quick and easy set-up
I received the fence today about 3:30 PM and by 4:45PM I was alined and using the fence. It fit my old Sears table saw perfectly. I did have to drill a couple of holes for the back rail, but that was not a problem. It worked great. I have already ran several board feet through it. I'm looking forward to many hours of ease with the new fence.

Great Upgrade
I purchased the Vega Fence to upgrade my Grizzly 1022SM Table saw. The Vega fence bolted to the table with no problems and with no need to drill extra holes. After installation and adding on my Extension table for the 50" fence bar, the Fence was Accurate and stays Accurate. I now can set my Fence where I want it and be sure its dead on.
Simply put this was a great Investment.

Great Rip Fence
I bought this tool at Amazon.com. I bought this rip fence because I could not align my other rip fence on my new Delta 36-444 Contractors Table Saw. It connected to my table saw with out drilling any holes. It is very accurate. However, when I aligned it I discovered a slight cup in the middle of the fence. Fortunately, It was not enough to prevent good cuts. I may never use the full 50", but it is nice to know it is there.

It's worth it if you put it on a good saw
I bought it because I thought it would help the used Craftsman table saw I bought. It didn't. I shoulda knowed better. Then, like Lester, I bought a Grizzly 1022 which came with a barely adequate fence. Putting a good fence on a cheap saw is dumb. Putting it on a saw with a little mass and muscle that'll hold its adjustments makes a world of difference. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is because I'll have to completely remove the measuring tape and glue in a new one if I want the thing to zero out at the blade. Right now it's a half-inch off and that's a bit frustrating. But that's the worst thing about it. It's dead-on square and it STAYS that way.

What took me so long
Installed the Vega on my Delta Contractor's saw, which was a breeze. It is very accurate, glides very easily and love the micro adjustment. Once set, the thing is rock solid. Also like the easy lift off removal. The only down side, is unlike the Delta, the Vega has no support for the table extensions. However, some angle iron solved that problem. Sure wish I had installed the Vega long ago...my vocabulary of bad words would have been much shorter and my knuckles would be much prettier. ... Read more

GREAT ADDITION
I added this fence to my Delta contractor's saw after using the stock fence with bump and push accuracy. What a huge difference the fence makes. I have used the fence for several weeks now- no more burn marks, bumping or inaccurate cuts. I am starting to use the micro-adjustment feature which also seems very handy. Set-up for the fence took a while longer than advertised. Recommend you set the fence up and do several rounds of adjustment to get everything zeroed right in. A trip to the hardware store for some smaller screws and bolts than those provided by Vega was also necessary. Good Luck with this great product.

Just installed & smiling ear to ear
I purchased this product to upgrade a VERY old Craftsman table saw (circa 1950). I finished installing this today and was very impressed with the test cuts that I completed after the installation. Due to the age of the saw I needed to drill a few holes into the cast table top. In addition, the narrow width of the table required a hole to be drilled into the back support as well. Even though this is recommended in the installation of the product, one does hesitate drilling holes into an expensive accessory. However this was all very easily accomplished. (I was able to install & perform necessary modifications to the fence during the first half of the U. Cinti/Kent State NCAA game) GO CATS. The adjustments were very easy and intuitive. Bottom line... I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to all questing to improve the performance of an older table saw.

Vega fence on Taiwan-made saw
I have had an old Taiwan-made saw for years and am very satisfied with it -- except for the rip fence. After checking around I decided on the Vega. It installed very fast using the furnished hardware -- no trips to buy screws and bolts. I spent some time making sure it was straight and am delighted with the results. Just set the fence's ruler for the dimension you want and start cutting -- no more trial and error and measuring the front and the back of the blade. I'd recommend this fence to ANYONE! Great product!

Wonderful fence!
This is really a great buy. It is one solid and accurate fence. It is really easy to remove fence from the table when needed. I have a really small space so I got this fence. It can cut 26" to the right as mentioned in the description. People with tight space may want to know the total length of the rail. It is 48".
I installed it on a Delta Contractors saw and found it very easy to install (even though the the instructions are not very clear). It already has holes drilled in right places for Delta and some other saws. You may have to drill a few holes if you have a different saw. This is a top quality product. Hope they improve the instruction part. Don't hesitate to buy this fence system.

upgrade is not right, REVITALIZE is
I have 2 old craftsman saws (one 45 year old and one 23 year old), both I have nurtured through the years and replaced motors and miter gauges and table wings, but I never trusted the fence. Frankly I didnt think I ever would. I always measured from the fence to the front of the blade, then to the back. Nevermore, I footed the bill and upgraded and found that I had a brand new piece of equipment. Straight repeatable cuts. The micro adjustment feature is nice, but the main lockdown is easy enough that I only use it when fine tuning.

As for the featherboard users, you will definately want to modify the included spring bar tab that holds the back of the fence down so that it fits more snugly than factory made. Also the instructions could be more clear, but if you need this level of accuracy I am sure you can figure it out. Gotta say it is worth every penny and then some. Wish I had bought mine sooner and not waited for a job that "justified" its cost. ... Read more

Slick table system
Had to special order this product from tool specialty store. Should have looked here first. I didn't realize the space requirements of a miter saw and table system. (They never look that large in the photos) Have to build a new bench. The table attached easily to my 12 miter saw (Delta 36-235). I purchase a 6' fence. No adjustments were necessary, though that may not always be the case. Stock slides smoothly along table system and is much nicer than wrestling long boards. I would like to see them offered with miter stops and tape measures. I will probably purchase a 3' miter table for the right side of the blade. Attaching the table system to the top of a bench will require some planning because the legs are slightly recessed.

THIEVES: Make sure this is what you really want......
I purchased this on April 11th. About 30 minutes later I needed to cancel the order. I found a cheaper price locally. They indicated i could not cancel the order but I could refuse shipment, and they would credit my card. That was almost 2 months ago. They have not credited my card and refuse to give me a phone number where I can speak with a CSR. No more Amazon for me..... To bad I liked this place. Sometimes principal can be a pain.

Yeah, it's pretty nice
Anyone researching this fence has probably already read numerous positive reviews and user comments about this system about Incra in general.
I've found them to be largely true, but the system has some issues, too:
Yep, it DOES take up a lot of precious floor-space. This is especially compounded by moving the rails further to the right to extend rip capacity.
My fence is not flat. I read a ~.020" bow (proud in the center behind the carriage) with my dial caliper over the length of the fence. I expect I could grind this down, or shim out via a sub-fence.
The rails are LONG, and supporting them, while not required, seems prudent. This is especially true if you're dropping a router in an extension wing.
The "hairline" cursor on my positioner is not a hairline - it's tough reading that little scale, too - I think I could easily lock down 1/32" off and not realize it (this could be my vision, though).
I noticed that clamping the positioner in seems to move the fence a little. Not a big deal but it makes initial set-up a little hit-or-miss.
This is a modular product, so the terminology gets confusing. You're looking at a TSIII fence "system" - it includes the Ultra positioner, rails, a mounting plate, fence, and carriage. To Incra's credit, these items are all offered seperately, but this makes it a little more confusing. Some of these parts are identical to the router-table based systems (the positioner, the carriage, e.g.). It seems a little redundant to buy a TS AND a RT system since they share these components.
The knob to clamp down the front of the fence seems a little cheesy, and the back of the fence is clamped down with a (supplied) Allen wrench driver. Just seems odd compared to conventional systems.

Obviously these are picky little issues - it's a clever design, it's very modular (adding extension tables/ accesories is a breeze), manuals and packaging are the best I've seen, it can serve double-duty as a RT fence, etc. With many more words I could convey: the system is really flexible and will allow you to come up with a configuration that will suit your work needs/style.

I'm saying nothing about accuracy here because I think that's been covered well elsewhere.

The fence seems to remain square to the slots / blade, but it just feels unlikely that this is true when you use it. The center mount, friction from dragging hold downs, and general "flimsyness" of the system (in it's unlocked state - when locked, it's very secure) make me feel like the fence is skewing all over the place.

I know this is mixed bag for a review but when I was researching, I could find nothing other than "perfect"...

Incra TSIII-32 Ultra Micro Precision Table Saw Fence
Three hundred plus dollars for a fence to be mounted to a five hundred dollar JWTS-10-JF table saw - I have to be crazy! It took me a while to justify an investment like that for a cheap contractors saw, but it was worth every penny spent. Assembly of the Incra TS III was easy with the detailed instructions provided. Minor details, such as shims, extra bolts for every occasion, and individual hardware packaging allowed for hassle-free assembly and a touch of class. Not to mention every tool needed (except a wrench) was included for ease of assembly; it took under two hours to "rough" in the fence assembly. I left it over night while I dreamed about the lumber that would be cut the next day. It took me about 30 minutes or so to make the final adjustments, and it is worth it.

I made several cuts after truing the fence. Repeatability is well within the .002" tolerances described (I used dial calipers to check measurement), as I went from 1" to 2" cuts then back to 1" with unmatched precision. The micro adjustment feature allows for adjustments as small as .001" - well within anything I will be making in my woodshop.

Everything about this fence shouts quality. I am hooked on the system, and would recommend it without reservation to anyone thinking about making a change from their standard fence.

One word - Amazing!
I bought this fence after researching various premium table saw fence systems but I was initially hesitant to commit due to the high price (compared to some of the other fences out there). Being unable to find even a single poor review on this product, I finally decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did.

Once installed and calibrated the precision of this fence is amazing. The 3 included scales (1 steel, 2 mylar and a slot for a fourth) can be individually adjusted thereby making different fence and blade setup combinations easy while maintaining precision. The fence has built-in sawtooth racks which allow positive stops to 1/32" and a fine adjustment knob allowing you to fine tune the fence position to an astounding .001". Of course under the vast majority of circumstances, this level of precision isn't necessary but it sure is nice to know its possible if you need it. Further, you can move and reposition your fence to the left side of the table and back again quickly and without losing ANY accuracy.

The fence installation was straight forward and installed easily on my newer model craftsman contractor's saw. The fit, finish and quality of the various components are outstanding and once assembled the system is very robust (even with the 92" rails which I upgraded to).

Overall, I can find no fault with this fence except the high price. However, if your serious about the quality of your tools, this system is worth the price.

Absolutely the Best
The "JetFence" that came with my Jet TS when I purchased it, is still in the shipping box...never been near the saw and as long as I have it, it will never get near it. I bought the TS-III upon recommendation of a friend...a long-time woodworker...who advised me to put the stock fence aside, install the TS-III, and see what real accuracy is. I did just that...and...he was right. The TS-III is IMHO the best non-stock fence there is on the market today. I purchased one of these for my Biesemeyer fence system. Like all the products these people make, it is top notch. And if you ever have a problem, just give them a call and talk to the factory about it. Almost everyone there can help you out. It's nice to have a great product backed by great customer satisfaction.

Wonderful!
I use this on my Jet Xacta table saw. Works great! For the price, you could build your own. However, this has a nice square face and a handy, easy-to-use clamping system! Definitely worth it!

Best Cut Off Fence
I have a 30" Biesemeyer fence on my Delta table saw, and had a hard time making up a cut off fence that wouldn't wreck the Biesmeyer fence, and that was still effective enough not to move around. This Biesemeyer Cut Off Fence does the job. It's easy to set up, and is extremely rigid. The best thing about it, is that you only need to subtract an inch from the fence setting for the correct cut. Low priced, accurate fence for all sorts of operations
I originally purchased the 4ft. Tru-Grip Pro to build a router table carcass and top. Once I mastered the efficient use of the tool, I found making deadon accurate square cuts quick and painless. I do not have the bases, but I don't really need them. I just use the edge of the tool for a fence, check square and offset for the operation and either saw off edges or route dados and rabbet cuts. It's a bit more of a pain to set up than my table saw, but the accuracy is spot on and for large pieces and panel crosscuts, this absolutely provides maximum utility for the cost.

The Tru Grip Pro FTR Series is a first class product
The Tru Grip Pro FTR series is a first class product. The thing that is very important is that they grip well (you can adjust it) and they are very true and accurate when using the Stop, or Router Guide, or Saw guide. No wobble, no play, just tight, smooth, snag free accuracy.
When you consider the tools they replace, they are also a bargain. With a 4 foot and an 8 foot model, you can cut 4 x 8 sheets of plywood, without having to shell out twenty times the money for a panel cutter. If I was cutting plywood sheets all day long, of course the panel cutter has some setup advantages. For example you don't have to bother to use a square when cutting with a panel cutter. But for portability, and accurate use, the Tru Grip system can't be beat.
The pro series is a lot wider than their regular guide clamps, that is to allow for the mitre T slots on both sides. That way the accessories can ride along those tracks. Their regular guide clamps are great for doing dadoes with a router for example. Use two of them, and you have an instant routing guide.
The circular saw accessory is very accurate. You just drill holes in the plate, which is phenolic plastic, and mount your saw. Then you drop your saw down through the plate, giving you an extremely tight fit, which prevents tear out, when cutting through finish work. So you wind up dedicating a circular saw to it.
The stop piece is great for all sorts of uses, like when routing blind dadoes, or for making repeated cuts at a certain depth.
Having the 4' and the 8 foot model is convenient. Using an 8' for everything is not advised. The long overhang left by an 8' on a short piece of work is not easy to deal with.
I use the 8' when trimming door edges. How else can you run an 80 inch door through a machine in order to get an adjusted edge?
The router plate is already machined out with a circle in the middle that is oversize, so as to keep the bit at a maximum clearance for plunging. Once again, you drill it yourself to accomodate your specific router.
The router , saw, and stop accessories are premade to fit into the specific configuration on the edge of the guide, as well as the T slot, creating a very snug fit, with no play, yet not binding.
The days of finding a left over edge of a plywood sheet, then figuring out how to clamp it down, in order to cut larger sheets are over. This system is lightweight, made out of thick aluminum, which makes it substantial, yet a breeze to carry around.

The equipment it replaces, and the accurracy it creates in your work, make it well worth the price. Highly recommended.

Very handy!
Really helps cross cutting operations in a small shop, and when combined with one of the bases also available helps deliver repeatable, accurate results. What more do you need?

Accurate, solid, easy to use
I like my tools to have a very solid feel to them, and this tool certainly provides that. Additionally it is very accurate and has made crosscutting plywood in my small shop much less painful (still have that space issue..). Combined with a cross cutting jig comprised of a few 2x4s, this thing will deliver results each and every time.

Used
I knew that this was going to be a less than great product but I did not expect it to be used. They didnt even bother to clean the sawdust out of it!

Not bad for the money
For the money, this is not a bad item. Other reviewers are correct that it doesn't come with directions, but page 17 of the PDF manual that is linked on Amazon's product page (should be above if you are reading this review)shows the 5 steps needed to square it up. Took me less than 5 minutes. Basically, clamp it down, and loosen the two screws on top until it is square (the manual says to use the miter guage slot to check for square-ness, I used my Swanson Speed Square), then tighten the two screws. You can adjust how tight it clamps to the table by rotating the flip/lock lever until it is as tight as you need. That's it!

Again, for the price I paid, not a bad addition for my 9" band saw. When I get my 14" professional band saw, I'll get a better fence.

Don't buy
Fence was delivered yesterday. No directions on it's use and I can't make it fit securly to the table. I do not recommend it. Will be returning it for credit.

Don't Waste Your Money
Even after shimming this fence and spending a lot of time making adjustments it just doesn't do the job. It does not clamp onto the table tightly and moves when any pressure is applied. You're better off using a peice of scrap wood clamped to the table top. I took the fence to the Delta repair center to see if they could offer advice and they had never even seen this product.

Half-way decent fence for a lackluster band saw
I bought this fence in hopes that it MIGHT improve the performance on my delta 8" band saw. Aside from the face that the band saw is really poorly designed, the fence is just as clumsy a design. It is very stiff to move back and forth on the table and will move unless you tighten it alot. And if you do tighten it alot you have to be Hulk Hogan to push the locking clamp down. It is only about 2" high. However since this is being used on a really bad saw to begin with, how could you possibly expect more. ... Read more
