The Coleman Cable is a must for any do-it-yourselfer. This cable is a must have item for your power tools with cords. The four outlets on the cord lets you connect multiple tools. Great Product!
Works as advertised. Unlike the first poster, I have had no problems with this unit. I have it mounted on the ceiling, and the retract function works flawlessly. It is a welcome addition to my workshop. Highly recommended. Oh yeah - the thing is BIG.

Frustrating
I bought this reel as a gift, but after inspecting the retract funtion, there was no way I was going to give this as a present. The retract function rarely worked, and once we got it to lock the cable out it wouldn't retract, we tried the directions and mounted it in the horizontal and vertical positions, nothing worked. For the time it took to get the cable to lock out I could have un-coiled an extension cable and coiled it back up. End result: for $100 it just isn't worth it. If you need 12 gauge cable the get a Reelcraft, if you don't buy the cheap $40 reel.

Great Jumper cables from a name you can trust...
I had one pair of these cables that I keep in the trunk of my car, and now I am getting a second pair for my second car. Solid construction, nice thick guage. Clamps are very secure and the no tangle feature is amazing. The fact that it is also secure on side post batteries is a major plus. This is a must have for the trunk of your car, however I recommend going with the longer cables. It's also a nice feature that they stay flexible to -94F for those of you in colder states/areas. These things will never let you down!! Coleman is a name you can trust in all sorts of products. I also recommend getting the jumper cable bag just in case they ever get dirty, you don't want the truck of your car getting dirty because of jumper cables. Very sturdy 4-guage wire provides all the amperage you need, you wont lose power through the cables length, you will always get a nice clean start using these cables, whether it be starting your car, or just charging your battery, they will not let you down.
