Good nails; meager packaging
I bought a new Bostitch N80CB framing nailer from Amazon, then had difficulty finding a local source of coil nails here in Silicon Valley. So I ordered these nails in the 400-pack from Amazon also.

The nails came in two coils of 200 nails each, in a corrugated cardboard box; I expect the 2500-pack to be similar. There was no other packaging, and my coils were a bit squashed after shipping. I had to unwind the full 200 nail coil and rewind it to fit smoothly around the spindle of my nailer.

How did the nails work? Very well, after recoiling. I had no jams; no problems at all. A few cardboard cores to keep the coils from getting squashed in transit would help a bunch. I might well have had some feed problems if I hadn't straightened out the connecting wires before loading, so I deducted one star. But the price is decent, and Amazon's free shipping can't be topped. ... Read more

A great mailbox!
I used this mailbox for years when I lived in rural areas and had mail delivery via car (instead of my current in-town, walking-mailman delivery sevice).The best feature of this box is the fact that magazines and large envelopes can lay flat inside - allowing all the mail to stay in better condition.I also really appreciated the "mail's here" flag that pops up when the mailman puts the mail in the box - meaning no more walks down the driveway to find an empty mailbox.This box mounts to any standard 4x4 post or any of the pre-made decorative mailbox posts found in home centers.Though I found this box made of durable, weather resistant plastic, my only complaint was when winter weather got very cold the box would crack if anything bumped into it (such as when it got clipped by a snow plow or a careless neighbor).Other than that small and infrequest problem, for the money I found this to be the best mailbox one could own in rural areas.Highly recommended! ... I'm Stuck on This Glue !!
This glue has all the features that I am looking for in such a simple application, yet very critical to the final product if it fails!! It applies smooth and tacky, giving enough working time to allow for final adjustments. Just enough tackyness to allow for a fit to stick without moving until the clamps can be applied. If too much glue was applied, the water cleanup is important to avoid excess sanding before final staining process. Just a damp cloth will remove the excess glue and will not leave a "glue residue" on the wood surface.

The weatherproof feature allows use of this glue on both indoor and outdoor projects. It is excellent for that bird house, bat house or garden gnome that is exposed to the outdoor elements, but not continuously exposed to water.

The gallon size makes this the most economical buy. The large mouth bottle makes refilling the application glue bottle very simple and easy to do WITHOUT having to use a funnel.

No problems, no issues, just a great sticky product that holds!

This is the best glue for money you can buy.
I've used more expensive glues before and stopped. This glue is just as good. There's plenty of working time. And best of all it's sandable. Feel comfortable creating joints without dowel or biscuits with Titebond II.

This glue is great if you are making things that will be in damp areas. Don't mistake that for outdoor projects that are exposed to the weather. It has great working time and easily cleans up.

Much better than a hanging string.
What can I say other than 'it works great.' Very easy to install and setup. Simply park you car where you want it and press a button -- the park-zone will remember this location and signal you to stop whenever you pull in to that spot again. Took about 4 minutes to hang and setup. Batteries last a long time -- and in a very hot garage, too. I love it.

A "toy" that really works!
My son bought me this more-or-less as a joke, because I had a tennis ball (me) and a small doll (wife) for parking. I put it up and I LOVE IT. I am buying two more (wife and SON). I have had no problems with batteries to date and resetting is easy if you need to do it. If you have a tight fit... try this one.

This product does a good job!
This device has ended a problem of the correct positioning of my wife's car in the garage. If it was pulled in too far, I couldn't swing the door open on my vehicle without hitting the mirror on her car. If the wife's car was pulled in too far, we couldn't walk around the front of it. Ok gun, few problems
I am a trimmer by trade so keep in mind I shoot 300 nails a day with this gun, so some problems might be purely wear related.

It is a descent gun, we have 75+ of them at work and they are descent except for a few very common problems.

1. If you have one of the first ones off the line the triggers have a tendency to not work correctly. The safety doesn't keep the gun from firing, so in other words you can pull the trigger and the gun will fire without pushing it against anything. There was a recall for the triggers, so I am assuming the more recently built ones are fixed.

2. We have had problems with the guns not setting the nails completely. It happens in about 10% of them. When the gun is pushed against the wood, the tip of the gun won't go all the way against it, doesn't matter if you have the depth set to the deepest setting. This can be fixed by grinding down the safey and the nose a little bit.

3. Sometimes the gun won't shoot a nail. It will fire, but the firing pin will go between the nails and the casing. I am not sure if it is the nails not sliding ahead far enough or something else. This could be the brand of nails.

But overall nothing that would keep me from buying another one.

Nice price for SENCO
Decided to get a brad nailer for case and baseboard molding, with the intention to use it for cabinetry and other woodworking in the future. (If I only planned on using it for house trim work, I would have gone with a 16 or 15 gauge nailer, yes.)

I didn't notice anything obviously better between the Senco, Porter Cable, Bostitch, etc. But when you read the reviews, no one ever seems to be able to dislike a Senco nailer. Have you noticed this trend? So, this was enough reason for me to spend the few extra dollars on the Senco.

I must say that I am in no way disappointed with this nailer's performance. I put up baseboards around a 21x21 room with some funny angles, as well as casing on a couple doors. It always sunk that little 2" brad just right. No surprises at all. Never a jam. It didn't mar that pre-primed soft molding, either. I really felt this thing was on my side, trying to accomplish the same thing I was. One nice feature is the rear exhaust. The exhaust air comes out the back of the tool, just above the air inlet. Not much chance of staining your work with the oily discharge air.

The only complaint I can come up with is the way the cushion grip is designed. The grip is a cushy material that is wrapped around the body. But the material overlaps itself on the bottom side of the grip, near the trigger. It feels a little funny at first, and I wonder if it will forever remain stuck to itself, or if this will someday seperate and start peeling away. Oh well, I can't take points away for something I only fear will happen.
