Very forgiving--quite good bond
This glue's gap-filling foaming action does a great job of compensating for imperfectly straight edges at glue joints, and its strength is quite good--I've laminated a number of slightly warped 1x12's together edge-to-edge, and have yet to have a seam split after clamp removal.

My one complaint against this glue (and this failing is not unique) is that where is foams out of a seam onto adjacent board face, it tends to make the wood "stain repellant," leaving a lighter-staining streak along glue joints, often with a dark line in the center, due to the cured glue itself taking up stain avidly into its open-cell structure once sanded. Dusting lightly pre-stained sawdust onto the uncured glue in poorly appoximated joints helps ameliorate this problem.

Great stuff at a moderate price
I have used several contractor grade glues and this is the best stuff so far. Not near as pricey as Gorilla Glue and works great. Would recommend to anybody.

Pretty Good
This glue is pretty good. I tried it after having two staining projects end up with small white marks in the edges -- it is very difficult to completely clean and sand out the Titebond well enough for stain. This glue appears to be quite strong and accepts stain reasonably well. You still need to sand and smooth out the glue that expands out of the joint. However, if you miss a little bit it is alright. It is also reasonably easy to cleanup with just mineral spirits. For me this product doesn't replace Titebond for general carpentry or for projects that will be painted, however it has my buisiness in the future for stained projects. ... Read more

of " new and exciting" products, but nothung stands up to the
2p 10 glue system!!! as a fast cap distributor we were given sample kits to demo to our customers, my first reaction was, "not another wonder product" but upon my 1st demo i was a changed man! i'am now a firm beliver in this product!!!!! i do truly belive its a wonder product. i've done demo's on woods, plastics and belive it or not stone, and every time the actual product being glued will fail before the glue line(meaning the wood,etc. breaks before the actual spot glued). by my demo's alone i estimate i've sold 8 to 10 2p 10 kits and numerous loose bottles of this amazing adhesive! my moto with 2p 10 is, "if it needs to be glued together 2p 10 is the way to go!!!!!".

Next best thing to a "board stretcher"
Have you decided that super glue is worthless because it sticks only to your fingers and never to the parts you are trying to stick together? Well, I've found that 2P 10 is a super glue that REALLY works! To use the glue, just follow instructions: put glue on one side of the joint, spray activator on the other side and wait until it "flashes off" and then press the joint together and hold for 10 seconds... really! Full strength is achieved in 30 seconds. If your joints don't hold, you are probably not putting on enough of the glue. Apply enough to form a consistant layer on the surface. On porous surfaces such as a wood like oak its best to use the "thick" glue so it doesn't soak in so much that it doesn't hold. The "medium" glue works well on the plastics because it allows a thinner joint. I've used this stuff to fill small cracks and dents in wood too. Just spray the activator on the wood and then dab on a little adhesive, and then give it another spritz of activator. You can repeat the process for larger repairs by alternating activator and glue, letting each layer cure for about 30 seconds. The repair can be scraped or sanded flush in minutes as the cured glue is hard and clear. The "medium" works well in cracks because it flows in, the "thick" works well on the little dents because it can build up thickness. If you aren't getting satisfactory results, try experimenting with a little more glue, because if the 2P 10 doesn't seem to be working, it is probably you, not the glue! ... Read more

For when a clamp is not possible
I have been doing some remodeling which included replacing the kitchen cabinets. The sink base for a corner unit came in pieces. The 45 degree angles of the front face to sides needed to be attached and glue was the only real answer. The sides are essentially MDF with a veneer. This material does not hold fasteners well, nor was it possible to use screws through the front which would have marred the finished look. It was not possible to clamp this assembly in place without extrodinary efforts. A quick setting glue was the answer.

The WW75 multipurpose glue was used to attach the cabinet base to the sidewalls, and then the front to the sidewalls. It was possible to slide the front panel slightly to align everything and then to hold it in place fairly easily until it set up. It was worth the price for this one application, and I have plans for many others.

The glue is somewhat expensive and not available everywhere, but is the answer for some situations when other things just won't work.

All in all, it is one of those tools that when you need it, there is nothing else that will do the job. ... Read more
