chamberlain whisperdrive
I just installed the opener today.Fairly easy to install.I was able to use some of the exisiting hardware from the previous installation so I didn't have to worry about hangers or the wall or door mounts.The settings were pretty close right out of the box for distance and force.This has all the safety features that I was looking for plus it is very quiet.It is below our bedroom so I went with the belt drive.Much quieter than the LiftMaster chain drive it replaced.Besides all the usual bells and whistles that pretty much all the combo sets have (2 openers, rolling code, outside keypad, safety beam eyes) it has a cool feature that lets you add devices from the wall mount so you don't have to get up on a stool or ladder to press the "learn" button on the motor.The 2 100 watt lights are nice and bright.So far no complaints. ... Clicker did not work for me
I have an older model Sears garage door opener, and the Clicker had the same dip switches, but this Clicker opener would not work with my Sears Garage Door Opener.

Be careful
This "universal" remote does not work with Overhead Door Co. systems. Buyer beware!

Had to call technical support to make it work.
After 30 minutes of trying with no result, I called Technical Support. We re-tried everything, and then they suggested putting the switches in the opposite positions as documented. It then worked. They might spend an additional $0.02 on documentation and save everyone time. It worked flawlessly after that.

Works on both my Openers!
I have two Garage Door Openers in my house, a new Chamberlain Belt Drive we bought a few months ago, and an old LiftMaster Chain Drive that was here when the house was built. We primarily use the Garage Door with the new opener, but have had to have two remotes in each car for those times when I want to open the other garage door. What a pain! We bought this remote to solve the problem, and it did!

The remote was pretty easy to program for both openers. Now both my wife and I only have to carry this "Clicker," instead of the two different remotes on the visor. Great & simple product!

i shouldn't complain about its site. i have yet to go to one to

probably would be a good idea to set up the site by letting
about 50 "normal" people figure out how they should try and buy one. Give each a different remote.

1 star lost due to Chamberlain customer service...
My ex was a couch potato and we didn't have the money to hire people to fix things, so I learned to do more than the average woman would attempt, which is why I installed this opener myself, with the only help being when it came to lift and hold while I put the bolts in. I did run into a snag and had to call Chamberlain tech support. His diagnosis was that the mother board burnt out, and since I didn't have an Ohm meter, that I'd have to have a professional come out and look at it and that I WOULD BE THE ONE RESPONSIBLE TO PAY THE PROFESSIONAL! I was SHOCKED!! I just got the unit a few days before which turns out to be defective and Chamberlain expected ME to pay for the service! What kind of customer support is that!!? As it turned out, after I hung up with him, it was just a wire that wasn't in all the way, and the unit works Great! Love it!

Good manual for the "Do-It-Yourself". Smooth Operation.
The screw driven opener performs very well. Operation is quiet and smooth. The computer's logic and sensors ensures the opener will avoid "crushing" incidents. The lightweight rail is easy to assemble and stronger then expected. I used Locktite medium strength to ensure nuts would not vibrate off. The lack of vibration made the Locktite superfluous.

The manual was clearly written. Providing the installation steps are followed, the system is easy to install in a half a day. Please make sure your door is balanced as explained in the manual. You do need a 6 ft. "A" frame ladder. Manuals can be previewed (to see if you want to tackle this job) and additional accessories are available at Chamberlain's own web site.

Cheap and works perfect!!
Very good, easy to install. Easy to program. Works perfect!

It works - But only for a while
I've now purchased two of these openers and each went out after only a couple of years. When it was new, it worked well but be prepared, it will fail when you need it most. My most recent failure was when my wife went out walking and a storm came up. She was unable to get back in the house becasue "The Clicker" was dead.

I'm replacing mine today....but with another brand.

Clicker Corp (Chamberlain) Remote Garage Door Opener
Mine worked only a few days until the battery died. When I replaced the battery, the opener no longer worked, even after I reprogrammed it.

Handy
Handy. Kids and relatives can enter our home w/o giving them a key to loose. Can change the passcode anytime. When out of town, take the batteries out to prevent break-in. We don't need to use our door into the garage anymore.

It worked ok... but after 4 years we need to replace it
We've had this about 4 years. The last time the battery died, it would no longer work to open to doors. We're replacing it, but not getting another Clicker. There is no reason for it to die after so few years. ... Read more
