4-0 out of 5 stars scaffolking
Very nice product to work with. Very sturdy and you can set it to exactly the height you want it to. My only problem is that it takes two people to set it up, or to adjust the height.

5-0 out of 5 stars Baker type scaffolding is very conveinient
Carry in as small as a car or mini van because very compact when flat, one person set up in 3 minutes. Rolls through man doors when set up. It's just all around conveinient to use for relatively low appplications, but can stack up to 3 high when out riggers are used(maximum 18' tall). Which is why I'm back at Amazon...I don't think they carry the out riggers. Also available in 8 and 10 foot lengths. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Hope you don't need parts
This is a reasonably nice product with abysmal documentation. I've used it with several different materials with success.

However, I'm preparing to spray some waterborne lacquer and the product manufacturer suggested a 1mm tip diameter. So I went looking for one.

I spent a half hour searching the documentation and Wagner's multiple web sites for replacement tips. The standard tip is a #3, so a reasonable person would think there must be a #1 and #2, but noooo, #3 is it. Not only that, a replacement #3 tip is $32 and the air cap is $59! Not surprising I suppose when they charge $1.99 for a 5-cent lock washer.

I'm retired from aerospace and a $600 toilet seat is looking like a real bargain.

If it weren't for the aforementioned problems, I would probably give this unit 4 or 5 stars.

4-0 out of 5 stars excellent performance at a fair price
I should have purchased a sprayer years ago! I used to dread painting-especially intricate things like picket fences or railings. But this sprayer is convenient to use and easy to clean. I can now paint a 6-panel door in under 5 minutes when it used to take me 15-20 minutes with a brush. And I can clean up the sprayer faster than I could clean a roller or brush! Since it is an HVLP sprayer, overspray is very minimal compared to high pressure sprayers-minimal paint cloud. Plus it is quieter than my compressor. Wagner makes some smaller and cheaper HVLP sprayers that would probably be adequate for spraying stains and laquers, but for spraying latex paint I would get this model (paint still should be thinned). My only complaint is that the power cord is too short-only 6 ft. 10-12 feet would be much better for reaching outlets higher up on a wall. If you can afford it, get this machine-it makes painting easy, fast, and enjoyable when you see the smooth results.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wagner 2600 Softspray review
I have been using the 2600 for a bunk bed project and have been extremely satisfied. It is very easy to use, adjust and clean. I have been using a water-based top coat and have not had to thin. The 2600 cleans up very quickly and reassembles easily (my 8 year son can put it back together). I have been getting a great finish. Doing four head boards by hand would have taken forever but this product has has made the project go much faster and easier. I am very happy with this product.

4-0 out of 5 stars Wagner 2600 gets a "Best Buy" rating
If you are looking for more information about HVLP sprayers, the July 2003 issue of American Woodworker has a product review of these tools. The bottom line? They rated the Wagner 2600 as the "Best Buy" of the 22 HVLP sprayers they looked at. See the article for details about why.

The same issue of AW also has an article on HVLP spray techniques. So when you find the owner's manual for the Wagner to be a little lacking on which gun adjustments to change for a particular spray problem, you can turn to this article for answers.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very good product
After checking out several models of HVLP sprayers I chose to go with the Wagner, I was not disapointed. The unit is not as loud as I thought it might be. The spraygun seems very well made and adjusts easly. The hose is light and easy to manage. The only disapointment is the manual. It tells you all the adjustments but not how to use them. No examples of what you should adj for which problems. Had the manual been better I would have given it a 5 star rating. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars multi use ladder
I was using this import ladder on a platform when the lock on one side failed. I am only 170lbs. My paint and me went everywhere. Do yourself a favor and get the u.s. made ladder. I did and now I am happy - the US made ladder is a great product.

4-0 out of 5 stars Happy with ladder
This seems like a strong, versatile ladder. I moved into a new place and needed a tall ladder for outdoors and a short ladder for indoor use. This ladder can do both. The instruction sheet says ANSI type 2 duty rating, 225 LB Working Load and EN-131 Maximum Permissable Load 330 LBS. I have seen more expensive ladders in the store rated for less weight, and they were not adjustable. As others have said, the instructions are not great, but using the ladder is much easier than the instructions make it out to be. Just follow your common sense. The moving parts are quite self-explanatory.

4-0 out of 5 stars Cosco ladder great for condo owners
I own a condo with nine foot ceilings so I needed a ladder to safely reach that high to replace lightbulbs. My condo has very limited storage space so I needed a ladder that would fit in a closet. The Cosco fills both these needs well. It looks complicated to set up at first, but the instructions and included video make it real easy. The ladder is rather heavy, but that proves to be a benefit since it feels very safe and solid when climbing on it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great ladder
This ladder is awesome! It might take a minute to figure out how to set it up in all its functions, but it's well worth the time. This ladder is very sturdy, heavy enough to keep from wobbling, but light enough that I can carry it around (I'm not the strongest girl). I live in an apartment with high ceilings, and it's perfect for getting to a ceiling fan or above the cabinets. I would recommend it without hesitation. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars paint this
I bought this unit reconditioned for...including shipping. When it came in it looked brand new with a new hose and gun; I think someone bought it used it once and then returned it.
Putting it together was pretty easy just the handle, pail hanger, gun and hose and the suction and return tubes. It took longer to find the correct wrench than it did to put it together. The instructions in the manual are a little difficult to understand for someone new like me that hates painting, but after 2 or 3 times I finally got it. Priming the unit is easy just put the bucket under the intake tube turn the dial to prime and turn it on till you see paint running back into the bucket from the return tube. Then flip the dial to spray and you are ready to go. There is a pressure dial down on the side if you are spraying Latex run it up to maximum and you are ready to let fly. Make sure you have a big hat goggles and a mask because the worst part of this process especially in a small room is the "FOG" I used a garbage bag (extra large) cut a hole in the top and some arm holes; cheap easy and disposable and fired it up. It took me a little bit of time to get used to spraying and how it would work but once I did, it was the about as fast as I could move, I painted a 220 sq ft room with 2 closets all with 8 foot ceilings and also 2 ceilings in an ajoining bathroom in a matter of minutes. This thing can lay down some serious work very very quickly and the coverage was much better than a roller or brush just have someone watch you and if you do miss a little spot just have them point. You will need lots of light we painted at night and it was hard to see. I would guess you could paint a garage wall 20x8 in under a minute. It took longer to use 1 gallon cans (stirring and repriming) so I would recommend 5 gallon buckets if possible. Cleanup is pretty easy put the intake tube in a bucket of clean water and the return tube back in the paint can and set it to prime and turn it on just for a little while until the paint starts to turn clear maybe 10 seconds or so total then put the return tube back in the water bucket with clean water reprime it. Take the tip off of the gun and throw it in a bowl of water set it to spray put the gun at the edge of the paint can/bucket and turn it on to spray the paint back in the bucket until it starts to get clear then put the gun in a big sink and pump some water through the hose for a few minutes. Then pull the filter out of the gun and brush it, I used an old tooth brush clean it up. Then clean up the dust and any spills and reassemble and you are done. Oh yeah also pull the intake tube off and plug it with the attached plug after cleaning. Also put a few drops of the separating oil in the top oil hole not too much or it will leak all over the place. Overall if you have some painting to do this unit will do it; don't waste your money on the small little hand held units I did that a few years ago and it was a waste of...bucks. There are also accesories for this unit, for an 8 foot ceiling just stick your hand up and keep it moving if you have a tall ceiling look into the 6 foot extension.

1-0 out of 5 stars Sprayer unacceptable
The sprayer was received in such a condition that I could not accept it. The box had been opened, repaired in two places and patched in a third place.

5-0 out of 5 stars top notch sprayer
I recently purchased a Wagner 9150 sprayer from Toolcrib. When it arrived I put it to work the next day. I was able to stain a 1500 sq ft deck with 2 coats in 2 days. Three years ago I had the same deck stained by a painter and the cost was $400 dollars for labor alone. The first job I did payed for the sprayer. It is easy to adjust and use and cleanup is a breeze. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars planes & chisel sharpening
I purchased this item to sharpen woodworking planes and chisels. Good quality item. Works just as advertised. The larger size allows me to use a Veritas roller jig to keep the blade angle steady (although the jig is not worth the money for other reasons). Water wash off and easy cleaning. The plastic base is worth the extra money IMHO, but the antistick plastic mat works pretty well.

I also used the "scary sharp" system to put a razor sharp edge on the blades. This is a automotive sandpaper on flat plate glass. The DMT fine whetstone is about a 15 micron equivalent where the "sandpaper" goes down to 0.5 micron. The chisel edge shines like a mirror.

My only disappointment was in flattening the backs of old chisels. A coarser grade of diamond is needed for this higher metal removal technique. I tried coarse grade sandpaper, but it wore out quickly. The finer sandpaper grades do not because they only recieve 5-10 strokes after the diamond stone.

For knives and general sharpening utensils, this diamond plate is great. For woodworking, I would buy the coarse / x-fine combination whetstone. Use the coarse side for the one time flattening and the fine or x-fine side for the intermediate surface grinding. Keep one 9"x12" glass plate of really fine micron sandpaper for the final polish.

5-0 out of 5 stars Stop the presses!
I have used various stones for sharpening knives for (too) many years. In fact, I have reviewed two of them here on Amazon.com. I stand by my positive reviews of the stones, but this 4x10 diamond stone takes it all to a new level. I wanted to try the latest in whetstones, and this one caught my eye because it is LARGE, and has two grits built in. It is also very expensive.

That being said, using this tool will leave you speechless. It is that good. First of all, it is large enough to handle anything from a penknife to a 10" slicer with full coverage in a single stroke. Every whetstone should be this size. It is also thin, and isn't consumed during sharpening. The non slip pad provided with the stone works like a charm. Water is the only lubricant used, and cleanup is a snap.

Don't be fooled by the "fine" and "extra fine" rating of it's surfaces. The fine side will fix a badly worn kitchen edge in a few strokes. My guess is that the knife will also be better than new when you are done. The extra fine side will turn good steel into a razor in just a few more strokes. After years of taking time and care to acheive a perfect edge with natural and man made stones, this was an epiphany. The job was so easy, and the results so fantastic, that I went on a sharpening binge and turned over 15 well used knives into razors in little more than 30 minutes.

I also bought the Global sharpening guides for a couple of bucks. They are not needed for small knives, or for an experienced pro, but they make the fine edge look very uniform on longer blades. They give the "factory" look with the custom edge.

This is an incredible tool. By the way, when you are done, you just rinse it and put it away. I doesn't get any better than this!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great sharpeners!
DMT sharpeners are the best on the market! Although a little pricey, the quality is unmatched in my opinion. Why would I want to keep replacing a lower priced model when I can buy DMT and know that it will last me years and years. I sharpen my kitchen knives and pruners- saves me from havng to go out and buy new ones. My husband sharpens his pocket knives, chisels, and lawn mover blades. DMT is worth the investment!

5-0 out of 5 stars Retreat From The Stoneage
I discarded all my old sharpening stones, stropes, laminated leather wheels, plate glass, powders, Japanese wet stones, slipsticks, and my husband of twenty years, after discovering the DMT sharpening system.

Simply the best sharpening system ever invented.

I own almost every product they produce. The 4" X 10" "Dousharp Extra Fine and & Fine Diamond Whetstone" is a must have for any professional. I use the fold-up model to extend the life of my utility knife (two strokes on each side) and to attract men. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Quick payback, accurate, easy to use
I'm a remodeling contractor who works alone. I wish I had bought the PLS1 years ago. Huge time savings, wonderful accuracy. I'm completely satisfied, and would recommend this instrument to anybody who has ever wasted time trying to make a folding rule or a tape behave reliably. The PLS1 has paid for itself on the first job. That's pretty good.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic unit
I use this thing every week. It works great and is highly accurate. Allows you to reach out to places impossible otherwise. Just how high is it from the footings to the brick freeze? Easy. Just place the tail of the laser on the footings and shoot the brick freeze. Whammo! 18'5". Great.

How far is it from this stepdown to that stepdown? Whammo! 16'8". How far is it from this layout string to the footings? Whammo!

Is this side of the porch header the same height as the other side of the porch. Shoot both sides, allowing the PLS1 to display the difference and whammo, you know if you need to level it or not.

I could go on and on. Just cost too much.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Choice
Have been using this measurer for 5 months now. Common usage has been in theatres measuring the distance from stage flooring to the grid and from floor to the pipes our stage lights hang from. The beam is bright enough to see at great distances, 300' and more. The bright beam definitely helps me when measuring the trim heights of our pipes as there are usually dozens of pipes with inches of each other and 30' to 50' above my head. The quick sampling of the device and return measurement is very handy even when the objects are in motion.

My only complaint was that of the base end which is tappered. I quickly overcame this when I discovered that the red half-moon, which you can see in the picture, rotates to create an X base allowing the device to stand on end. The ability to choose measuring from nose or measuring from base is a real plus. The ability to add and/or subtract dimensions is very handy as well.

Without a doubt PLS provides great quality and features for the money. Their other laser devices, PLS3 and PLS5 have proven indispensable to me over the past several years and the addition of the PLS1 is very welcome.

5-0 out of 5 stars PLS-1 is a great measuring tool.
I used the PLS-1 in the homebuilding and remodeling business. I can measure a house for a roof much quicker than with a tape. I can measure rooms, ceiling heights, exterior walls, lenght of rafters, floor to ceiling heights much faster, safer, and more accurately than with a tape. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice and simple
The rack and the 30 clamps arived without a scratch.Assembly is easy.

However, I would make one modification.Instead of installing the cross supports in an X configuration (across the bottom) as suggested in the instructions, cut them down and use them on the outside, between the two frame halves (like a ladder crosspiece). You will need four extra bolts. The advantage, though, is that you could release one side of each brace and fold the unit up to store it against a wall. Some adjustments to the placement of the clamp hanging rods may be necessary to allow the fold, but that flexibility is already built in with the use of hairpin clips to secure the rods.

Can't wait to take it to the shop and hang up all my other clamps (plenty of room to spare). ... Read more

If you've never used a pull-saw, you're probably wondering if everything you've heard about them is true. It is, especially when you're talking about this handsaw from Shark. The ancient Japanese concept of pulling to cut gives you maximum results from minimum effort. Everything about this Shark is top-notch: the shape of the teeth, thickness, balance and the coordinated angle of the teeth, blade, handle, and blade replacement system. Because these blades cut on the pull rather than the push, the blades can be thinner, lighter and more flexible than regular saw blades, and flexibility means flush cutting. The cut is uniformly accurate, clean and easy to start, and you're left with a super-thin kerf. The blade is nice and wide, so you can fearlessly guide it with just a thumb. Something about the angle of the teeth seems to clear debris better than a standard saw, too. Add to this awesome saw the pry bar that comes with it, and you cannot beat this set. We love the bar for its ultra-sharp chiseled edge and the curve that gets you into the tightest spots. It's certainly the thinnest flat bar we've seen, great for prying off trim and molding with virtually no damage to the surrounding wall or the molding itself. We can imagine putting this to good use as a paint scraper, staple and nail puller, carpet remover, tile remover… the list goes on and on. We are impressed.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Number one cost per use tool you will own.
The saw is very accurate. With a single thumb edge on the center of the blade to keep it straight up, you can cut a perfect angle with this saw. Blade removal replacement makes it even more desireable. These are Japanese saws. The Shark company products are available in a lot of stores, so it is not a come and go product.
The thing I am really excited about is the small pry bar. I was doing a few odd jobs around the house. I removed some flaking plaster in the ceiling of one room, using the large flat although curved (fortunately) chiseling end. It did a superb job. Then I went into the kitchen and needed to replace the weatherstripping on the kitchen door. The flat part of the chisel made quick work of removing the old weatherstrip. Then the stubborn brad nails came right out using the other end with the pry-nail removal combination.
The unique thing about this tool, is that it is not anywhere near as large as the Stanley pry bar we all, or most of us use. Yet it is large enough to do the job. Makes it comfortable to keep in a belt pouch. It truly is something you will use again and again.
The price is an advantage also, if you consider the price of the individual pieces, it is quite a saving to buy them in this combo pack.
It is especially useful for someone who does trim work, but is far to useful in any number of ways, so as to recommend it too highly to any one service. Buy it, you won't be sorry. It will become one of you top favorite tools. Hope this was helpful.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best I've Used!
How much better than a "traditional" European / American push cut sawblade could this be? Believe every word of praise you've read and then some! I started doing wood projects with my 5 year old son using the Shark Saw included with this set. This is so much easier and so much more accurate than the hand saw I learned with. The prybar is also a tool deserving high marks. This is NOT a tool for power demolition, but it is well made tool for fine work - trim and nail pulling. This fits perfectly in a tool belt or Bucket Boss. Be CAREFUL - the wide end is plenty sharp. It's so nice to introduce my son to excellent general purpose woodworking tools. And at a reasonable price!
And of course, USE & TEACH proper safety for ALL tools!

5-0 out of 5 stars VERY NICE SAW
VERY SHARP AND A FAST CUTTER. I CUT DOOR TRIM FASTER THAN I COULD OF WITH ANY POWER SAW. I LOVE IT.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Combo of Quality Tools!
Toolpig was right! I had to move an interior door so I sent for this set to get the prybar. It made removing the moldings a breeze. I was able to reuse them around the door at its new location. The curved blade will get under the molding with only a light "tap," and the curve of the blade will gently lift the molding, the load spread across its 2" width. The nail puller is great on those busted off finish nails - one "tap" to set the claw into the base of the protruding nail stub, then pry it out.

I have other Japanese pull saws, but the Shark seems to have an edge on them. The blade is easily replaceable - just push the red button and the blade pulls out, push the blade in until it "clicks" to remount it. You won't have to do that often if you replace the plastic tooth guards supplied with the saw after each use. They pull off easily perpendicular to the blade, but you will have to slide them along the edge of the blade to get them back on. (They look kind of like those plastic paper binding strips you used on a term paper.) The saw has fine teeth on one side (crosscut) and large teeth on the other (ripcut). Both leave a smooth cut that hardly needs sanding.

You won't be disappointed with either tool and you will save a few bucks buying the combo!

5-0 out of 5 stars Power tools for your hand
The saw is great. We all know they outperform all other hand saws. S0 fast and easy to use. Those old Japanese woodworkers really know their stuff. It doesn't matter if it's a fine cut or a rough cut. This saw kicks hiney! But you know what ? It pales into insignificance next to the prybar! I love this tool! You can't imagine how useful it is until you have one in your hand. All my other pry bars are gathering dust. The tip is so sharp you can easily slip it in behind delicate trim for easy removal. It makes a fine scraper for everything from glue to paint to concrete. The claw is so sharp that you don't even need a head to pull a nail with it. It will grip the shank like a vise. The design is much like the exhumer, but the other end is much more useful. Unbeleivable. I liked it so much, I bought 5 more so we would never be short on the job. Both sizes are perfect. Better get a bunch because your friends will want one too! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Extremely Handy Tool
This is one of those tools that is so simple, but makes such a big difference in the time and finished results of hanging doors, cutting in lock sets, etc. Well woth the money, no serious carpenter should be without one.

4-0 out of 5 stars Corner chisel works great
After reading mixed reviews of the corner chisel I ordered one anyway. I am a contractor specializing in finish work and it seems like most of the door hardware I use lately is square cornered. The tool works good at cutting and it usually removes the chips at the same time. Sometimes you just have to lift the chips out of the corner after they are cut. The only drawback that I found was the striking surface is rounded and can cause the hammer so slip off after hitting it. But the corner gets chipped out anyway, (I just hit it with the flat side of my hammer). If I was doing production work I would probably modify it to give it a little bigger footprint for more stability, and a longer body for better grip, and a longer stike to keep the hammer away from your hand. Overall, for a pocket tool, it is well worth the cost. I wish that I had ordered one years ago.

5-0 out of 5 stars It's almost too good to be true, but it is !
When I first looked at this I thought, "How can it know the exact corner?" But it does. When routing out a template guided area for example, leaving a rounded corner, you park this in the corner, one decent whack with the hammer, and to my surprise, a perfect corner. It is a very simple device. It's a 90 degree blade that slides along a very thin outer shell-guide.
No more chisel-chisel-chisel, and difficulty getting the exact angles. It works as advertised. Saves a lot of time, and does a superb job. Highly recommended.

5-0 out of 5 stars No Gimmicks Here
If you've ever installed door hardware with square latches and latch plates in a house where all the doors arrive with radius mortising, you'll recall how much time you lost chiseling out every corner of every mortise. Buy this tool. It's cheap and simple to use and is definately not a gimmick.

1-0 out of 5 stars Gimmicky Gim-Gaw Garbage
Spring action! Perfect corners! Sure, my first reaction to this corner chisel was, "what a neat little tool"; however, after a couple of uses this novelty item now resides at the bottom of one of my tool boxes - and I'm not missing it. I make doors for a living and routinely have to have to square out notches for hinges. The Porter-Cable 42234 Corner Chisel doesn't get my approval for the following reasons:

1. It is difficult to sharpen.
2. It doesn't sit in my hand comfortably and on several occasions slipped when I tapped it, thus screwing up my corner.
3. I've already got chisels that can do this job; why did I spend ($) on this? ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Tool
Great tool for the handyman. Works great for my part-time business.

5-0 out of 5 stars good quality, portable and [inexpensive] in comparison
I use this small and not to heavy break for HVAC duct work. I can carry the brake by myself and can do pretty good work with it.It's devinitly not a toy and does a great job, when you only have to use it once in a while. For every day use, you need a big break in your shop for better speed and accuracy.

Amazon.com Review

If you're used to a standard 16-ounce claw hammer, this lightweight titanium hammer from Stilletto will make you feel like Popeye after he's had his can of spinach. This beauty has a graceful curve in its hickory handle that's ergonomically better for swinging--a small modification that makes a gigantic difference. It weighs only 14 ounces, but it drives like the big boys. We liked the magnetized nail groove, because it helps prevent hitting fingernails. The manufacturer says this is the world's first titanium-head hammer, and if that's true, there are sure to be copycats. The only word of caution: titanium has a million merits, but be aware that it will spark if chipped. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I'd be lost without it
I spent all day today, by myself, framing a one-story house. I left the Senco air powered nailer in the truck and just used the Stiletto. I wanted to see if this Titanium hammer would ease the burden on my tennis elbow (framers elbow?). It took me about a half hour to get used to this baby, and I switched off with a 24 oz steel framer for a while and came right back to the Stilleto. No contest. The steel framer went back in the toolbox. The Stiletto gave me no elbow pain; just easy driving of those 16d sinkers all day long. If you make your living driving nails, or even just have the need to drive a lot of them, check out this hammer.

5-0 out of 5 stars at 14oz. hammer feels to light, but works like a Dream!
When I first saw this hammer the look on my face must have said volumes, I thought, "gee nice looking hammer, but what is it good for, it is so light I can't imagine having to actually pound nails with it". My partner smiled and said give it a try, then make your decision. After the first hour of using the Stilleto Titanium framing hammer I was impressed, at the end of the first day I wouldn't give it up at any price. I still don't know how it works, but I can drive 16's as fast (by the 2nd. half of the day, actually faster) than I could with the 24oz. Hart California Framer that I had used prior to the Stilleto. The real advantage in my opinion, is the reduction in stress upon the users elbow joint due to the much lighter weight of the hammer. The only draw back that I have noticed in the 1 yr. that I have been using the Stilleto is that the titanium rip claws tend to develope nicks when using them to pull bent nails, also using the hammer against hardened steel tools like pullers and ripping bars quickly dulls the milled face (however the face checkering was never as pronounced as the Hart or Death Stick framers). The nail set magnet and seat work exceptionally well for setting 8d and up nails in top plates or other hard to reach areas. All in all I wouldn't use any other hammer for day to day framing, but keep your old heavy weight framer for demolition work.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good hammer
I bought this hammer a little while back. I work on a construction crew, and do numberous odd jobs. I do like this hammer a lot. It's very light, which is great for not weighing down my toolbelt. It also does not put much stress on my elbow. I was using a heavier hammer, and I could start to feel a twinge in my tendons. The long handle is great, especially since I am not too tall. The nail set is great again to extend my reach. I haven't had any problems pulling nails, even the old rusty ones. I think my next hammer might be a Dalluge. They are 16 ounces, so it doesn't require quite as much effort to drive them home.

5-0 out of 5 stars speed hammering with the stiletto
i was workng at a boy scout camp replacing the whole roof on a small latrine the roof was 12' by 8' arched and we replaced all the plywood and stuff it was great using this hammer i was so much faster nailing things down than all the other scouts. it took 3 hits to put in like 3inch nails for the plywood and not even one full power hit to put in the shingles nails it was great

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Hammer I've Ever Swung.
I was a loyal Estwing user, I have owned 3 28oz Framers and 1 of the 20oz long handle hammers. Now I just keep one 28oz in the truck for demolition, but the Stiletto stays with me at all times. I have broken my right wrist twice and used to switch hands when it would get sore, but the first day I used this hammer I didn't have to switch once. Don't let the 14oz weight fool you, I am driving nails faster than ever with this. Highly Recommend. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow!
This is the ultimate hammer. I own three of these. There's no hammering job they can't do.

5-0 out of 5 stars Sweet
Light, compact, comfortable, balanced. A true craftsmans tool.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great tool!
I recently purchased this hammer after swinging estwings for the pase 20 years.Recently diagnosed with tendonitus I was looking for a light, shock absorbing hammer to replace my old blue handled classic.I first tried the stiletto framing hammer but found it too bulky and long ,but this little trim model is just great. Over the last week we framed a large hip roof doing all the nailing by hand. While I admit that driving a 12d sinker requires an extra tap or two it is well worth the weight I no longer carry. These days I do most of my work with air tools but will always have a hammer by my side, and from now on this little stiletto wil be the one.

5-0 out of 5 stars What a difference
Ive only been using this hammer for about two weeks. I am a finish carpenter and was looking for something to help my tennis elbow. This hammer is amazing. Guys think it's funny until they try it. My elbow already feels better and the curved handle is great. The down side so far it that the face marks easily when you use a nailset. I plan to do some framing soon and I will probably get a Titanium framing hammer. ... Read more
