Ingenuity at its Best, Genius Time and Money Saver
As a drywall contractor, portable lighting is crucial to my job.I bought one of these wobble lights to try out a few months ago.While it costs a little more than regular tripods, the light provides more light than several traditional lights and I can vouch it will last longer than any light I have ever used. To anyone that can appreciate a true work light, this is the light for you.When working on a two story home before the railings were installed, not only did this light illuminate the entire upper floor but when accidentally knocked down the stairs, the thing stayed lit and suffered no damage whatsoever.The size may be a little different but instead of carrying 3 or 4 tripods I only have to carry one wobble light which makes up for it.Not to mention any standard light would have crashed after the stair accident and had to be replaced.What a great invention.

Never buy another one.
Bought several of these light a couple years ago and they STILL WORK!!!Unlike regular tripods which break and need constant bulb replacement, these things last.The one time cost will more than pay for the 10 tripod lights you would need to replace over the length of any project.Not only the replacement cost but the cost to replace the bulbs or fix regular tripods make this light a great deal.I highly recommend trying one and am sure you will want more.

Wobble light on job site
I have used one of these for about one year.The unit does everyting that it claims to.The bulb is almost indestructiable.I have knocked, dropped it, and generallt abused it.I have changed the bulb (propriteray only) once.I love the light it gives, the recations are excelletnt.( Is thata bouy?)The only drawbacks anre that it is a bit hard to carrry, and store as it is a bit bulky.Otherwise I love it. ... Weebles Wobble but they don't fall down.
What a great light, I wrote a review on the flourescent model WL120F, then I got this model with the Metal Halide bulb, WOW.This light has all the tough features of the other Wobble Lights but it also throws some SERIOUS LIGHT.It is so powerful it really lights up a large work area. We have knocked this thing around and it pops right back upright, no harm done.The bulb has a spring around it so it is protected from getting broken. It also has a cooling fan to keep the bulb cool.The poly dome gives you great light defusion without getting hot.This is really a great light.Why didn't I think of this. ... Read more

Wow, what an incredible light.I bought one of these Wobble Lights and I am very impressed.You can bump (smash) into it and it bounces right back, it really takes a beating.Not only that, but it also is cool to the touch.I can't count how many times I have been burned by the old tri-pod style work lights. I Like It
Overall: This is a very good portable light. It practically turns night into day wherever you point it and for a good deal of the peripheral area around your targeted area, if that makes sense.

Pros: Really, really bright. There's no hype there. This thing is like two car headlamps strapped together and placed in your hand.

The sealed lead-acid batteries (there are two, one in the bottom "block" and one in the upper part behind the lamps themselves) are strong, reliable, and long-lasting.

Cons: It's somewhat heavy for one-handed operation, but it comes with an optional strap which you can throw over your shoulder to have to keep from supporting the entire weight with your hand. It may sound awkward as I describe it, but it works very well.

The fit-and-finish is only "average". It's made overseas like so many things these days, and some of the labels, ports/connectors feel less than optimal, but I consider this criticism to be a nit. The things I've mentioned are really only aesthetic and don't affect the light's performance.

And a caution: The lens gets very very hot after use, so you need to store it with that in mind until it cools down after several minutes.

Conclusion: Highly recommended. If you need powerful, portable light, this is it.

BEST LIGHT EVER
This is without a doubt, no question, the best flashlight in the world. This light should not even be considered a flashlight. It looks like a helicopter is shining at whatever you are pointing this thing at. It is that powerful. This will shine up anything you want, for up to one mile away. It is absolutely amazing. You will never be short of light again with this flashlight/helicopter spotlight. Buy it today.

Mega Disappointment
This item was advertised as shipping within 1-2 days. In fact, 11 days passed before it was shipped. It took a total of 14 days to arrive from the time I placed my order. Amazon's poor customer service was matched by the mediocre quality of this item. It's bright, but poorly made and so heavy it is awkward to use. I advise avoiding Amazon.com and this item.

The Best Spotlight on the Market
I've had this spotlight for almost two years and I've never have any problems. First of all I believe it's the brightest customer spotlight on the market. It comes with two bulbs 1.5 million candlepower each. I suggest just having one bulb on at a time because it still is much brighter than you'll probably need for most cases and it more than doubles battery time. Speaking of which is great. I've never done any tests but with average use I charge it about once a month. The area light on it is great. It's much much brighter than most flashlights and because it only uses a fraction of the power than the twin beams do you can easily get 20 to 30 hours on a single charge. Also one thing I don't know if was mentioned in the product preview is that it works as a 12-volt car plug in. Which means anything you can plug into your car (i.e. cell phone, CD player) can be plugged in to the front DC charger. So you can run your cell phone or something off this thing. You can get an adapter and change this into a normal household plug in. Overall, this is a perfect for pretty much anyone.

peace of mind
I bought this item originally for my boyfriend who lives in a very secluded area and very often has power outages.

We have used it on an unexpected night sailing trip and numerous other occasions. All around it is really handy and very powerful.

this thing is great!
Pretty sweet piece of kit. Suspends from the ceiling well, the rectracting assembly works well. Some people may complain that it is only 16 gauge, but it works well for quick jobs in a workshop.

after using infrequently for 6 months the switch broke , rendering the light useless. Have not been able to track the company down for a replacement.

Great and powerful 'candle'.
This is a greal spotlight. I can not attest to it being seen 2 miles away, but it does light up a room in a cave from no light to no need for your flashights powerful. As the other reviewer I also give this 4 stars only due to its very extended charge time, more than half a day. After all that time being recharged, you get only 30 minutes of use. But I still like this spotlight very much, it is, was, one of 3 I had in my duffle bag. It does have a stronger ,brighter brother that I like better only for it being waterproof.

One extremely bright light!
I have to say that this light is extreme, it's so bright that it lights up the entire block when I turn it on!! The only bad thing about it is the extremely loooooooooong charging time, it has to charge 18 hours for only 30 minutes of use!
