5-0 out of 5 stars Traffic Collision Investigators -- you need this!
The Machlanburg-Duncan 92346 SmartTool Module Only is an excellent, handy tool for determining grades to add or subtract to speed/velocity formulas that require this information. The module is small so it is easily portable. If I can avoid all those formula conversions to get % to degrees and vice versa...trust me...I will do it! This is one of the best tools in my t/c tool chest!

5-0 out of 5 stars Why measuring angles digitally is better!
The Macklanburg-Duncan 92346 SmartTool Angle Finder is only 6 inches long, which allows it to be used in small places. You can get the angle reading even when you have placed the tool in a position where you can not read the display. You simple place the tool in position and press the Hold button, then remove the tool and read the display. The digital readout is easy to read and is accurate to 1/10 of a degree. With an analog angle finder the best you could hope for is plus or minus 1 degree and it would not be able to be used in the above situation. If you need to measure a long object, you can mount the SmartTool Angle Finder in a Macklanburg-Duncan brand 6000/6500 level. On top of all this it is weather and water-resistant. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Industry (Trade) standard
pretty much the standard now if you look around job sites. Now I know why. Very good investment.

5-0 out of 5 stars Simply ingenious!
This is the best, least labor intensive and most reasonably priced scaffolding system I have used. To get up 48 feet(max)5-6 stories, with a 20 foot width span, took me 20 minutes- to erect and pump up the two of us and 300 pounds of shingles. Think of the area (1,000 square feet!) you can work before you need to dismantle and move. And we often find it faster to wind down and pump back up for resupplying stock. My one recommendation is that even the 24 foot pole length should require an extra hand erecting. Very safe, secure and nicely made. Smooth as a baby's ... for increased flexibility, I would also recommend jumping in and getting the 12 foot poles right away.

5-0 out of 5 stars What a piece of machinery!!
Well what can I say? This scaffolding is just incredible in its durability and reliability.

I suggest you go out an buy some for yourself not later but NOW!!!! ... Read more

This tool makes humans as close to foolproof as we can get, at least when it comes to measuring, cutting and installing trim without a flaw. We love that it’s a solid piece, with nothing adjustable on it, so you know its 45- and 90-degree angles are always true. It takes the gymnastics out of measuring, too, whether screwed to your workbench or temporarily tacked to the working wall with 6d finish nails, because of the built-in tape measure hooks. Even tricky inside-to-inside miters are a snap. Perfect 3/16-inch reveals on windows and door jambs are guaranteed every time: Just line it up and draw your guide with the pencil holes. Though it’s marketed for casements, we’d keep it in the toolbox for all kinds of jobs. Imagine installing baseboard up to door trim and lining up the Trim Loc for a perfect cutline every time. We think it’d be the perfect gauge for squaring saw blades, too. This little tool will save you time, money and lots of frustration.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Handy
This is handy especially if you work alone. Makes trim installation easier after you become familiar with it. Beware that the older model was made from quality aluminium and this is now a cheap plastic.

5-0 out of 5 stars My, how revealing.
I grabbed one of these at a home center a while back. I was at first impressed by the look and feel of it. I have used it when installing trim, building cabinets, and doing layout. I genuinely find the tape measure slots handy because I do most of my work alone and find it difficult to accurately span a six foot opening wihout a lot of cuss'n, spitt'n and chew'n. Also, I think the orange color compliments my yellow tools.

5-0 out of 5 stars It is a lot more substantially made than it appears
When I ordered the Trim Loc Casement tool, I thought it would be a flimsy lightweight unit. I was surprised when I received it that it was built out of such thick aluminum. It is protected with a baked on finish that should last. It is one of those simple tools that give you big consistent results. Trying to eyeball the casement trim offset won't give you the consistent professional results of this tool.
I have several Bench Dog tools, and not one of them is less than best in class. They are decorated in many woodworking reviews, and this one deserves five stars. Highly recommended.

5-0 out of 5 stars Saves time, increases accuracy
I don't necessarily care about some of the features of this tool but for the one main thing it does it has become a "must" in my toolbox. It quickly and precisely locates casement trim when installing, making the job go more quickly and giving me more consistent reveals. Anything else it does is gravy.

5-0 out of 5 stars JohnnyTcarpenter

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Product
After reading the various other reviews I first contacted the Werner company and was informed that they no longer have a 16 ft 300 lb rated ladder. One of my neighbors has an articulated ladder from another company and noted that on one occasion he almost suffered an injury due to the locks not being fully engaged. The ClimbTek ladder lock system is better designed. An excellent choice given the nominal cost and at the time I ordered, free shipping.

5-0 out of 5 stars great buy for the price and quality
I found out about this climbtek ladder while searching for articulating ladder when I was always finding werner brand. I weight 160 pounds and 5'9" tall and can carry the ladder in folded position just by one hand. Its easy to manage and work with. you can pull the lever by one hand and 'click' works fine. The square steps provides secure standing. The only problem is does not lock in folded/storage position but that's ok. and yes this is the 300# while the werner is only 250#

strongly recommend to buy this if you can afford it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice ladder
I've gotten more use from this ladder than I had expected, including as a scaffold. Even when not in use as a ladder, I put it into the M shape with the center hinge unlocked and use it to store lumber in the garage. It's nice and sturdy, but my only complaints are that it's a bit heavy, I wish it included a stabilizer on the other end (for when its used as a scaffold and to go around windows as a ladder), and the scaffold platform boards. I use a hand truck to move it around while it's folded.

4-0 out of 5 stars Best Articulating Ladder
I compared this ladder to a copy at Home Depot. The Home Depot 16 ft model cost [money amount] + tax. The construction was not nearly as good, it had a two hand release (compared to one hand for Climbtek) for the articulations and was rated at 250 lbs. (compared to 300 for Climbtek). The ClimbTek costs a little more, but is a much better value.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best articulating ladder out there
This is the BEST folding ladder out there. Just the 1 handed release is enough to earn your purchase. I bought this when it was sold by Krause as a Multimatic (Krause went out of business...must have sold the patent) and use it all the time. This is pricier than the Krause, but NOT double! It is only 33% more than what I paid for it in 1996. The other reviewer must be comparing it to the smaller 12' Krause.

This is MUCH better than [my local store's]import. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The REAL hammer
My first titanium hammer mushroomed out.The second with it's supposed "steel face" mushroomed too.I said:"why not" and broke down for the big money. My friends you won't be dissapointed with this hammer.I consider myself an expert nail pounder and this thing is great on framing and formwork. The switchable steel drivers are a boon to the industry.A truly pro. hammer.

5-0 out of 5 stars not quite sure
Ive heard the ti-bone is one bad rig...My Hart rig is begining to take a toll on my wrist and fingers...Is the ti-bone worth the investment?...All question's no one can answer for me...I dont know anyone who owns one, I cant take a swing to see if its going to make a difference...Please someone, give me some advice....It looks so appealing.

5-0 out of 5 stars The perfect blend
I bought this hammer after having used a wooden handled titanium
hammer for about 3 years. This hammer is slightly heavier than the wooden handled models but still lighter than the 21 oz. and 24 oz. hammers that I had used before the titaniums. This gives it a bit of an advantage in actual nail beating over the wooden handled titaniums. But it still is light enough to efficently drive nails in tight spots which is one of the advantages of the light hammers that I never hear anyone talk about. The only knock against this hammer that I can see is the open head doesn't allow you to drive nails with the head sideways like you would have to do in really tight spots. I guess thats what I've got one of those air palm nailers for. Some would say that the price is a knock but if you make a living with your hammer, not to mention that this hammer should last forever I'd say it's worth it.

5-0 out of 5 stars This hammer is the best!
I first had my hands on this hammer two weeks ago. I was nailing some 2x6s to a I beam when this o`boy said to try this hammer of mine and see what you think. so i did and i feel in love the first swing. I did`nt want to give it back to him. The nail set worked so good that i had to use it all the time. I tell you it is the best. GET ONE FOR YOURSELF YOU WILL LOVE IT TOO! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars They Have a Point -- Literally!
I did quite a bit of research looking for a clamping system for picture frames. Time and again I came back to Ulmia and decided to give them a try. They look good but simply do not work on the woods I tested them on: maple, oak, pine, purple heart and cherry. The springs have nail-sharp points on them that, when clamped with the lightest pressure I could and still hold the mitre, punched varying holes and gouges in the wood. I even tried one on the nice wooden box they were shipped in and it dug into the side. (Did the return department notice that?)

I'm not sure what application one would use where gouging the wood is an acceptable part of clamping. For me, the Ulmia design is "Duh!" What do you get when you press sharp, hardened steel into wood? I should have figured that one out before wasting the time buying and returning it.

5-0 out of 5 stars A MUST
Since I purchased a set of Miter Clamps I have never looked back. They are an absolute must for any body doing base board, crown moulding shoe moulding etc. They are perfect for finished work, just glue and clamp no nails necessary. I have recommended Miter Clamps to anybody I know in the same scope of work as me. From my recommendations to the rest of the people in my company several have purchased the clamps and have found them a hugh success. There are other brands on the market, but trust me "Ulmia 560-3250 miter Clamp" are the best! ... Read more

We can't think of anything we'd want to add to this little hummer. It's incredible what B&D has engineered into this system (we don't think it's fair to call it a "screwdriver"). The 5-foot tape measure fits on board, or you can remove it for separate use. Dual speed range lets you drill holes at high speed and drive screws at the slower speed. A 23-position clutch, just like what's on the big boys, will keep you from stripping your screws. But get this: Unlike conventional cordless screwdrivers and regular power drills, this tool's handle easily locks in three positions for tight areas and awkward spots. Genius! And just like the "real" drills, this one's got an accessible forward/reverse rocker switch for backing screws out, too. Here's something, though, that the big-boy drill makers should pick up: It's got on integrated light so you can always see your work surface clearly. For the money, we haven't seen anything like it. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

  • On-board bit storage conveniently holds a 1/16" pilot bit and double-ended screwdriving bit
  • 6-volt drill and screwdriver, tape measure, light, and more in one convenient cordless tool

  • 3-position pivoting action for maximum flexibility and versatility in tight areas
  • Integrated light with separate on/off switch illuminates dark work areas

5-0 out of 5 stars Keyless Chuck
I love the rechargeable aspect of the tool. It's so light and easy to work with. The only thing missing is a keyless chuck so steel grinders can be used with it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Feature Packed for Under $30!!!
This is the best *cheap* cordless screwdriver I have ever used. The ergonomics of this driver feels good in the hand. Plenty of power and charge in the 6V battery. The clutch eliminates the problem of overtightening and the drill speed is great for quick pilot holes. The two bit holders and LED light really add to the convenience. I haven't used the tape, which is pretty cheesy, but I imagine it could come in hand for a quick measurement. The only have two complaints, but for less than $30 they really don't matter... 1) Should have a LED to indicate that it is charging, 2) Wish the battery was replacable. For the money, this is an indispensible gadget.

5-0 out of 5 stars Strong screwdriver
I have been very pleased with this screwdriver ~ it is strong. I have two along with three of the 3.6 volt B&D drivers and use the 6 volt for larger, more demanding jobs (i.e. book shelf projects, etc.). It is handy because it can be set in several different positions. It is good looking (I like macho looking tools) and it is very handy. Mine all hold good, long charges but then I am used to handling Nicad batteries because I build and fly a lot of radio control planes and you have got to know how to keep your batteries healthy or your plane becomes a "kit" again. I have just ordered a third 6 volt. I also collect tools and believe that you never have enough.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great little screwdriver
Purchased this as a Christmas present for my wife and have been installing blinds ever since. While it's not intended to take the place of an 18 volt drill, it does a great job screwing and unscrewing. The forward, reverse rocker switch is more convient than others that we have used and the angles are handy. I would not recommend it as a replacement for the DeWalt heavy duty cordless screwdriver (my favorite), but it's lighter and 1/3 the price. Well worth the money....

4-0 out of 5 stars Great All Around Screwdriver
It does everything as advertised.

Pros: different torque settings, 2 drive speeds, small LED light, pivot point, overall "feel".

Cons: drilling is only for light duty jobs (otherwise get a real drill), charging time takes too long. connection for the charger plug is right in the pivot point and it doesn't let you use it while plugged in.

Other than the charging issues(that's why I won't give it 5 stars) but it's a great tool at a decent price. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best
It took a little research to figure out that there are a couple of levels of quality that Starrett manufactures in these tools. This is the better 434 series - the square heads and center heads are forged, hardened steel with smooth, black enamel finish, vice the cast iron heads of the 435 series. This version also has the chrome satin rule, which is nice, too.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Combination Set
This is *the* top of the line when it comes to combination sets. It is perfectly accurate and easy to read. It will provide many decades of service. The only fault I see is that the set doesn't come with a case.

5-0 out of 5 stars High Quality Precision
This is a very high quality precision instrument that will
provide years of reliable service. It has very well defined,
clearly legible, engraved markings as fine as 1/64".
I used one extensively years ago and took the quality granted.
The past few years I've been purchasing and using lower cost
competitor's models. (Bad decision) It's not that the other
models are vastly inferior, because generally, they're fairly close.
If you don't use a tool like this very often, you may not notice the difference.
Even if you do, it may take a while to notice the true benefits.
The precision and accuracy help minimize the small, cumulative errors that
build up and finally reveal themselves late in the assembly process.
This is an investment in error avoidance.
To me, that's worth every penny.

5-0 out of 5 stars excellent product but where is the case
I have a Mitutoyo set that I have been using for 5 years and thought there was none better out there.I ordered the Starret set for work and when it arrived I was impressed and I immediately began checking it out against the highest accuracy precission ground square and the square head and the protractor(set at 90) where dead on. This is a great tool! My only gripe is that it came in a cardboard box. Doesn't a great tool deserve a great case? I guess Starret doesn't think so and now I will spend a good couple of days building it a proper home. Come on... would a nice wooden box have added that much to the price?

5-0 out of 5 stars perfection
If you want the best - this is it. I've worked machine shop and layout work in the plant where I've been employed the last 27 years, and I've found that if a combination set isn't made by Brown & Sharp or Starrett, it probably isn't accurate. You may think that a tool of this price and caliber is not suited for woodworking, but that's not true. I use one in my wood shop at home and wouldn't be without it. This particular model has the satin chrome finish on the blade, which isn't prone to rust, tarnish, or discoloration. It also has the reversing protractor which is a big help in laying out angles. It is especially useful in laying out miters and compound miters on structural material ( 2x4's, etc.). Buy one, learn to use it correctly, take care of it, and it will last you a lifetime - it's worth every penny of the purchase price. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Starrett Combination Square
The mating of a ruler with a sliding head makes the combination square one of the more versatile measuring tools in the shop. Its weakness lies in the fact the head is not rigidly attached to the blade. Overcoming this weakness requires precision machining that's time-consuming and expensive. That's why the Starret costs about seven times as much as the common hardware-store versions while seemingly providing only a small increment of improvement. I've used the cheaper ones made by Stanley and others, and most of the time they do the job adequately. If one doesn't plan on doing precision work, paying more for the Starrett doesn't make any sense. For those who do, however, the Starrett is worth the investment. That increment of improvement buys a tool that provides confidence in the accuracy of one's measurements. And it's a tool for a lifetime. I've know at least one person who's using one that his grandfather left him.

Assessing a tool on a sensual basis may seem daft, but the Starret feels like a fine scientific instrument compared to the slop and imprecision of the cheaper squares. When the locknut is lightly tightened there's no play between the head and the blade. The head slides on the blade without binding, and the graduations are clean, precise, and easily visible.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cheap Tools are a Waste of Money - Starrett is the Best
A coworker that said that to me once. He was right. This is the original combination square and, as far as I am concerned, the very best. I have a new C33 set and one that belonged to my grandfather (it's about 80 years old). I checked the scales and squareness against each other - perfect match. Starrett quality control is flawless. This one (the C33) is the forged steel head. I would generally recommend it over the slightly cheaper cast head (the C11), since the forged steel is a fair amount tougher - less brittle. The glossy paint is the indicator that you are getting the forged head. The cast head is done in crinkle black. Mr. Zorns' comment (see previous review) tells me that the description is correct - smooth paint = forged head. And, by the way, I would always get the model that starts with "C" - that means satin chrome finish on the blade - very, very important. As a woodworker, a combination square is an essential tool that gets used constantly. Accuracy and durability are very important. At this price, it's a bargain. Don't waste your money on cheap tools - buy Starrett and you'll never regret it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Quality all the Way
I have owned this item for years and its quality, fit and finish are unparalled. Adjustment of the sliding head is easy and it stays where you set it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Suberb tool
This is a great square. Absolutely no flaws. You can't go wrong with this tool

5-0 out of 5 stars Reference tool
I have been making furniture as a hobby for some years now and I discovered very early that practically ALL woodworking tools came as a project, not as a finished product. That is to say that most tools need to be sharpened or adjusted or tuned, etc. Starrett tools are the exception, my square came out of the box perfectly square and functioning flawlessly. That is the very reason why I purchased this tool. I use it to adjust and tune and square all those OTHER tools! Every serious shop needs a few very good reference tools, this is one. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing clamps!
As of writing, I have only had my Quik-Grip clamps a single day, but I already absolutely love them! They are easily set up with only one hand, which is really convenient when clamping down a homemade fence for a router table, or anthing else that reguires the other hand to hold your workpiece down.
This package of clamps is a very good deal too. Ratcheting hand clamps are usually very expensive (the price of the two largest clamps from a home center is about the same as this entire package!). The description says you get 2 2" smaller clamps as well. I got 4! I don't know if this an error, but I'm not complaining!
Ratchet clamps, although expensive, are totally amazing. They are especially handy for sanding and routing, where vibration can undo screws. This package is a great deal and I haven't ruled out buying another set. These things are total time savers.
(And, if you ever get really bored, you can race them! We actually used to do that in my shop class!)

5-0 out of 5 stars Addictive!
Once you start using these Quick-Grip clamps you will think that all other clamps are obsolete. They supply all the power you can possibly need and are so much quicker on and off that repositioning them is a snap. They take a lot of the "stress" out of having to race to get your glue-up clamped. As soon as I finished using them the 1st time I ordered more. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Oh, baby. Now this is a hammer. A magnificent 17 inches from head to toe, this tool with its ergonomic, patent-pending handle just begs to be gripped. The wallop you deliver with this beauty is easily on par with that of a 24-ounce steel hammer, but you'll be swinging this one long after everybody else gives up. Titanium is the key--lightweight, but virtually indestructible. A twist of the Allen wrench, and you can change out the milled waffle head for a smooth face, but either way, the magnetic nail starter will come in handy. Okay, yes, that's three digits between the dollar sign and the decimal point, but in this case, you get what you pay for. This hammer's primo. Use it and you'll toss the rest. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars What A Hammer
This is by far the best hammer on the market and it is so easy to swing it. I can swing and use it all day and my arm never gets tired. I have many other hammers i could use at work but i always make sure that this one is in my toolbelt and the only one i reach for now i highly recomend it.

5-0 out of 5 stars the only hammer to own if you are a pro
I've been a pro carpenter for more than 20 years. I have had scads of hammers over those years from estwing (ouch my elbow) to 32 oz. vaugns to all sorts of other designs. Since i have gotten the tibone, there will never be another hammer for me. I am ordering another one today for some one on my crew and that will make three in our company. Others will get them too I am sure.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellant hammer
If you make your living framing this is the hammer to have. I like the all metal frame becuase you can pull nails and pry stuff apart without breaking the handle. I had a Stilleto wood handle but if you pull nails or pry very much the wood handle will eventually break. I know it costs a lot but I think it is worth it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Boss of All
This is one excellent piece of work. It is very high dollar but I bit the bullet because of some wrist and hand problems I started to have. SInce this is my livlehood and I have a family to support, I could not afford to come down with any career threatening injuries, ones that I could realistically avoid anyway. I have the yelow handle, ax style version and I love it. This company needs to make a smaller version for remolding but I'm in to them now with this one and won't be buying anymore hammers EVER. The price is the one reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars but if you can "swing it", this hammer is worth the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars I Love This Hammer
I realize most people wouldn't buy this hammer because of it's cost. I got mine as a gift. After using it for the last few months, I would buy one in a heartbeat. I have read a few people talk about the hammer being as expensive as a nailgun and that is true. Everyone has their priorities though. Mine happens to be staying healthy and this hammer will help. I would like my body to age well :-)

I can justify this hammer a million ways. Here is what I love about the hammer for those who are reading this review to find out about the hammer and not my justifications.

1) It's light. I don't have extra weight in my nail bags. I was amazed at how much lighter my bags felt. I used a 24oz Dalluge axe handled hammer that I loved. I don't get tired hand nailing. My wrist never hurts and neither does my elbow.
2)The grip is very comfortable. I had ordered the axe handled version but got the straight handle by accident. I'm glad I got it. I love this handle better.
3)Length of the hammer. I like a hammer that is "taller". I've heard that Stilleto is coming out with a "shorter" version, but I like the length of this hammer
4)You can replace the face. You can replace the face when it gets worn or you can put a smooth face on it.
5)Won't break any handles.

I love this hammer. You will NOT regret buying this hammer.

By the way, I can still sink a 16d in one strike, so don't let anyone tell you a light hammer is for girls or that it can't drive as well as a heavier hammer. I would last longer against a guy with a heavy hammer and still sink 'em in one. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Out of the box, this little ladder doesn't look like it's going anywhere. But start telescoping it and you almost can't believe your eyes. It extends to 12-1/2 feet from its closed height of 2-1/2 feet; plus, you can use the ladder in any of its 1-foot increments. Stainless-steel spring-loaded bolts inside the rungs lock into place as you extend the ladder. The rungs are made of processed aluminum, and serrated treads feel strong and secure under your feet. When you're done, you just tug on the locking rings, collapse the rungs down, and walk away with a 2-1/2-foot, 23-pound ladder under one arm. It takes virtually no space to store--put it under a bed, in a closet, in a car trunk--and totes anywhere. Clever as can be. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Very handy ladder
We use this for satellite dish installation, and we are very pleased with its quality and durability. First we used the 10.5" version. However, we find the 12.5" version more useful. We highly recommend it to all of our dish installers. This is a light weight and easy to store ladder. No need to haul around long big ladders anymore. This will do for 90% of the jobs. Best regards Sadoun Satellite Sales

4-0 out of 5 stars Quality ladder in every way--But FOLLOW the instructions!
Like one of the reviews posted previously, I use the TeleSteps ladder for inspection. In that regard, it really has no equal; when it's all knocked down it is the smallest possible package in a quality ladder. When set up, it's a genuinely good 12 and 1/2 foot ladder. It's very light, sturdy and both well-thought out and made with a high degree of manufacturing quality.

Having said that, I will mirror what other reviewer state: If you don't read AND FOLLOW the instructions, you can/will find yourself in a bad place in a hurry. You must always start unstowing the ladder FROM the bottom, not the top (yes, they say you can start at the top if you're deploying it to the maximum extension. But I'd err on the side of conservative with this ladder). And at each rung, as you're raising it, two little detents pop into place. You must make ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that these two little detents are LOCKED. Honestly, it might add up to a total of one whopping minute to make certain this is done, so in my opinion it's totally worth the time to ascertain that they have done so. If you do this, this is one nice ladder. If you get in a hurry, you may be in for a surprise. After reading the one reviewer that took a spill, I've gotten into the habit of double checking every detent, just to be sure.
If I had any suggestion for the Swedish manufacturer, it would be to somehow make the detents a bright safety red or something that would be visible, only when they're safely locked, so a user could easily see that the detents are adequately locked.
It's genuinely as 'high tech' a ladder as you can get and an godsend for inspection purposes. I can easily put it in the trunk of any car and the ability to selectively determine height is a handy feature. Highly recommended, extremely well made, but more than most products, one that absolutely requires you to read and follow the instructions.

5-0 out of 5 stars Dreams do come true
A a building inspector I enter beautiful homes on a daily basis. This compact ladder permits me to take a clean ladder into the home for access to attic spaces and other areas. Stored inside my work vehicle there is no dirt to apologize for. Also I save time. I no longer have to tie a long cumbersome ladder to the roof of my vehicle. Compact, fast, lightweight and clean. The Telesteps telescoping ladder is all of these. Plus, it is one of the highest quality tools that I own. My only wish is that it was available in 16 foot length.

3-0 out of 5 stars USE WITH CAUTION
This is a great tool for limited applications. 1st - I wouldn't put more than about 200 lbs on it. 2nd - it is fine to get yourself onto a roof or into an attic, but it is not solid enough to work from. 3rd - you must follow the instructions in opening it, especially being sure that every section locks in place, or it will collapse under you (I've heard several stories of this happening). 4th - keep it well lubricated with silicone spray (I carry a silicone spray can with the ladder at all times). I have used it satisfactorily for about three years. If you recognize its limits and are willing to work within them, the ladder is very useful. If you expect more from it, you will be disappointed and could get hurt.

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing
The best part of this ladder is how easy it is to get into tight spots. The second great thing is how peaple react to seeing me set it up. I would note that my model 106 10.5 foot ladder is most stable with a weight no greater than 180lb when fully extended. ... Read more
