beautiful glow!!!!!
I love this lamp. My sisters gave me 2 of these for my birthday. They are on the nightstands beside my bed. They have such a warm amber glow, because of the shade. If you're into warm and cozy this is a great lamp!

Surprising Durable
My husband and I collect mica light fixtures. This accent lamp was an early addition. We had wanted a previous line offered at Target, but they changed what they carried. This lamp does not offer a lot of light, but it has a warm, sophisticated glow to add to a den or study. When our cat was younger he jumped from the window onto the lamp knocking it on the floor at least twice. The bulb has broken, but the lamp and shade remains unscaithed. It is a good thing we like this lamp because it will be around for a long time.

Great Accent Lamp
I bought this lamp after searching for an accent lamp for my living room. I would recommend this lamp to anyone with a room needing a little light from a cool looking piece to accent a small area. I did find it inappropriate for reading though.

GREAT LAMP
I received two of these lamps off of my wedding registry at Target. I absolutly love them. I use them in my bedroom and they put off such a nice warm glow. I use a 60 watt bulb and have been able to read by them. Great lamp for a great price. I'm planning on purchasing the Shepherd Floor Lamp-Mica, which is similar, to add the nice warm glow to my living room.

Very cool!
I ordered two of these lamps to go with my bamboo themed bedroom. They arrived within a week of my order, and I plugged them in right away and was very pleased. The inner material gives the light a soft glow. They are bigger than I thought from the photo online. Also very pleased that they were touch lamps...no more fumbling in the dark to turn on a switch. Three settings for brightness....all in all, great product. I love Target.

GREAT VALUE!
I bought this several months ago and have used it as both a family room mood/reading light, and now on a bookcase in my hallway (as a nightlight for my kids--on the lowest setting). I love that you can adjust the brightness 3 levels--it allows you to set the hall lighting to low at bedtime, and higher when needed. It's also much easier to use a 'touch lamp' for a fixture located atop a bookcase. This lamp is functional, practical, well-made, and a valuable addition to any contemporary decor.

Worth the price
This is a very nice lamp. I decided to decorate my bedroom in a somewhat Asian decor, with a minimal budget. I purchased some matchstick blinds for my windows, and this lamp is a perfect accent piece that sits on a small table between the 2 windows. I love the touch base feature, it works very well, and it allows you to set the perfect mood for whatever room you decide to use it in. I plan to buy a couple more. ps: I just bought the lamp yesterday for $19.99, and now it's on sale for $16.99. Oops.

Fantastic AND Romantic!
Got this yesterday and absolutely love it!!! Extremely attractive and gives off just the right amount of light needed for any atmosphere with its 3 light settings. The touch-base feature is very convenient and fun to use! Great buy! I'm getting more!

I, too, didn't know that it was a touch-base lamp (it's not in the store description)!!!!! Now that I know that it is, and I don't have to unplug it constantly - I LOVE IT!!!! I'm going to buy 2 more (the 1 I've purchased is on my bookcase; now I need 1 for my night stand and 1 for my breakfast counter (which opens to my dining room). Great value! Great looks!
I saw this lamp here online but then purchased two of them at my local Target. I had read other reviews in advance and it sounded favorable. We have a new home and we're looking for a contemporary look. For an affordable price, these add that look to a room. Goes with any decor with brushed nickel, stainless or chrome. Also Asian inspired looks. These reside in a guest room on two small night stand tables. They have a small *footprint*. I love the look of the crackle glass. I think the 3 way lighting is great. The first setting is like candlelight and would make a great light to leave on at night. The 3rd setting is enough to read by in bed. Overall very satisfied with my purchase. One drawback: you can't hook them up to the light switch near the bedroom doorway, since they are touch lamps. Once the power is off, you have to touch them again to activate them.

Great Buy - try different bulbs
I bought two lamps for my bedroom a month ago and I love them. I noticed some people had problems with the light flickering or not turning on. My suggestion is to try a different lightbulb. I almost went back to the store to return mine before I realized that the spiral fluorescent bulbs I placed in mine were the culprit. For some reason, those bulbs were just not compatible and made them flicker and sometimes not turn on (plus made a annoying buzzing noise). So if you are having that problem, try a tradition incandescent bulb and that may nix the problem. Other than that, no problems since, even with daily use. I would suggest this lamp to anyone looking for a stylish, versatile lamp without a big price-tag.

Very Nice Lamps
I bought a pair of these for the dresser in the guest room. I liked the clean lines, and the brushed nickel base, which goes with the drawer pulls on the dresser. <br /><br />I had thought I had seen these at the local Target, but apparently not, as these were a bit bigger than the ones I remember. <br /><br />Because of the touch-dimmer, you should only use incandescent bumbs in these things (60W max.). Fluorescent bulbs won't work right. <br /><br />In any event, I'm very pleased with them.

Great Night-Stand Lamp!
It's great in the morning when you're not ready for the "big light". The touch base has three levels of lighting, and it looks really nice too. <br />At this price and free shipping...it was a great purchase!

Disappointed!
Finally decided to buy the lamp online after reading most of the reviews and not finding the lamp at local Targets. It was for my daughter's room. Package arrived promptly from target.com, set it up, plugged it in. The lamp flickered like crazy. I have bought other lamps from Target before...I must have gotten a lemon.
