
I have remodeled houses for two years and have seven years of building in addition to that. I have owned my bucket boss 35 for six months now, and I wonder why I did not get one sooner. It has plenty of pockets. The pockets are large enough to accomodate all types of hand tools (unlike the pricier 56). All in all an excellent product and superb value. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Organization at its Best
No question now as to where that tool is hiding. It is in the tool bucket. The 27 pockets of the Bucket Boss Stacker Pockets allows you to put the smaller tools on the outside of bucket where they are easy to get at, and the larger tools on the inside where they can be easily accessed. Nothing is buried where it can't be seen or is "totally lost in the mess". There are enough pockets for everything, and enough room inside the five gallon bucket to allow everything to have it's proper place.

Get yourself organized, get your tools organized, get the Bucket Boss Pockets and Stacker system. It's in there.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Father's Day Gift
I wasn't sure exactly what I was ordering, but got it because it was on sale. Let me tell you, this thing is great. I got it for my kids to give to their Dad for Father's Day. This system is huge and I know I wouldn't see anymore tools lying around the house now. Two big thumbs up on this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Handy for organizing tools.
I found that whenever I was working on a project around the house, I would get a large bucket, and put all of my tools in it. I would then lug this disorganized mess of tools around and try and get the job done. This all changed when I got the bucket boss.

The Bucket Boss organizer keeps all of the smaller tools organized hanging on the outside of the bucket with room for the larger tools inside.

On the outsde there are compartments for a tape measure, pencils, screwdrivers, wrenches and some larger compartments for larger tools.

This is a handy way to keep your tools organized. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Brand Name and A Great Product

I own several Bucket Boss products. I have found the quality of the materials and construction to be top notch. I am a full-time handyman and as you can imagine, I put the items to the test.

I am using this item as my electrical/plumbing tool bucket. The numbers of pockets are ideal for the small repair jobs I do when it comes to electrical and plumbing. Since the number of pockets is low, compared with Bucket Boss' other holders, the pockets are larger and hold items bigger than a screwdriver or wrench. (ie; a pipe cutter, electrical tape)

The material is very durable and I expect to have this item for many years to come.

I hope you find as much pleasure with this product as I have.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for the "handyman"
When I use to work on projects around the house I would usually bring in my entire toolbox (which weighs a ton) plus carry by hand whatever other tools I thought I needed that weren't in the box (e.g. drill). That often meant making several trips from the garage. It was overkill and cluttered up my work area. Now that I have one of these, I just load it up with what I need and take to my project. It's easy to carry and everything is organized.

It appears to be well constructed and I assume that it will last for years. There are numerous pockets of various sizes that will hold almost any tool. Larger tools such as a drill or handsaw can go into the bucket.

You don't have to be a contractor to justify purchasing one of these. Even if you're just the household "handyman," the Bucket Boss will make your life a lot easier.

3-0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for...
Although it dosn't have all of the bells and whistles that it's more expensive relatives have, this bucket organizer is pretty good for less than $20. This was my first turn over from a tool box, and I've found that it's design makes it easy to access all your tools, as well as make sure they are all there when the jobs done... ... Read more

Bucket Boss's Crate Boss is loaded with pockets--13 interior and 28 exterior. Filled systematically, this tool organizer gives you storage and immediate see-it-grab-it access to a remarkable number of tools: hammers, wrenches, drivers, bits, staple gun, pry bar, etc. There's even a handy snap-in pocket for a cordless drill. Because the Crate Boss fits snugly over a standard milk crate (not included), it won't tip over in the back of your truck the way bucket organizers can. It also takes up less space. The tradeoff, however, is that you really can't carry two of these at once (without spilling) the way you can with bucket organizers. The Crate Boss doesn't seem quite as spacious as the Bucket Boss, but by the same token, its compactness means you're less likely to get sloppy and misplace a tool at the bottom of it. Whichever you decide to buy--Crate Boss or Bucket Boss--you'll have an organizer far more convenient than the toolbox of yesteryear. --Jon Groebner ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A great product
The Crate Boss is made of high quality materials like all the products from Bucket Boss/ Fiskars. Intelligent design features for utility and convienence.
The Crate Boss has 27 outside pockets and 13 interior pockets. It has the convenient cordless drill holder that the Bucket Boss has. Generally the pockets are BIGGER - a pocket for a 30' tape measure, flashlight. There are two large flapped and velcroed pockets you can use as nail pouch type compartments.

Some important points:
The Crate Boss fits a 13 X 13 "DAIRY QUALITY" Crate only. The Crate Boss DOES NOT FIT the flimsy plastic office filing system "milk cartons". You may have to do some searching for a correct "manly" milk crate.
The Crate Boss has a "Full Bottom" to keep things from falling out through the crate. This a REALLY nice feature!

There are some positive and negative points when comparing the CRATE Boss with the 56 pocket BUCKET Boss product. Both products are very well made with intelligent design features. Both use the same hard use materials. And should last an exceptionally long time.
The Crate Boss has a lower center of gravity than a comparably filled Bucket Boss. It has less tendency to tip over when in the back of your pickup. It does tend to slide around though.
It also isn't easily carried with only one hand like the Bucket Boss can be.
There is enough room in the Crate to carry other power tools like a circular saw that you can't get into a Bucket Boss bucket.
I love Bucket Boss products and the CrateBoss is another useful product.

4-0 out of 5 stars Be sure to buy the crate at the same time!
I've had real difficulty finding a crate to fit this product. They claim to fit a "standard" 13" crate, but most crates are now a bit larger, I believe, in order to hold file folders. Be sure and order the Bucket Boss with the crate to avoid frustration.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for organizing the truck
There is no limit to how many tools you can cram into this great organizer. I bought my crate boss some time ago, but it sat on a shelf until I spotted an old milk crate in an abandoned warehouse. Since then I have been amazed at how many ways you can store tools, bottles, tape measures, flash lights and any number of other items. If you don't feel like putting everything back in its place, you can just chunk it into the open area in the middle of the crate. Later, you can sort everything out and put it in its place. That suits my style perfectly.

5-0 out of 5 stars Got tools?
I have two of these as well as several bucket boss's. I like both for different reasons. They both hold lots of tools of every size and shape. I did away with all my tool boxes since these came out. ( except for my antique Gerstner ) Crates waste less space because of their square design. They don't tip over like a bucket . You can stack them but then they might tip. Because of their lower profile they are easier to find tools in. You have to carry these with both hands if you dont want to spill them out. You can fit longer tools in a bucket. You can carry two buckets at a time one in each hand. Both hold enough tools to be too heavy. Over all I think I like the crates a tad better.

5-0 out of 5 stars Non Spill Tool Bucket
This is a great product. When fully loaded it will not tip over in your truck. More room than a 5 gallon bucket system. Easier to carry than a bucket too. Tons of pockets ,holds way too many tools. ... Read more
