Corona's professional heavy-duty bypass lopper seems to be the Cadillac of loppers. A grand 36 inches long, with tapered hickory handles, the lopper has blister-deterring nonslip grips. The forged Radial Arc bypass blade has a 2-1/4-inch-diameter cutting capacity. The lopper also boasts a slant-ground hook with a self-cleaning sap groove for consistently smooth cutting. We have to admit, however, that we're really wowed by the neoprene ShockStop shock bumpers. Side by side with other bumpers we've tested, the ShockStop shock bumpers prove to be distinctly superior in effectiveness and durability.
