Delta Wet/Dry Grinder, Reconditioned
The condition of the grinder was the same as new. It runs with only a minimum of vibration and the included large white stone is exactly right for the sharpening that this tool is meant to do. The smaller white stone works well also. The only problem I see is that when the grinder is positioned where I want it, the small wheel is lower than I would like. Since the primary sharpening is done on the large wheel and the small one mainly is used to rough-out edges, this has not been a big concern. The tool rest for the large wheel is adequate for most of my uses but I probably will make an auxiliary rest for sharpening my turning gouges. The tool is a joy to use. ... Read more

Pleased for the Price
I purchased this sander in March and have used it extensively since. Although, not as powerful as its Craftsman or Jet cousins - it more than makes up for it with its excellent price which is around half of the price of the aforementioned.

Utterly incompetent¿yet gutless and cumbersome.
This machine lacks the power to pull a 5" x 7" x 6' 4/4 piece of alder across my 3 hp table saw. I thought it was a bargain, instead its just...from Delta. Can't imagine this working for anyone. I'm sending this one back and buying a 1hp and waiting for shipping...again.

do your self a favor and buy/build a router table
I've used this machine on several occasions at the shop where I work. Delta has many great products in its stable, but this is not one of them. First off, the machine is way too light. a router/shaper (...) should be heavy in order to reduce vibration. Secondly, the top is cast aluminum. Good Lord, and with those horrible grooves. And my final point (though I could go on ad infinitum), the table is too small.

A deal for the money
Overall the item performs well. I use it to cut styles, rails and raised panels for cabinet doors. This model includes a dust shroud for chip pickup by a collector which is helpful when using on curves and other applications. Only drawback: When adusting the the the cutter head height I have to estimate additional travel of the head when the cutterhead lock is applied.
