Finally safety glasses that aren't reminiscent of BC glasses
We've all seen them, you know what I'm talking about, the exceeedingly nice safety glasses straight out of cold war era movies. I Love These Safety Glasses
I bought these safety glasses because I am paranoid about injuries while woodworking. These glasses are comfortable and they fit over my prescription glasses. I don't wear bifocals but thought that they would be useful for reading prints and measurements and I was not disappointed. At age 45 my eye doctor told me that +1.5 would be fine. (He also said that most people's eye sight degrade linearly and a good rule of thumb would be would be a 0.5 factor increase every 5 years. In other words I will probably be a bifocal of 2.0 at age 50 and 2.5 at age 55 etc.)

get the correct power
Dont get the same power as you would if you were buying reading glasses. The strenght for reading glasses should be stronger than the shop glasses. This is because you hold your material closer if you are reading than if you are working out in the shop. Think about it most of the time when you are out in the shop you are working at distances of 20-36 inches and when reading your working distance is about 16 inches. About Time
As I've gotten older, my need for eyeglasses while driving, reading, etc has become more and more apparent! I've procrastinated when it comes to compensating for my far sightedness while woodworking, until now. Oh sure, I wore safety glasses and have been glad I did on many occasions!
Now I can have the best of both worlds with the Woodshop Specs 70625 +2.5 Bifocal Safety Glasses! Eye protection and better eyesight when reading measurements, lining up saw blades etc AND exceptional eye protection at the same time!!
These safety glasses are comfortable, fit snugly with the adjustable side pieces AND clearly magnify without distortion.
