A Great Lift for Your Sagging Gate!
This is a very simple kit to install and adjust on a wooden gate. The instructions are illustrated with clear diagrams on the back of the package.

The two, wrap-around corner brackets are installed and then the turnbuckle is hung from the top one and the cable attached to the turnbuckle. The other end of the cable is looped through the bottom bracket and the turnbuckle is tightened. Cable clamps secure the cable at each end.

All you need to install this are screwdrivers and an adjustable wrench. If your gate is sagging really badly, you may want to lift place a block or wedge under the free end before securing the cable. This will allow greater adjustment with the turnbuckle. You should also loosen the turnbuckle completely before attaching the cable.

This should outlast the gate it's installed on. It would even be worth installing on a brand new gate to prevent future problems. ... Read more
