Dimesion Master Model #3330
This is a great little device! Works as well as the $700 unit I have in the office, but is much smaller and simpler to use. I use the product on job sites and it works very well. Just point the device at the target to measure push a single button and the dimension is on the read out. The laser pointer is very helpful and not common at this price point. The laser in this product's title is actually just for sighting purposes and can be turned off if you prefer. The unit's head flips, so you can measure in tight spaces or at strange angles. The Dimension Master is powered by two lithium batteries and will deliver some 70,000 measurements before it's time to replace the batteries. Its maker boasts a 99 percent accuracy rate, and in our trials, we have to concur that it's at least that good. Great For Real Estate Agents
As a real estate agent I needed to be able to quickly determine the dimensions of a room for my clients. The 3336 Laser Dimension Master is just what I needed. The distance calculations are done by sonar and the laser pointer is very helpful for sighting accurately. My clients are impressed and that's what I had hoped for. Can't beat it for the money.

Perfect tool for anyone doing construction estimating, material take offs, or engineering.Makes calculations with feet and inches fast and easy.The buttons are big, good for any size fingers.Though it works great for desktop use, the size would make it cumbersome in the field.

Even better than the handheld model!
I've used Construction Master calculators for the last 15 or so years. I started with the first one and have upgraded each time Calculated added more bells and whistles, they keep getting better. At any one time I'llprobably have 2-3 of them -- one in my tool-belt, one in my truck and onein the job-shed.What makes this new desktop model so great is that it'sgot all the best features of the handheld -- plus some extras like cuttingangles, trig, a backspace key and more memories. Plus my eyes aren't asgood as they were 15 years ago, so I really appreciate the big displaydigits.All in all an excellent tool that will have a permanent home on my-- and my estimators -- desk from now on! Works great!
I must have a dozen calculators, so why buy another? This one manipulates fractions easily and converts several kinds of measures that I use often (board-feet, cubic yards, etc) and calculates cost with few keystrokes. It has a super-intuitive user interface, too, which helps a lot. It's worth every penny.

What a little gem!
This calculator is so much fun and so easy to use that sometimes I pick it up and start trying to think of little projects to measure. My favorite feature: 25 buttons instead of 125! The design is dead simple and elegant. Conversions between metric and English, distances and board-feet, wall space and gallons of paint. Auto-calculations resulting in linear, square, and cubic measurements. This is my favorite calculator of all time. And I love the little flip cover and smooth back, giving me plenty of room to take my Sharpie and scrawl my name on the back, thus thwarting friends and neighbors who might have sticky fingers.

Fractions Never were My Strong Suit
I have owned many calculators, but this one must be the best! As a week-end home designer, I have used calculators and decimal conversion tables for years.
