Cabinet installation can be a bear, but this clamp set makes it more than bearable. The unique design is like another pair of hands that grip while you align and tighten the stiles, pre-drill and fasten, and the clamps stay put through the entire process. The drill guides and pilot holes ensure that the 1/8-inch bit (included) hits the mark time after time. We like the professional quality: lightweight but rugged aluminum claws and alignment plates, protective rubber pads that won’t mar your work, 1/2-inch diameter zinc-plated, cold-drawn steel screws with smooth Acme threads. The plastic handles even have grooves for a great grip. These clamps will work with stiles from 1-1/2 to 2 inches wide and up to an impressive 1-1/2 inches thick. We think it’s well worth the price if you’re working alone, whether you’re a professional or a home do-it-yourselfer.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars An Essential Tool
If you are installing cabinets this is one tool you do not want to be without. Works well but you may need more than two if your cabinets are large or if fighting with a really uneven floor.

4-0 out of 5 stars great clamp but could be improved
These work well for hanging cabinets and make short work out of alignment. My only critisism is the pin (a rolled piece os steel that holds the two pieces of the clamp together at the screw) repeatedly came out of the hole and allows the clamp to separate. This has happened to both clamps and has been remedied by opening the cylinder with a nail set and redriving it back into the hole. They are always in my tool box and they are used heavily as I am a cabinet maker. If they fix the pin with a threaded hole and pin with a screw thread on the end I would have given it a 5+. I will buy another set in the future.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cabinet Installers take Note!
Have you ever tried to install kitchen cabinets? How about by yourself? Uh huh. If you have then the brilliance of these clamps will be obvious. I wish I had invented them. You not only pull the cabinets together tight, but you are able to get the faces (stiles) even (flush).

The only other thing you'll need is a drill bit made for the pilot hole.

A must have.

3-0 out of 5 stars Easy on, not so easy off...
Bought a set of these because the concept looks great. They worked well to align the first two cabinets I installed, but one of the clamps would not come off! It felt like it was cross-threaded and would not open up. After nearly tearing the skin off the palms of my hands, I had to resort to a pipe wrench which opened the clamp at the expense of the threaded shaft, it fractured into two pieces. I would like to buy another set, but probably won't just out of principle.

Designed to fit any miter saw or compound slide saw, this Trojan standis light, portable, and easy to set up. It provides 13 feet of overall support with both ends fully extended, and while we would have liked to see quick-release adjustments, it is a generous amount of room by most standards. The surface is not predrilled for mounting, so you'll have to drill and mount your saw yourself. Construction is rugged steel, and the welds are solid, as are the rollers on the extensions. In order to reduce weight, Trojan has kept the legs fairly thin, and as a consequence the unit isn't as burly as some models. But depending on the saw model you intend to mount, and where you plan to set up (indoors, outdoors, or in the shop), this may or may not be an issue. The wheels are 10 inches in diameter and roll well, and in terms of portability, the stand's relative lightness is a positive. The table measures 39-1/2 inches long by 16 wide by 35-1/2 inches tall. --Jonathon Tudor ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Heavy Duty Miter Stand
Last fall I purchased a 12 inch sliding compound miter saw. I soon realized I needed a place to set it up but give me the flexibility to move it out to a job site. The saw weighs 62 pounds. Thus, I needed a stand that could take the weight, easy to breakdown, and give me a work surface to support the wood I was cutting.

The stand has wing arms that extend up on each side to support the wood for cutting. The wing arms extend up and quickly adjust--I took a permanent marker and marked the location on the extension rod where the wing becomes level. This allows me to quickly lock in a level work surface.

I strongly advise getting the optional miter stop attachment. This is good for multiple cuts of the same length. However, I improved on the screw that attaches to the stand. I changed the screw to a thumb screw making it easier to move it around and make adjustments faster--hint to the Trojan folks. These wings are a real selling point in fully supporting your work. Other stands have these adjustable rollers which you have to adjust everytime you do a cut which slows you down.

When I received the stand the top board was slightly damaged due to shipping, I called Trojan--since that is what it says to do in the box. They quickly shipped me a new board. The box needed to have padding for shipping. I would suggest painting the board to match the stand or paint it an accent red color. This will keep it resistant to rain and the saw dust sweeps easily off a glossy surface. Not sure why Trojan does not paint it to begin with.

If you plan to use a big saw like mine you may need to mount the saw first to a 3/4inchx24inchx24inch plywood base, then attach the base to the top with self tapping screws. This was needed in order to allow the saw to sit back far enough to take full advantage of 12 inch wide stock on the rollers and wings. Also the saw needs the extra width of support. This did not create an off balanced stand.

Finally, if you put a heavy saw on this stand you may need a little help to fold the stand down. Just make sure the saw is locked down and can not slide.

Overall, the quality of the stand, its portability, and functionality make it a great addition to the home depot of tools.

5-0 out of 5 stars Trojan Rolling Stand is a great worksaver
I bought a rolling miter stand because the heavy DeWalt sliding double compound saw was too heavy to lug around; also, plywood on sawhorses makes a lousy stand, and using a miter saw sitting on the floor isn't as productive as a stand.

The DeWalt stays bolted to the Trojan, since it's so easy to roll and set-up. With the Trojan's large rubber tires, I can also move the saw up and down stairs by myself, even inside a finished house.

CONs:

Trojan should use high-quality plywood for the table instead of ½" MDF. MDF looks cheap, the edges can break off, and you wouldn't want it to get wet.

It would have been nice if the folded-up stand/saw stored vertically instead of horizontally (which takes up more space.)

PROs:

Initial set-up was straight forward, it came with all the parts, and it was easy to adjust the height of the end rollers to match the height of my miter saw.

Any miter saw should work on this stand.

I can open-up the Trojan with saw attached, in under a minute, and that's being careful. Takes slightly longer to fold it up. It rolls as easily as a hand truck when folded, although since I'm tall, I have to lean over to hold it up.

For cutting short pieces of stock, neither 32 inch table extension is needed. Otherwise, unscrew a T handle bolt to lift an extension in place. Align with your eye to get the level right, and tighten the handle. Takes about 20 seconds per side. The excellent extensions have cross supports that provide multiple points of support for varying lengths of work. For really long pieces, I use a separate work stand, not attached to the Trojan.

If you'll use the miter stand outside on soft (but level) ground, consider getting one with large tires that stay down when the table is opened up (Trojan MS2000 or the Rousseau 2950). Stands that rest on 4 legs when opened (HTC HP-575PK or Delta 50-155) might sink into a soft surface (such as grass) when setting it up - OR - tip over, once set up. With the Trojan, I put a piece of wood under one end for stability, as the tires are a firm base for that end of the stand.

Another benefit of a stand with tires that stay on the ground is you can then roll the opened stand. E.g., #1 - store the stand/saw set-up in a nearby secure location for the duration of a job. Then when starting work, roll the stand/saw where it's most convenient. E.g. #2 - if the stand isn't exactly where you want it, roll it there, without folding it up. Stands like the HTC or Delta are difficult to move once they are opened, especially if you're alone.

I'm 6/4 and find the Trojan's height perfect -- the miter saw's table is 39 inches off the ground.

Everything folds up into a single compact unit, so there's nothing else to carry or remember to take, and nothing pokes out (like the extension rollers on the Rousseau 2950).

Summary: A well-thought-out functionally designed product that improves productivity -- primarily because it sets up quickly and has large rubber tires that stay on the ground. I'd get the same one again.

5-0 out of 5 stars Crown Moulding Project made Simple
Bought a new house just recently and alway wanted crown mouldings up in the dining room. Paid to have it done initally and was surprised by how effortlessly the carpenter went about completing the project. It turned out beautiful!
Inspired by this I went about collecting the tools and knowledge to take on the other rooms in the house.
In my quest to tool-up, I found these customer reviews exceedingly helpful. Spent a generous amount of time studying my options and finally bought the Makita 12" sliding compound miter saw. Put this beauty on the Trojan platform but, this set-up in itself still required the purchase of the Trojan extension. With this I Now I have enough support to easily slide the 16 foot lenghts of crown stock from side to side pass the saw.
The initial Trojan unit was defective and Amazon quickly sent me another to replace it. I took the advice from a few of the reviews found here and replaced the mdf base with a piece of 3/4" hardwood plywood. Unfortunately, I could not simply attach the plywood onto the existing mdf saw base: That would have created a height problem with the wings, preventing the unit from folding back neatly onto itself when I wanted to break down the unit for transport. Since I definitely did not want to fuss with adjusting the height of the wings each and every time I wanted to do a project. I eliminated this tedious step by taking the mdf out altogether. Now I just roll-in and fold out the wings and everything is level with the surface of the Saw table .
I finshed the plywood base by putting a hardwood border around it to preserve the edge and to prevent things from rolling off.
The new saw base has a final dimensions of 26" by 40" which is securly attached onto the frame of the Trojan with 10 screws.
Other than that I followed the reviews and picked up a digital miter from amazon and a crown moulding book from Home Depot.
Follwed the instructions and made a complete set of Crown "Templates" as suggested which I would more that highly reccomend to anyone wanting to avoid crown "insanity."
Armed with the Makita, the Trojan platform and my Senco finish nailer I'm now on my 9th room.
P.S. To SAVE yourself alot of work, Buy the wood crown stock already primed, and give it 2 (TWO) coats of paint while it's still on the ground.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Stand - A Back Saver!
I'm a homeowner and word working enthusiast with a bad back. I have a very small area to store tools so I frequently had to carry a miter saw from storage to a work location. Without a stand, I was constantly bending over to use the saw. Although I have only used the Trojan MS-2000 for a couple of months, I have found it to be one of the most useful and back saving tools I own. With its large tires it moves easily over rough surfaces. It is a breeze to set up and tear down for transport. I find myself taking on projects I had put off for fear of transporting a 50 pound saw to the work site. With the Trojan MS-2000 it is easy and even fun. Bravo Trojan --- A great product!

4-0 out of 5 stars To a casual do-it-yourselfer this one looks like a winner
Well, based mainly on the reviews written here I broke down and bought a Trojan and then modified its table similarly with an enlarged sheet of 1/2" MDF, correspondingly shifting the base of my DeWalt 708 more to the rear of the unit to increase the useable width available for material to pass and still maintain contact with the wing supports. One caveat: this procedure does tend to create imbalance with such a large amount of weight in play, especially with the Dewalt's saw blade pushed all the way back on its rails. The Trojan in this configuration hasn't tipped yet, and with material loaded there should be no issue at all. But just standing there waiting for work it is a bit tipsy.

Having said that, the Trojan appears to be mainly well constructed. The exception is the flimsy pair of caps provided to hold the cart's wheels on the axle. A better approach might be to offer an axle pre-drilled at its ends to accept substantial cotter pins, but I don't know. I will say what we have looks and feels somewhat insecure.

Also, my table doesn't fold exactly right, with one set of folding legs binding somewhat upon collapse. This further causes the little locking hook to not meet its pin correctly.

I enjoy this work station's portability immensely--those pneumatic tires roll like a dream--and even with all that dead weight of such a large saw it has not proven difficult to set up and break down. I'd advise having a helping hand with your saw rigged. I did first time it in my garage with the help of woman with a strong back and it _still_ threatened to get away from us for a second. Alone on my work site it simply got away from me and down went the saw onto the deck with a hard thud! I would imagine that fatigue and unfamiliarity with the operation played a role there, but still, with a 708 on top the operation is dicey at best.

On balance, the Trojan enhances my saw. And just think--now I've got a Dewalt 708 on wheels! ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Benchtop table saws have come a long way in the past few years, evolving into precision machinery for even the finest joinery. Here's a stand that's worthy of those little dynamos. It's preset for several models of Makita, Hitachi, DeWalt, and Delta, but it's easily adapted for saws with tops up to 24-1/2 inches deep and 27 inches wide. This is by far the sturdiest benchtop accessory we've seen, with the best array of options. At a great working height of 34-1/2 inches, you'll increase your rip capacity to a burly 27 inches and won't have to call your next-door neighbor anymore to give you a hand when you're cutting sheet goods. The fence is tubular steel with an adjustable magnified hairline indicator for superior readability. Something we noticed and really liked on this stand was that the front edge sits just a bit lower than the saw table, so stock slides smooth as silk without catching. The optional add-ons are great, too: the PM2715XL extension adds a router table to your saw and increases rip capacity to an awesome 49 inches. An outfeed table is available, too. And should you need to, the saw removes easily and the stand folds flat for storage and portability. A winner all the way around. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars good saw stand....but
Ok, all the reviews for this stand are great,,and I also agree that it is great also, but this is a prime example of trying to make something good even better, it sometimes dosent work.I've first bought the Rousseau saw stand in 1995 when it was a simple and some what light weight. It was around $300.00 for the stand and one out feed table, and it was ready to go out of the box and it fit the 8 1/4 makita saw i had perfectly.Well its been 8 years now and its pretty worn out ,so I couldn't wait to buy a new one. This time i bought an extra side table that allows me to almost 48" cross cut. When i ordered it I understood that it fit three differnt saws, but i thought when i ordered it with the Makita 2703 it would come to fit that saw..NOT. When the table came it was very heavy, and with the extra side table on it ,,for get about it, its not eazyly portable. It wasnt ready to go out of the box , it had to be set up for the Makita, it came with a cam system that drove me crazy to try to get it square and right in the stand, and when I finally got it in the table I couln't get it to cut square, the table next to the saw wasn't installed properly at the factory, so I had to take that off and square it up. Then to find out that the saw sat down 1/8" below that table ,there where supossed to be shims that came with the saw but I couldnt find any. Then trying to install the extra side table with those set screws, when i finally got it on I wasn't about to take it off for storage. So now the table is that much heavyer and that much longer,,it took me about three hours to finally get the saw cutting like I needed it to cut,,it was very disapointing and aggravating. I do alot of custom work so the saw has to cut perfectly, the last saw stand i bought was ready to go out of the box and i think Rousseau should make there stands fit the saw you order with it ,,but after all the aggravation and set up the table works well, and I like the way it looks and is very sturdy, and i can cut full sheets a ply wood without worrying about the stand pushing over. Its worth the money but I wasnt expecting so much aggravating set up...

5-0 out of 5 stars Rousseau Table Saw Stand
This has proven to be one of the most versatile tools I own. It is amazing how it adds to the capability of the Makita saw. This has been used for everything from construction to furniture.

4-0 out of 5 stars Rousseau PM2700XL Saw Stand
The Rousseau PortaMax 2700XL saw stand has been the perfect addition to my 10-inch Makita 2703XL table saw. Now I can ditch the non-folding bolt-on stand that came with the saw and hampered its portability. This stand also fits the popular Dewalt DW744, some Delta, Skil and Ryobi models as well as Hitachi, but if you own the Bosch, you'll need to get the model 2500 or 2775 saw stand instead.
The Rousseau fence is a big improvement over the Makita's stock "fence O'frustration" that can easily make anyone attempting to use it with any accuracy, feel like the Rain Man. At 27-inches, the stand more than doubles my saws original rip capacity of 12-1/2 inches. I also plan to add the 2715XL table extension with the router plate, which will turn this stand into a workstation and increases my saws rip capacity to a whopping 49-inches. You can also get the table extension without the router plate if you don't need it. Adding the removable 2720 outfeed table will make this the ultimate portable package, for my needs. Setup/breakdown is a simple one-man procedure and if you work alone or move from job to job frequently, this folding saw stand is a savior.
I feel that even when totaling up the costs of this stand with my Makita table saw, the outfeed table and table extension with router plate, I will have greater functionality and still will have spent less money than I would have for a similar setup with one of Dewalt or Delta's heavy contractor saws that require two people to lift and take up almost the whole bed of your truck. In addition, since several other manufactures saws will fit the stand, if my current saw happens to quit on me in the middle of a job, and the local tool supply house doesn't have the same model to replace it, or I want to go with a different brand, I can drop in any one of the other saws listed in Rousseau's compatibility chart and be back to on line quickly.
Overall, I have no problem recommending this Rousseau stand. It is well made, reasonably priced and the available table extensions can give it excellent jobsite flexibility. Very nice.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Portable Saw Stand on the Market!
I bought my Rousseau 2700 saw stand nearly twenty years ago. I am a professional cabinet installer and use this product with my 8 1/4" Makita bench saw. It has been used five days a week, 50 weeks a year for nearly 20 years. It looks awful, there is virtually no paint left on it, the table board and the out feed table are full of knicks, dings, and oops cuts. In addition to use as a saw, it gets used as a workbench, utility horse, mitre saw stand, and lunch table. Through out all the years of job site use, and sometimes abuse, it is still very acurate and holds it's square as well as the day it was new! In my thirty six years in the cabinet trade I've had many tools come and go. None of them can even hold a candle to the quality and durability of this saw stand. This product deserves fifty stars! Thanks Rouseau, you are the best.

4-0 out of 5 stars nice table
this is the best table out there i think:
1.) it's got a lot of size

2.) you can add a really great router table

3.) you can add two extensions to the front and side for some extra money.

4.) the fence is super fantastic! in fact, i like it better than the fence on the big Jet table saw

SOME PROBLEMS:

1.) its not truly portable cuz it doesn't fold up into a smaller size.

2.) it doesn't come with the measuring tape already on.. it's costs NINE dollars for a replacement

3.) it's so expensive but LOVABLE that you'll cry if you dent it

... i always check mine just in case i dented it.. it's my baby he he!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars StableMate PLUS100 Universal Miter Saw Stand
Outstanding product. Easy to store, easy to use. Very stable. Great price. My only regret is that I haven't been able to find anyone who sells additional tool mounts so that I can mount other saws, etc.

As to those who rated this product poorly just because they got it in damaged condition, complain to the delivery company about their handling, not the manufacturer. As to not returning it to the place you bought it, if you bought it locally, return it, if you mail ordered it, it would save you lots of money to request replacement parts instead of return shipping! This is a great product, regardless of people who choose to complain about things the manufacturer can't control.

4-0 out of 5 stars Can't take a hit
This is a nice light and portable miter saw stand. It breaks down quickly and adjustments are simple and quick. With the material stop I made quick work out of cutting 200 2x2 deck railing ballisters with decorative 45s on the ends. It also is sturdy enough for any materials I've loaded it with (haven't tried a 4x10 yet). Now for the bad news. The sliding arms have very little play in their sleeves, which is mostly good (they don't sag much when not clamped down). However if your saw takes a hit, which can happen, the party is over. The aluminum arms cannot tolerate any amount of bending and still slide in their sleeves, and they are not removeable for any kind of servicing. Thus the sliding, retractable support arms become non moving, non adjustable support arms, and the saw loses alot of its usefullness. Still, it's a high functioning, light weight, and very affordable stand, so go for it. Just watch for falling ladders.

5-0 out of 5 stars Why Pay More
I am a contractor and use a sliding compound miter quite often. I got tired of setting up on saw horses so I researched alot of stands before desiding to buy this one. This is an excellent stand. It has all the features you need, is very sturdy, and is easy to set up and take down. I can't see any reason to pay twice as much for other stands when this one does the job perfectly for half the price.

5-0 out of 5 stars QUICK AND STURDY
I am a contractor looking for a new stand for my 8 1/2" miter saw. I wanted to get something portable and simple without sacrificing quality. After researching dozens of stands I decided on the plus 100. It sets up fast and fit my saw perfectly. The stand is constructed with heavy material and hardware that makes sense. No gizmos that get in the way. The stock supports are rounded off so it doesn't scratch the material. Other things that make this stand a good buy are; the folding legs lock in the open or closed position, the stand is sturdy but doesn't brake your back transporting it, and breaks down quick and compact. If I had to find any fault with it, it would be the extension arms slide out a little rough, but a coat of wax took care of that.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Miter Saw Stand in Town
For $89.00 you can't get a better miter saw stand...and it's just a good as the Dewalt which cost $199.00.
Easy to setup...from out the box to the full setup...it only took 15 mins...maybe less.

Make no mistake this is a PROFESSIONAL MITER SAW STAND....I highly recommend you buy one today. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Porter-Cable BSI550-W 5,500 Watt Generator with 10 HP Engine
We just went through a power outage and ended up having water in the basement! Our battery back up sump pump was working hard, but the battery went dead. The solution and savior is this portable generator. We bought a Porter-Cable BSI550-W 5,500 Watt Generator with 10 HP Briggs and Stratton Engine. This generator is easy to move with the wheel kit included! Also the OHV engine and electronic ignition make it a breeze to start up! Every time it has started on the first pull! My wife can move the unit and start it up just as easy as me! Never again will we be caught off guard without power! This unit has enough power to run the sump pump, space heater and other small household appliances. Be prepared and get yourself one of these! It is one of the best priced units with good power ratings, engine and a wheel kit! Thank you to Porter Cable and Briggs and Stratton!

4-0 out of 5 stars Starts easy, runs good!
The shipping of this generator was good. The shipper was ABF Trucking. Their local agent coordinated with me before delivery, which took place two days early.
The generator was shipped with the portability kit in the same box. The instructions for assembly were clear and understandable, but did not help me attach the foot brackets to the generator frame. The frame was drilled but not tapped, so I could not get the screws that were provided started. I used a 1/4-20 tap to thread the holes. Assembly time was about two hours.
After following the preparation instructions, putting fuel in the tank and oil in the engine, and reading the starting instructions on the top of the fuel tank, I pulled the starting cord once, and the engine started. This generator provides enough electricity to run my water pump (1 HP), start my oil burner and run the circulating pumps, run the refrigerator, TV, and provide 1500 watts of lighting. It still had capacity left over, since it handled the startup load of the water pump very well. At $679 this generator is a great backup power source for the average size household. A voltmeter and loadmeter on the control panel would be nice, but at this price I think that is too much to ask.

4-0 out of 5 stars Porter-Cable BSI550-W 5,500 Watt is a work-horse.
I purchased the Porter-Cable BSI550-W 5,500 Watt Generator with 10 HP Engine because I had to have portable power for residential construction. I bought it so I could run 13 - 15 amp circular saws and a 15 amp, 5 h.p. electric air compressor. It would not kick the compressor on when the air was at 100 lbs. so a serviceman set the rpm at 3700 rpm instead of the factory set 3600 rpm, which generates at 140 volts, no load. It runs great and runs super good. The negative side is having to idle it above the recommeded rpm and the extremely loud noise it makes even with the quiet muffler that it came with. There is also a loud rattling sound in the lower part of the 10 hp B and S engine. I don't know if that's a defect that can be fixed or something that you have to live with. It seems to come from the engine connecting rod to the piston. Other than that it is a great generator for the price. A person who uses it occasionally might not even be bothered by the rattling noise.

5-0 out of 5 stars Bang for the buck!
This is certainly a step UP from the usual 4,500 watt "budget" generators! Very easy to assemble and a wonderful heavy duty unit that will power MOST of my house in case of electrical problems. Be aware.. you will still need to probably purchase a transfer switch (around $400) and cable (another $50) plus a couple hundred more for installation if you want to do it the "RIGHT" way, however, I figured that in the event of a power outage, it is MORE than worth the cost. I purchased this item when there was free delivery, which was great, because the shipping company said that it would probably have been an additional $200 for shipping this item! I also got a $50 rebate and the price was quite a bit lower than it is now, but I still don't think you can go wrong with this unit. The large fuel tank is certainly a plus! Of course, the delivery company met me and delivered it to the "street" (I had to drag it UP my driveway), but it was well worth it for the price (free!). Porter Cable has a great reputation for this equipment, and I'm looking foward to giving it a full test as soon as my power drops out this winter.

5-0 out of 5 stars Most Excellent
I am very pleased with this generator. I'm not exactly Tony the toolman, but this was a breeze to start up and to attach the wheel kit. Just added gas and oil started on the first pull. I'm just waiting or the electrician to show up and install the transfer switch and I'll be ready for most anything. I was told that since my furnace is gas and don't have a well pump that I'll be able to hook up most of my house. The shipping with ABF was a little tedious, I had to leave work and arrange a meeting place, but the driver was cool and helpfull. Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Tool!
When I told my husband that I needed a compact, folding if possible cart or wheelbarrow, he said I was asking for the moon and was doubtful that he'd find one. Well sure enough he found this one and I was thrilled! I'm a professional gardener and when the cart arrived, the assembly was so simple that I was off and loading it up right away. All my tools fit, it was very light weight and it fit very compactly in the back of my Jeep Cherokee. The real test came when I loaded it up with mulch to see how it would work as a wheelbarrow. It was teriffic!! I could fit more in it than the wheelbarrow I was using, and it was easier to fill. Because it has 2 wheels instead of 1, it wouldn't tip over when filled to the brim! Unloading it was easy too, I just took the back off and dumped the mulch where I needed it. The channels for that back panel do get a bit plugged up with mulch after a hard day of work, but clean up easy enough. This cart is totally awesome....this is the best tool investment I made last year! Thanks for a wonderful product!!

4-0 out of 5 stars HANDY HELPER
Arriving to the job site in a 1-ton utility work truck loaded with all types of tools/equipment/materials is one thing, getting into a building/site with limited access is another. The solution, "fold-it" !! This light weight "mule" has become my best buddy. Prior to purchasing my "fold-it" i either made several trips to and from my work truck, arms loaded to the gills or used a bulky wheelbarrow to carry my tools/material. This is certainly a "tool" that has REALLY made me money (time saver). Although i thought it was pricey for a "cart", i have no regrets. The solution for me as for the gauge of the aluminum was a $35 investment. I went to a local metal materials shop and had 3 pieces of "aluminum diamond deck" cut to fit, 2 lower pieces (by the way, if it really matters to you like it did me, make sure that the fit is the same as the bottom deck of the cart, one side is slightly less then the other in width)the other piece was for the sliding back. I attached the diamond deck using a rivot gun.Maybe if your lucky, after TIPKE reads this, they may offer this idea as an accessory. The thought in my mind as i was "customizing" my "ride" was that regreting the day it would be "car jacked" :( Not only does she look good, but really re-inforced it without much added weight. Now if i could only find someone to cut me some custom aluminum wheels on a CNC machine i could start a "fold_it" cart club. :) All in all dont' hesitate, BUY ONE!! ops, one bad note, the rubber "boots" attached to the front legs fell off. If your not going to do the "diamond deck", at the very least use a dab' of silicon caulk to adhere the rubber boots to the legs. happy haulin'

4-0 out of 5 stars Best Thing Going BUT----
This will be our third Foldit. (Amazon's got by far the best price at this moment--) It's a workhorse and still the best thing going that I know of BUT be aware:

1. The tires are flimsy. Get good tubes (if the tires come without them) and get a plastic strip thorn-proofer from a bike shop. It will help. Might as well get a can of flat tire spray, too, if you're going to pull it over anything rough or thorny (like berry prunings).

2. The design has a serious weak point: the rolled sides of the cart (where the handles slide in) will split at the handle-locking rivets if you habitually carry much weight (say 50 lb or so) over rough ground. This is very hard to fix and the split widens until there's a big tear and the handles fall out --permanently. That's what finally did in carts one and two. This time I'm going to try to reinforce the area around the rivets immediately, before they have a chance to start a split. Fold-it seems to outlast expensive wood carts by years despite this flaw.

3. Plan to pull the cart. Pushing as you would a wheelbarrow is hopeless. (A Fold-it is not necessarily a wheelbarrow substitute.) It's handier and better balanced by far than any deep plastic or wood cart I've tried, but it's not good at moving manure or heavy loads into the garden --the tires are narrow and sink into worked soil, and it's not made for turning in place or flipping upside down as you would a wheelbarrow. You can push it down a row empty and pull it out with a light load of weeds or produce, though.

4. You get to balance the load yourself. This is good. Some carts get heavier and pull harder as you load them. Balance the load in a Fold-it so there's weight behind the wheels and you can pull it with one finger, on hard ground.

5. The bed is a convenient height, great for taking to the orchard to bring back with heavy baskets of fruit, to the clothesline with heavy baskets of clothes, from car to kitchen door with mega-loads of groceries. Easy to load because the bed is flat and rectangular, and you don't have to lift heavy dog food bags (for instance) over the sides. You can slide them out the back with the gate off.

6. If you use the Fold-it for hauling hay, compost or weeds, expect to spend some time cleaning the fold lines if you ever need to fold it. Plan ahead if you're taking it to a horse show!

3-0 out of 5 stars it works well WHEN it works, but ...
1.
The plus side is that this thing FOLDS, which saves space during
storage, and which permits it to be carried in a bigger vehicle,
much as a boat supposedly can be carried by a ship.
While the fold feature IS a plus, it also invites p-r-o-b-l-e-m-s
(because moving parts are prone to breakdown and mismatch).
2.
Should the ability of this thing to "go away" (by folding when it
is not needed) not be essential, this reviewer would recommend a
look at the B00011SPU0 (highlight/copy/paste this into "Search").
Although the B00011SPU0 cart does-NOT fold, it has three features
- it has a nice blue color (hey, ya gotta live with it, no?)
- it ships postpaid: i.e., free shipping, though from third party
- it has puncture-proof solid rubber tires, yielding rougher ride
3.
Should you intend to store or use this thing near the seashore, I
suggest that you weigh in the salt air as a factor in the useful
lifespan of your cart. Although the aluminum supposedly* resists
corrosion, there is the (remote?) possibility that the salt air
of an ocean-front location would ROT the aluminum. ROT, not rust.
*"marine grade aluminum"
By way of comparison, the B00011SPU0 has a polyethylene tub; this
plastic is heavy-duty (and non-biodegradable!). The zinc plating
on the B00011SPU0's steel frame (galvanized to resist rust) isn't
permanent, yet your back will probably go out before the cart has
gone to the Road Warrior graveyard.
4.
I omitted one star because aluminum requires obscene amounts of
electricity (uranium or fossil fuel) to manufacture.
The other star is gone because I'd rather hand it to B00011SPU0.
5.
In case you have the determination or patience to forgo WHEELS, I
suggest that you make use of your hip joints to schlep your cargo
-in a SINGLE-wheeled wheelbarrow (more balance, less "footprint")
-in a shoulder-held coolie carrier (twin sides require dexterity)
-in a basket or padded tub atop your head (calls for sobriety)...
6.
Should you intend to use this thing anywhere near motor vehicles,
such as in a driveway or in a campground, please take the time to
affix generous amounts of conspicuous RETROREFLECTIVE tape to all
outer borders of the container. Although MUD and sludge would not
permit the beam of headlights to bounce off the carefully applied
RETROREFLECTIVE tape strips (back to the eyes of the driver), you
still stand a b-e-t-t-e-r chance of saving your Fold-It cart from
being trashed by two tons of steel than by leaving it defenseless
withOUT the 3M tape (preferably canary yellow or zebra-striped).
Apply the tapes BEFORE you first dog the cart, so that the bond
of the adhesive is stronger than when compromised by water/grit.
7.
In order to make your neighbor's cart more attractive to thieves,
mark YOUR cart by either drilling your initials, social, or home
address into a flat panel of the cart. Alternatively, borrow the
"engraving tool" (loaner unit) from your friendly peace officer.
While you're at deterring theft of your cart, take time to also
inscribe a traceable ID onto a hidden part of your nonexpendable
BICYCLES (such as on the underside of the crankshaft): PREVENTION
8.
Hope this review was helpful. Comments welcome to my web address.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very useful and convenient
This is a very useful cart for anyone who has a large yard like mine and lot of leaves and yard waste to haul around. The ability to fold is a big plus. The light aluminium body makes it very easy to pull it with heavy load. I am surprised that Home Depot or Lowes do not sell anything like this. This is definitely more elegant and easier to handle than the typical wheel barrows. I reduced one star for the high price. I think it can be a little cheaper. The 170 dollars price tag is not completely justified. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Tipke Marine Utility Cart
I bought one of these carts about 6 years ago. I am an artist who participates in art and craft shows so I use it to haul my display, canopy and products. It has held up perfectly over the years. It's been the best cart I could have purchased. It folds up small enough to fit in the back of my Toyota Tercel hatchback with plenty of room for everything else. It hasn't rusted or dented. I barely even have to oil the 2 hinged elements (I think I've done that once or twice since purchase). I've loaded it up with sand bags and heavy umberella stands and it takes a lot of weight. All I do is add air to the tires about twice a year. I use it every weekend so it's seen a lot of use. I've had lots of other crafts people ask me where I got it. They all recognize how much better it is than a dolly that requires straps or bungee cords to secure everything in. This is a great price for it... I almost feel like getting another one, but mine is still fine so I don't need it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Comparison of 1300 and 2100 model
I purchased both the 1300 and 2100 model. The 2100 was...more expensive. Other then that the 2100 is painted blue, I was unable to find a difference in the two models. The only actual problem with either cart is that when loading the cart you have to balance some of the weight up near the legs because if you put all the weight by the wheel the cart will tip. ... Amazon.com Review

The Black & Decker Workmate Project Center might just be the item you need to make your home shop complete. Its versatility makes it an especially ideal choice for those with limited shop floor space: use it as a workbench, a bench tool stand, a vise, or a sawhorse, then quickly break it down and store it out of the way. Because it's lightweight and portable, you can move it conveniently wherever it's needed. The one-handed vise clamp system, with its exclusive clutch design, provides quick and easy clamping. The Workmate also features an extra block to expand your work surface, four swivel pegs, and an adjustable front jaw that swings up for vertical clamping. Its legs fold under to provide the lower height and stability needed when you're using it as a base for bench tools, and its all-steel construction and rubber feet ensure a stable, strong work surface that supports up to 550 pounds. All in all, we were pretty impressed. With features like these, it's no wonder the Workmate is a popular choice for light-duty and home shop use. --Tim Block ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Very nice workstation!
I really like this bench. It takes up less room than my previous table and it's extremely sturdy. I tried standing on it just to see if it felt sturdy (this is NOT recommended, by the way). The specs say it holds 550lbs and i believe it. I have sawed wood with a hacksaw, drilled holes in wood, and made keys on this workbench (I'm a student locksmith, which is why I bought this item).

The bench has these posts that stand up high enough to rest boards and other flat items on it so that there's space between the item and the bench. This makes it good for drilling. The three table-top pieces can be used for clamping, but i have not used this feature yet. They are easily moved however, with the hand cranks on the front. My unit came mostly assembled, but the box had been opened so I'm not sure if that's normal or not. (I bought this from Lowe's, not Amazon, for $90.) I think this is best for people who don't need too big a table surface, but need the sturdiness of a larger workbench.

4-0 out of 5 stars solid bench
I bought the Workmate WM425PS project center from a local home center (their price for the Workmate 425, which included a 25 ft. extension cord and multi-outlet power strip was $25 less than Amazon's). I was expecting to spend an hour assembling it but, surprisingly, it was almost completely assembled right out of the box. I only had to put on the plastic handles which took only a minute to install. The stand sets up easily and intuitively and is quite sturdy. For such a stable stand it is not heavy at all, and I could easily carry it from one end of my basement to the other. The owner's manual is almost useless. Illustrations and instructions for assembly and usage are very poor. If it had not come preassembled, figuring out how to put it together would have been difficult. Black & Decker's web site will be of no use for this. However, using the Workmate is fairly intuitive and not that hard to figure out. The Workmate will be a handy work bench for small tasks, and the clamping is acceptable for simple things like holding boards for sawing. The clamp is too flimsy to use for any serious clamping. The stand is solid enough that it could be used for most any portable bench tool like a miter saw, planer, etc.

Overall, I'm glad I purchased this product and will find it useful over time. I suggest that you price around before purchase. I was quite surprised to see that Amazon's price was substantially higher than the local home center.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great portable workbench
This is not a quality cabinate makers work bench. But using this bench you could build one. I got one because I have no room to store a real bench. Besides I like being able to bring a bench to the job vs taking the work back to the garage/shop.

On mine the belt which drives both handles is plastic, but the clamps are steel screws. What this means is that when I start to tighten both handle turn until one starts to skip. That means its time to grasp both handles and tighten. When its skipping it means the plastic belt can't drive the steel screw tighter. Oh well.

It is heavy but on the other hand it holds the work firmly. I'd like a way to one hand open/set it up when lifting vs the two hands and foot I use now.

Anyway I agree after you buy a drill get this.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great idea for small to medium projects
It's strong, sturdy and well-made. It will do just about anything, BUT don't try to use the vise to hold anything that doesn't run the length of the table (length of the vise).

This is what happens when I try to clamp something smaller, or if what you are clamping needs to overhand either the left or right side:

- I was clamping a 2 foot item to enable my saw to cut of the very edge
- opened up clamps, put in item, start cranking to close the clamps
- the clamp on the right side tightened, as expected, but the left side start "skipping"
- the left and right cranks are geared and use a nylon runner to attach the two together. Crank either one in either direction and they both crank.
- this works great when you're clamping something in the middle, or something very long, but in my case, the right side tightended and the left just clicked.
- no big deal I guess, but I was wondering when the nylon runner\belt would break. I stopped before that happened.

So, in summary, I love the table, and I love what it can do. I just feel like I might be limited with it's clamping ability.

2-0 out of 5 stars Heavy Safety Hazard
I have had this workmate 425 for a year and a half. In that amount of time the center part has fallen out on somebody's foot
Three times. You have really tighten it down to prevent this from
happening. Also the short legs on the bottom have collapsed twice
causing it to fall on my foot. This needs to be enginered better.
It is to heavy. Other than those problems it work's ok.Don't stand
on top of this table because of the leg problem. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Wood magazine loves this stand, and for good reason. It is truly high quality, it's hefty and stable, and this XL model is 9 inches wider than its little brother, the SS2875, so it accommodates even the biggest miter saws--up to 36 inches wide. Rugged, industrial locking casters roll smoothly; the wings fold down easily for storage with quick-release hinges if you're short on space. The powder-coated finish will stand up to anything, and the cross-bracing offers added stability. This larger model lets you set a stop all the way out to 84 inches. Optional accessories are available, and we suggest picking up a hand truck kit for extra portability. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Miter Saw Stand
After using my miter saw stand now for years, I have to admitthat it is very well built. It provides great portability around myshop and offers precise cuts using the back fence that came with it. The folks at Rousseau Company have designed a crossbrace kit (model number XB 75XL) which always keeps the stand perfectly square and enhances its stability. END

5-0 out of 5 stars Match your saw to the proper stand
I wanted to add to my other review. It is important to know that the SS2875 is the same exact miter saw stand as the SS2875XL, except that the upper shelf is 9" longer on the XL. Every other part of the SS2875 is exactly the same. Same thick materials, same heavy gauge setup. The manufacturers information ... identifies some of the larger saws Delta 36-235K, Bosch 3912B/3915B, Porter-Cable 3802/3807, Makita LS1211/1212, DeWalt DW705/708 & Milwaukee 6496/6497
... I contacted Rousseau about this, and they reassured me, that they are both the same stand, except for the 9" difference in the shelf-platform. You could use the XL with a smaller saw, but you create a larger distance from your saws base, to the beginning of the extension wings. If you do have the XL with a 10" saw, you may choose to offset the installation to the left, bringing it to within 1/8" of the stop system. Or you could center it, then move the stop measuring system over to the right, to an eighth of an inch of your saws fence. So the XL can work with a smaller saw, although it is best to mate it up with the proper model, to shorten the overall distance from the left and right wings.
I have to say, overall, once you set it up, and calibrate your measuring system, look forward to setting aside your tape measure, with the floppy tab on the end, and drawing a pencil line, that is difficult to decipher. Just set the hairline on your stop system, lay down your board, and cut it to the perfect length.
Rousseau seems to go the extra mile in their engineering, and this stand is a good example of that. Hope this helps.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent but have some patience
I've used this stand for about two weeks now and absolutely love it.

My primary gripe is with the assembly and the instructions. The instructions are cryptic at best and have itty bitty little xerox copies of pictures to reference. Very painful to try to decipher. Also, depending on your saw you may have to drill some extra holes for the fence to fit right and align with your miter saw fence (I had to do this with my Bosch). It took a lot of time for me to assemble this and get it working (about four hours for me) but it works fine.

One of the components was bent in shipping and I called Rousseau and they sent me a replacement without any charge. They were very nice on the phone.

Now the good news. This is an excellent and versatile tool. It is very helpful for smaller shops as it is very easy to move around. The assembly is very sturdy and probably will last forever. The measuring fence (shown on the left side of the unit on the photo) is very accurate and reproducible. This tool really addsa lot of flexibility to the use of a miter saw.

If it weren't for the lousy instructions I would easily give this 5 stars.

5-0 out of 5 stars Another Quality Product
I bought this particular model to mate with my Bosch sliding miter saw. A bit tight on the table-top depth side, but if you follow the instructions your saw will fit. Assembly is fast and easy..again follow the instructions...don't tighten bolts until you are told to do so! Take your time when setting up the stop assembly...yes follow the instructions again...and you'll have unparalleled accuracy. (Would have liked for Rousseau to have included another tape for the front of the stop assembly fence...but tapes are available at the hardware store.) All in all...it costs a couple of dollars more (but so does my Cadillac) than the bargain barn variety and for a couple of dollars more...you have quality and year's of service.

5-0 out of 5 stars This thing is a bear, strong and accurate
At first I was disappointed when opening the box to find that the SS2875XL was black instead of the blue gray as shown in the picture. I like the blue to brighten up the shop. Anyhow, I quickly got over it when I discovered just how substantially this stand is made. Much thicker metal than the stands you see at major retailers.
Assembly is a breeze. It comes with both sides pre-assembled. So the sides with the wings are already attached and ready to go. All you have to do is install the top and bottom trays, the measuring-stop system, and wheels. The trays have two bolts and nuts in each corner. After hand tightening, you use a tape measure, and cross measure to make sure it is square. Then tighten it up. The cross brace keeps it true. Then you turn it over and install the wheels, using a block of wood and a hammer. They are meant to go in an never come out, unless you insist they do. The locking mechanism on the wheels is very accurate. They lock and unlock easily with a foot lever, and it holds the unit true-no moving.
This thing is a monster. When they call it the XL model, that definitely stands for EXTRA LARGE. I love it. When it folds down, it conveniently takes up a lot less space, but when fully extended by simply lifting up the wings on each side, it has a 9 foot width.
The stop system (something they call the stop system, which is actually the well made aluminum track) has two stops and two measuring tapes, one for long stock, and one for short, and they are super heavy duty. No bending a measurement. It has the clear plastic with a hairline measuring line. Everything on this unit is adjustable, so you can set it up accurately, and still tweak it in the future. That is thanks to the quad T-mounting slots under the stop system. Choose which one lines up with the fence on your saw, then for extra adjustment, they provide slotted out grooves, so you can slide the bolts front or back to perfectly align the fence-guide system to your saw. Additionally the wings have a slide adjustment on them so you can tweak them to create a perfectly flat and level stand alongs it's entire 9 foot length. The upper tray that holds your saw, has the same option, multiple mounting holes, and slotting to zero in the final setting, thereby giving you a perfectly flat mating to your saws base.
One thing that is important. I am using a Makita LS1212 on it, and that requires an optional bracket. If your saw is larger than most, check with the listing in Amazon.com's Tool Crib catalogue for the part. It is available via 800 number and phone order with Visa card etc. Even though the table on this unit is large, the Mikita base extends out the back of it. So the optional kit is neccessary. The kit is not available online.
The SS2875XL is not designed for portable use. It does have an optional larger wheel kit, but this thing is 87 pounds. Add to that my 48.5 pound saw, and you can see that hauling around a 120 pound unit, is not what you want to carry up and down the stairs. What this is, is a great unit for the shop. That is what Rousseau calls it in their catalogue that you will get with your stand. They call it a "Shop Style" stand. They have the Porta Max, and the quick fold stand if you want lighter weight, and large wheels. If I had to be portable, I think their portable unit like model 2950 is better made than the lightweight units available on the market. They give you one wing that is the same as the SS2875XL, and the other wing is like the single roller that you see on the Dewalt stands on both sides. On the left side wing, you can get the optional stop system-measuring, which is very accurate, probably the most accurate of the portables. It also gives you the advantage of a left side rack that you can place all different size boards on without having to readjust a single roller every time. It is a complete wing like the shop stand.
So there you have it. What are your needs? It would be nice to have the shop space, and be able to install a permenant miter saw with complete support out both sides. That takes up a lot of space. On the other end of the spectrum is the super lightweight portables, that are more limited in their usability, and without built in measuring systems. The SS2875XL is the ultimate answer for handling space concerns, and still getting dead on accuracy. It rolls around so easily, and is relatively compact with the wings folded down. The wings fold down so easily, with a single stop button that needs to be pushed in, and holds very well. I pop the wings up and down, just for the fun of doing it, it is that easy. It is also a super accurate stand, in holding up substantial pieces of wood, (I wouldn't hesitate to put a 12 foot 2x12 on it for cutting) and still give you hairline cutting accuracy when you want to build furniture or make any type of cut. That's quite an accomplishment. My hat is off to Rousseau. This is one first class piece of equipment. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Beautifully engineered
I waited a month to get this from Amazon but it was worth it. This is a precision machine, well engineered and a pleasure to work with. If you are someone who takes pride in having good tools and knowing how to use them, this is one of those premium products that will make others envious. The instructions were good, all the parts were there. It will take you about 1-1/2 to 2 hours to assemble. My Hitachi 10" fit perfectly on it. There are cheaper stands out there, none as nice.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Workstation I've found.
This stand is wonderful. Assembly was a bit cumbersome, but overall, this is a very sturdy stand. I bought the T3 for my DeWalt DW708 12" Miter saw and when I put it on the stand, it handled it without a problem. Not shakey or tippy like I'd noticed with the other stands due to the saws heavy weight.

The instructions for assembly were not all that great. And any signs of how to use or adjust the stands attachments weren't evident. One problem during assembly was the wheels.. It isn't clear which way the 4 bolts should be positioned. I believe the bolts should be mounted with the head on the inside and the nuts on the outside, although I did it the reverse with the nuts on the inside. And this cause a problem with the legs folding out properly. I ended up drilling holes in the legs to accommodate the nuts, allowing the legs to open fully. However, I believe if I had reversed the nuts to the outside, I may not have had this problem....well, at least I wouldn't have had to drill very large holes. Wasn't very smart engineering..

Outside of that minor setback, after I got it together, it looked very nice, sturdy and professional. A very quality workstation and I know tools. This one is top of the line of anything available today.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Engineering, Love the T3!
I was at first hesitant to lay out my hard earned money for a piece of equipment that I thought I would only use once in a while. Was I ever wrong! The engineering on this miter saw stand is brilliant. I do not agree with the other reviewer below, that stated the wheels obstructed the folding legs. This is impossible unless he installed the wrong size bolts for the wheel plate. It took me about 2 hours to assemble (I was pretty meticulous in my assembly). Instructions were well written and illustrated, but could be a little confusing on some steps. My Porter Cable 12" Twin Laser miter saw fits like an italian leather glove due to the ingenious mounting system. The only thing I would change on the design would be to increase the wheel base to make transporting the saw stand even easier. It tends to tip when on rough ground. However the unit is light enough to carry by hand (almost like a laser tripod). Very solidly constructed. You can tell that a lot of engineering went into this product. Handled 16' 2x6 redwood with no problems. I am now starting to do crown molding and my wife can't wait for the results. I wish all tools were made this well. Highly recommended!

4-0 out of 5 stars GREAT PRODUCT -- SMALL FLAW
I recently purchased a Hitachi Universal Workstation which is actually the TracRac T3 in Hitachi clothing. I used it to trim out a new house, cutting hundreds of feet of trim and moulding. It works great and is very sturdy...except a part known as a "end cap" -- a piece of brittle plastic used as a stop for the telescoping arms. The first one broke in my bare hands -- which I thought must be a fluke, the second broke the first time the extension arm reached the stop.

It has taken me awhile just to figure out that the Hitachi I bought is actually the TracRac -- so I am going to give their customer service a chance, otherwise this would be a 5 star review.

I really like how easy it easy to remove the saw from the stand and to fold up and store the stand.

3-0 out of 5 stars Trackrack 24322 - Poorly engineered design
The stand worked OK once assembled. However the assembly is not without its problems. There were washers missing or the wrong size, and the wheel set attachment is a bear to install because the nut can hardly be grabbed for tightening. What is more upsetting though is that after installing the wheels the support legs on that side interfere with the screws and cannot be securely locked in place for the upright position. That forces you to drill two holes in the aluminum legs. The work stand is a good concept that is poorly engineered in my eyes. The stand also has a leg-span that makes it rather difficult to work in compact spaces. However once you get things corrected it seems to work fairly well. It the execution were better this could be a 5 star product. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars High Quality Generator.
This Dewalt generator is ,without question, one of the nicest on the market. It's level of design, preformance and finish is the best available today. I have used many generators, from various manufactures and I would say that this Dewant unit compares with the super-duty,heavy construction, units I've used. You can't go wrong.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Little Generator I Have Seen (In a class of its own)
As always, DeWalt exceeded my expectations. This gem arrived in perfect condition. Once I had completed assembly and added oil and fuel, I gave a very light tug on the rope to get a feel for how much resistance it would offer. It started! Have only had it a few weeks, but it works just as advertised. The automatic idle is a very nice feature which really keeps noise down when there is no load. Note - be sure to follow instructions, since the generator is shipped without oil. If you like to jump ahead, do not put in fuel or oil before assembling wheels and lifting hook. ... Read more
