A real loser.
Sticks to the wall with so much force that within a short amount of time you are worn out with 98% of the job still unfinished. This product should come with a certificate titled "sucker of the year award"......"purchasers name here". It's a very good idea, but not all good ideas convert into good products, not to mention a very EXPENSIVE not-good product. Think about it. How much would you pay for each of these pieces if purchased separately? You are getting a plastic bucket and lid that looks like a 5 gallon paint bucket, 20 feet of light duty plastic hose, a couple of shop vac type nozzle adapters, and the sanding head. Add it all up. Does it come anywhere close to 50 bucks? Here's a tip to reduce dust: Get a sponge and a bucket of water. Wet the sponge and start smoothing out the drywall. With a little practice you not only can smooth out the rough work, but also do most of the final smoothing too. No dust. Period. I used this product for about 10 minutes, then gave up. $50 bucks divided by 10 minutes. Thats $5.00 a minute.

Should be no stars
As another review said, this is a good idea "with poor execution". I would give it no stars if I could. The unit produces enough suction to allow the sanding head to stick to the wall or even the ceiling. This forces the user to work harder putting more force on the sanding head's handle. Mine broke under use. If you look inside you will see that the handle is attached to the head with just 2 screws, a very weak point, and a design problem. I also had problems with the hoses clogging up with drywall dust. The short hose that sits in the water would almost completly close off, and in the long hose, the dust would build up in all the ribs. After an hour of use, I would have to run water through the hose to clean it out. The situation only got worse if I tried to use it then, the dust would stick to the wet surface. All in all, it added more to the work than it relieved in keeping down the dust.

A GOOD Product...
..which is not to be confused with a GREAT product.If money is no object, I'm sure the Porter Cable sander is superior. However, since buying our first house 3 months ago, money most certainly IS an object-one I see precious little of and seem to be endlessly stuffing in envelopes and mailing off to various banks, contractors and utility companies.
With that said, the S&K is a fairly effective product. Their claim that it 'eliminates 95%' of the dust is probably pretty accurate and, while it's somewhat clumsy at first, soon you'll be humming along. In fact, it's been suggested to me that perhaps I'M the clumsy element in the equation.The whistling sound that others mentioned in their reviews was so easy to remedy it hardly warrants mention. For fifty clams you won't do better.

Where can I get the rest.
Where can I get the long pole sander to go with this item -- you only solved part of the problem with the hand sander -- I need to work on the ceilings, too.

I purchased my MT800 basically to reduce the dust problem associated with sanding drywall compound. Yes it does at times produce a "whistling" noise and if not properly adjusted it does have enough suction to hold the sanding head to the wall making it very difficult to use. But I must say that it does reduce airborne dust. It comes with two vac adapters and the 20ft. hose allows decent mobility even on 9ft. ceilings. I use mine with hearing protection (since shop vacs are not very quiet) and tinker with the suction adjustment until I can sand without too much effort. I am by no means an expert at drywall but I've learned that with practice in applying drywall compound, the right drywall knives, and learning how to use the MT800 (as well as understanding the tool's limitations), it is a useful tool giving most DIY'ers decent results. ... Excellent Value : Does what it's designed to 100%
I pointed out a few things that were not right with and could be improved upon when I reviewed the Black&Decker BDL110S BullsEye Laser level Stud Sensor and it was refresing to find this little wonder that seems to have gotten everything right compared to the overpriced Black&Decker tool.

For starters, it's not a combo, there is no stud finder in it, so it's not bulky and it can fire the laser at any angle that you choose in addition to the obvious horizontal and vertical angles. It has bubble vials for both level & plumb. The laser can be adjusted for distance either short and bright or long with a slight loss in brightness, if you are close to the corner, it will even get the laser straight line onto the adjacent wall.

Make sure you really need this
Be aware that many of the items in this set are duplicates of each other. Also, there are only two nutdrivers. The screw guide is good, and it's smaller and easier to use than the one sold separately. Certainly, the quality seems excellent. But really think carefully about whether the two tips included with the screwdriver itself aren't sufficient, because this set just doesn't add that much.

Finally, a hammer to replace my old Bluegrass framing hammer
I've used a 20 oz. Belknap Bluegrass framing hammer for 25+ years but have been unable to find an octagon replacement handle like the original. I've tried a few different brands of hammers to replace it but have been disappointed.

I recently purchased a Douglas 20 oz. framing hammer and am amazed. Great balance and feel. I won't miss my Bluegrass 20 oz. any more, though I still use my 16 oz. for finish work, siding, etc.

I can't recommend the Douglas framing hammer enough... Great hammer, worth every penny.

Nice Hammer
I missed out on the original Hart Woody, but when Douglas (Coonran) won back his patent rights and started producing an updated model, I picked up the 18 oz finish and 20 oz finish and framing hammers.

After a couple of decks plus some interior framing, I can say that the hammer works as advertised. Traction face is about as effective as a waffle pattern and leaves fewer tracks, handle stays tight.

The only beef I have is that the company making the handles could do just a bit more work to lose the routed edges. ... Read more

Fantastic Lightweight Hammer
I recently re-ordered this hammer (my first one rode home with someone I don't know). I liked that one so much, I had to get another. I am a west coast Union carpenter, and Ti hammers are seen more and more often on job sites these days. I had to go back to an old 25 oz. hammer after my last Stilletto was stolen, and WOW, what a difference! I chose this hammer for many reasons, but here are a few you might consider: 1) it's light weight will save your body from wear and tear, 2) the smooth face, combined with the weight allow this hammer to be used for finish work, as well as framing (and it won't mash your fingers), 3) that magnetic nail holder comes in very handy and 4)I mean, come on, Titanium...it's just so cool. The only drawback to this hammer is it's tendency to ring like a tuning fork. You might find yourself reaching for earplugs if you don't already wear them. Other than that, it's simply a shame to think that you'll be using this beautiful tool in a manner that will (hopefully after many, many years) leave it worn and scarred. But when that time comes, at least you'll still be able to move your arm without pain.

i have used this hammer for over a year now . it is the best hammer i have ever used . after a long day of driving 16d sinkers my hands don't ack all night long . i have the poly/fiberglass handle on my big nail driver.
