If you don't want to spend over $250 for a set of carbide hole saws, then this is as good as it gets at a fraction of a carbide set's price. The best feature about this Bosch set is the terrific quick-connect mandrel system. The hole saws, regardless of size, snaps in and out of the mandrel easily -- no tightening or screwing needed. Wow, very good for med. duty
If you are a pro and use this everyday you may not want to get this, but if your a jack of all trades or just to use once or twice a week this is great for you.

Lenox Hole Saws
If you want to cut steel, Aluminum, or just about any metal this is the brand you want to use. Any hole saw can cut wood (so can these) but cutting steel is a different story. They are the longest lasting hole saws I have found on the market.
