Another great Milwaukee product
This saw is a great product. There are only two drawbacks but they are minimal. One, the maximum cutting depth is 3 1/2 inches compared to the other models at 4 3/4, however the cutting width is 4 1/2 inches so if your good you can cut things as big around as 5 or 6 inches if you roatate the stock. Second, this tool is not equipped with a variable speed trigger. It is two speeds, controlled by a seperate switch. Overall though it is an excellent heavy duty saw. Easy to use and fairly light weight under 20 lbs. to lift and cut, with easy to use front handle for great control. One Tough Shear
We use several of these in an industrial manufacturing plant. They are tough, and do the job, year after year. Hey Vicky, to swivel the head, you simply loosen ONE bolt, swivel or rotate the shear head to the desired position, and retighten.

There are three bolts on the shear head. The bolt to loosen is the one that is closest to where the silver colored shear head attaches to the gray body. The wrench should be in the box. Enjoy!

Sheet Metal Muncher
I picked up this tool when I decided it was time to add some metal roofing to my home. It was an obvious choice for the job, and Milwaukee is one of my key brands. This little wonder will mow through sheet metal like nobody's business. It made short work of custom cutting edge trim and holes for vent piping. I'd still be working on that roof job if I was using hand snips. Milwaukee designed this tool right by building it on a drill body. The ergonomics are great. The head can be made to swivel to any desired position by loosening the set screw on the side of the head with the hex key that comes with the tool. Way to go Milwaukee !!

is it a swivel hear
Sometimes that refers to the ease of cutting a circle. I think this version can cut down to a 7" circle without curling up edges. I may be wrong, but that is what I was told years ago.

Best Angle Grinder
I've had this grinder for three years now, and have used it for cutting, grinding and sanding metal and masonry - it has been flawless. I've even thrown diamond-cutting wheels on it for wet and dry cutting of tile and concrete (also occasional drywall jobs).

I own three angle grinders - this 5" Milwaukee, a 7" Dewalt, and a 9" Milwaukee. I pull this out over 90% of the time. The balance, weight, and variable speed make this the tool of choice. You will probably be surprised how often you'll make use of the variable speed on this tool. This is one of only a few power tools that I couldn't live without.

The only drawback is the limited selection of 5" wheels, but since it out performs the other 4 1/2 grinders, that's not much of an issue. It isn't the cheapest angle grinder out there, but I'm convinced it is the best. ... Read more
