Lifesaver!
We've had our detector four years, always showed the low reading of zero. Then, in the middle of the night one night it awoke my wife and I to display very high readings of carbon monoxide. We called the fire department which investigated to discover a problem with our furnace. They said if we didn't have it we might have died.

This detector saved our lives!
We had two CO detectors in the home, this one and another brand's battery operated one. The Nighthawk always went off and my parent's always ignored it. Finally, one Sunday, without my parents permission (I was in my 20's), I called the fire department to have them check it out. Our levels were so high that the fire department said that got an instant headache when they walked in. At times our levels were well over 300. Please get one...Co is the SILENT killer.

Works perfectly

I find the male and female end connectors extremely stiff at room temperature and doubt that they will be any better than the stack of other brand cords whose ends failed in the -20° to -30° temperatures we have here. STAY AWAY
Monster Cable is currently trying to take over the domain name of Monstervintage.com and strong arm a minority woman business owner that Recycles classic American clothing. They are dragging these people into a legal fight because they think there is going to be some confusion between clothing and electronic equipment. Oh please. All wires neat and in place
There are lot's of power strips out there. This one is a neat and safe one that has turned the jungle of wire behind our TV into an organized and protected array. Overall a good product with a nice manufacturer's Guarantee of performance.
