Great, except for lousy recoil
This would be a great reel if the recoil worked better. After all, isn't that the purpose of buying a reel ... so it will recoil itself? Also, they should include a swivel base mount.

Design flaws
First one of these I received came out of the box damaged beyond repair. Switch was broke, regulator fitting broken off flush with the tank, tabs on the compressor that the shroud connects to were broken off from the compressor. Tool Crib did take very good care of me and sent me a new one. I went over the new one with the proverbial fine-toothed comb. All was intact. After about 2 hours of use (with me that translates to about 3 months) one of the tabs on the compressor that connects to the shroud has broken off. I have not moved the compressor since the day I took it from its box. I really think the thing is way too fragile for professional use. I am breaking the thing and I am just a hobbyist.

On the plus side, I can hold a conversation with my wife while the thing is running. It's a bit loud but not as loud as some of the "oil free" compressors are.

Very nice unit
I'm a carpenter/contractor and need reliable, good, long lasting equipment. Very happy with this air compressor. Hefty, but can carry around most anywhere. Not so loud to use inside and dosen't recycle so much and when it dose, it is quick. Handles framing to finish. Have plugged into 300 feet of electric cord and no problem with curcuit breakers. Very sturdy and am happy so far with product. Everyone is impressed with it.

Poor Quality Nails for the Porter-Cable Finish Nailer
These nails are not of the quality necessary for the Porter-Cable Finish Nailer that they are typically advertised with (FN250A). They sometimes came out 2 at a time, not at all, or caused the nailer to jam. I called Porter-Cable, and acquired their nails, and the problems went away. A Great Reel for the home shop
I found this product here on Amazon.com but bought it for less at HD. I mounted it on the ceiling of my 20X20 shop and it reaches everywhere I need for it to go. I bougth a 25' hose to run from the reel to my compressor. The tension was a little tight but the instructions explained how to losen it up, no problem. No seal leaks, rewinds fine. If you have a small shop and need quick and easy access to a retractable hose this is the unit to get.

Excellent Retractable Hose Reel for the Home Work Shop
For the home workshop, Dollar for Dollar I think this set up is great. I had no problem with the tension that was set for retracting the hose back into the reel. I did not use the template for the drilling of the holes. I just held the reel where I wanted to mount it on the wall marked out the hole pattern for the two bottom holes, put the two bottom bolts half way in set the reel on them and traced out the two top holes and drilled them. It took all of about 20 min. to complete the whole task. The only draw back is the hose is set up is for a 3/8 connector so I had to get a reducing coupling that took it down to 1/4 inch. No big deal coulping costed all of a $1.85.

Did not receive it in 14 days.
I didn't get the damn thing, so I don't like it.

No problems, a great little hose reel for the money
I was looking for an inexpensive hose reel for my home shop. This was the most afordable one I could find on-line. It works just great.

Didn't Meet My Expectations
I bought this reel and was disappointed. First of all, the template they provided for the mounting bolt positions did not match the actual mounting plate. Four more large holes in my wall I had it installed. Then the real complaint. The tension is very difficult to adjust. I felt like I was going to break the hose I had to pull it so hard to get it fully extended. Then, after it retracted, it coiled off of the reel, making a huge kinked mess of the hose and created a job of resetting the hose tension, etc. I returned the unit and have ordered a Rapid Reel hand crank unit. Good performance, value
I've been using the FP32 for only a few weeks so I can't comment on durability, but I've been happy with the performance-value aspect. Previous reviewer dissed foam grip which is definitely cheapo (one star deduction). But for the price it shoots nails nicely and has a decent length range which is 1-1/4" to 2-1/2". Also, depth adjustment works well (air must be disconnected to adjust). Nail track is beveled at tail which helps fit in some tight spots--but not like an angle nailer. To unload nails, just depress the lever through the finger hole in the spring-loaded lever and out they slide. Also a 1/4" male coupler is included (which is new for Senco, I think).

Good value with some limitations
When my wife asked me to install some crown molding, I figured that this was the time to invest in a compressor and nail gun. The FinishPro 32 looked like a good value and, for the occasional user, it certainly is. The instruction book is very limited and I have yet to find out how to unload nails from the unit. The straight magazine makes getting into some tight spots a little more difficult than an angled nailer would be but, for the difference in price, the nail guns with an angled magazine were not worth it to me. The foam grip on the handle began to disintegrate by the time I had driven a couple hundred nails. If I were running a production shop, this would not be the gun I would choose but, for my home improvement and furniture building chores it has been serving me quite well. I would buy it again. ... These staples are designed to work with your us58 Porter Cable upholstery stapler. I have not been able to find these locally, so the best bet is to buy them here. The 3/8" doesn't have a deep bite, so they are ideal for those situations where you either don't want to come out the other side of thin material, or need to be able to release them at a later date. solve your problem
Before now I hardly use the compressor because of the harass to deal with the hose, you know, go get the hose! unwind it, undo the knots and all that stuff. So far so good
I've had this compressor for about a year and like it. It was ready to go after adding the oil which was included. I bought it when I switched to air tool sanding and it easily keeps up with that job.
The drain is a little hard access. The manual advises you to releive the air pressure though the quick relief valve, automatically down to about 10PSI, then opening the water drain and closing the valve before restarting.

pump bearings leaking after one year of light duty use
after one year of light duty use pump bearing leaking oil and fly wheel belt won't ride true . unit now in shop waiting for parts, down time three to four weeks, had to borrow small compressor from family member. I would not recomend this compressor at all. A better compressor would be home depots huskey 60 gal a much better built unit at 399.00 pump is solid cast iron and the tubing is copper vs alumium that poter cable uses .I think poter cable should stick to building beltsanders, routers,& sawzalls

It's KEEN!
My wife is always on me to rotate the tires. Now I can do it in under 6.5 hours!!

Thank goodness, now I've got enough air to last me dozens of rotations and the compressor hardly ever has to come on. We've even tried to really stress it out by blowing up my daughter's pool toys AT THE SAME TIME! :-)

Air Compressor
This air compressor has alot of power, more than enough to run two tools at one time. Was simple to set up (wiring, piping, etc.)

The only drawback that I found was the drain plug on the bottom, it leaked air even after tighting it up.

It is not real loud. Runs smooth. Makes hard jobs easy.

It only took me about 10 minutes to rotate my tires because I had an impact wrench.

It makes me feel like I'm a professional mechanic now :) ... Read more

AWESOME
This tool is light weight and comfortable to use.It is made of an indestructible poly material which in my opinion is every bit as durable as the more traditional aluminum housing.I've had no problems with jamming or the no mar nose piece. The belt hook well..... I didn't find it useful, thats not to say you wont.This is a professional quality tool that would make a nice addition to any mans shop. It's user friendly too,with top or bottom re-build kits readily available should you ever need one. I do have a few small gripes about this tool and senco.The exhaust port you cant adjust,the air fitting that dosen't come with the tool.Why dosen't senco offer smaller packs of their brand nails.The smallest box of galvenized I could find was 4,000.I do recommend this tool it truely is awesome.Made in america and built to last.Now get out there and build something

I keep this one for me
What a lovely finish nailer. If you don't need to fire 2 1/2" nails then this gun is even better than the SFN40, it is lighter and better balanced. A lot of peolpe are raving about how the new Bostitch will fire into cinder block and the like - c'mon guys these are FINISH nailers. Anybody who has used a firearm will tell you that the lighter the gun the more recoil. You have to strike a balance and with Senco's usual quality, reliability, and oiless design I'll take this one every time.

needs improvement
I've had this nailer for about 3 years now and shot through several boxes of nails. I've changed my original mark of four stars to three stars. I've been having some major problems with my nailer double shooting. I haven't had these problems before but they are occuring more often which tells you something about the integrity of the tool. As a cabinet maker this has caused me a lot of extra work fixing the damage. Not too mention the danger factor. Another issue is the fixed exaust port. It would be nice to ba able to control its direction. And finally the nails Senco uses have a more round head on them which makes for a bigger hole to fill. This bigger nail head also tends to spilt the wood more. I'm putting this nailer on the shelf and looking into Paslode or Bostich.
