difficult to purchase
If I wanted to go looking for a local store that had these batteries in stock, I wouldn't be here, would I?

No Drain
This product worked super. I have been using it over and over again for 3 months now on my digital camera. I got an extra set to always have fresh batteries. Durable, Bright Little Bulbs
I put one of these in my old MiniMag after the original bulb burned out. I do believe these are a little "hotter" than the one that was in the flashlight when I bought it ten years ago. Great batteries, better than Energizer.
I think Duracell and Duracell Ultra are great batteries. If you're going to buy batteries you should buy Duracell.

Amber lens is not included in this kit
Be advised that MagLite has changed the content of this kit. Instead of red and amber lenses, the kit now has red, blue, and clear lenses. (The part number of the kit is still AM2A016.)

Cool extras for your double A mini mag.
This is a great accessory pack. The rubber lens cover allows you to change lenses quickly, the red lens allows you to do things in the dark while maintaining your night vision, and the other accessories allow you to carry your flashlight just about anywhere. The only problem is that the different lenses are really easy to lose if your not using them.

Great for astronomy
The red lens is great for astronomy because it does'nt destroy your night-vision like a white lightbulb does. The other accessories are handy so you don't lose your flashlight when you are looking through your telescope.

The Colored Lenses are the best!

Keeps your Maglite handy and ready to use.
This is a must have item if you need to carry your MagLite with you while you're working. The only down side to its design is the weight of the 6D cell MagLite will eventually cause the snap holding the together to fail.

It will take a lot of abuse before it does fail and it sure beats holding the flashlite all night long.

Falshlight carrier
It carries a D cell flashlight well. What more can be said.

It works, but not well.
I have owned a variety of high-end flashlights over the years and at one time worked as a Sheriff's Sergeant in a major metropolitan area. In that line of work a bright flashlight is a tool of the trade, and is carried at all times, even during the day.

A belt holder for a flashlight should keep the flashlight securely attached to the belt and allow the user to rapidly deploy and replace the flashlight with a minimum of fuss. It should allow the flashlight the freedom to swing and swivel to accommodate sitting in a vehicle and/or riding a snomobile, ATV or similar conveyance. This belt holder only accomplishes the first objective. While it does hold the flashlight securely, it tends to bind if one attempts to remove the flashlight without using a second hand to hold the ring perpendicular to the flashlight body and a second hand is required to hold the ring perpendicular to the flashlight body to return the flashlight to it's holstered position. The ring also has only limited freedom to allow the flashlight to swing forwards and backwards to clear obstacles and vehicle steats and saddles.

For casual use this product is OK. But for professional use, the product's single-axis swinging ring design detracts from it's usefullness. If you're serious about a flashlight holster, buy one of the all-leather products that has a ring that is soft and compliant and hold itself at 90 degrees to the belt ring. Batteries are over rated
Didn't last that long when use on a digital camera!!!

The best ones around!
I just love these batteries. They last longer than Energizers and work with all sorts of gadgets. The price as it is now just can't be beat!

A disappointment, to say the least.
I expected so much and yet recieved so little from these so called "batteries." Number one, I was disappointed to find out, after some scientific analyses I performed on them, that duracell's world famous "copper top" statement is erroneous. This so called "copper top" is nothing more than a copper-aluminum alloy called copposyclamatrane. I can't top the copper top? hardly. After the analyses, I put these "copper top" batteries to the test. What I did was I stuck them in my flashlight expecting a brilliant flashlike-like sheen. What I got was far from. A tiny light that could only be classified as much less than miniscule. I threw the flashlight at my cat in disgust, expecting hilarious results, and I wasn't disapointed! This was the only good thing that came out of the worst purchase decision I've ever made. Thanks for nothing, dura-hell!

The best portable source of power I've found yet!!!
These things are absolutely marvelous! Seriously folks, these little miracles are by far the best way I've found so far to power portable gadgets, and what's even better is that all of the gadgets are designed specifically for use with these "batteries". Keeps flashlight from rolling around
Mag should sell the rubber anti-roll device with all their flashlights. It's so nice to set the flashlight down and not have it roll all around. The flashlight holder is a nice bonus. The colored lenses I haven't used yet. Kind of pricey add-on just to get the anti-roll device, but who wants a flashlight that rolls all over the place.

excellent accessories!
All are good quality. We have the brackets in the hallway to the basement and another set in the garage so we're ready when the power goes off (often). They are well made and really hold the flashlight in snugly, even in the vertical position which worked well for our locations. As for the colored lenses. I like to look at bugs at night and my husband has a telescope so these lenses have come in handy when we're outside at night and don't want to have to keep adjusting our eyes. Great value and great product!

First off, The price here ... is the best. I should have checked here before I paid 1.5x the price ... has it for.

The Good:
Mounting Brackets. These mouthing brackets are excelent. I love having my flashlight hanging from the wall, it just looks great.

The OK.
Anti Roll Device. This is great if you if say you are sitting at a desk and you want your flashlight to rest on the desk. It does its job well, but I haven't found too many uses for it.

The Bad.
Red, amber, and blue lenses. These are a real hassle to get into the flashlight, at least for me. Once in they look ok, but served me no good purpose. ... Read more

Disappointed
I've read the other review here and decided to add the voice of my experience as well. For whatever reason, all of the 8 batteries I bought also malfunctioned. They didn't hold a charge or charge at all. The 4 of 8 that did initially work slowly started to malfunction as well, so that after 6 months I needed to buy new NiMH batteries (Rayovac, which have been working great.

Very poor product
It's been a long time since I've encountered a product that is so badly designed or manufactured. I purchased a total of six of these AAA batteries and none of them worked properly. Some of them refused to hold a charge, and those that did still could not power my little mp3 player. I returned the charger and batteries and even the replacements have the same problem. One of the batteries even started leaking on its first charge. I have had much better luck with Kodak's Ni-MH product. ... Read more
