Good product of type
Tungsten carbide's hard stuff, but it's brittle too. Don't expect miracles from bits of this sort. High speed operation in rigid workpieces of any mass will usually result in bits very soon broken by the huge forces generated when the bit resonates against the workpiece. Operation in ceramics or similar hard crystalline materials will rapidly take the edge off these bits and render them useless. If the work absolutely DEMANDS the use of a rotary bit, and the material being worked is of a suitable type, then the use of an expensive bonded diamond grit type bit will save much money and time in the long run. ...
