5-0 out of 5 stars Second Review
Last November I placed this bag in use. It still is not full but I have managed to load it to 70-80 lbs. This bag carries all of the immediate hand tools I use. This bag is rugged, well designed, roomy and has lasting value. It still maintains its' shape even with a heavy load. Turn it over, drop it or kick it around; it still keeps its shape, the zippers funtion great and nothing inside is damaged or falls out. Great product and I will probably order another just to balance out the weight of the contents.

1-0 out of 5 stars Overbuilt for me
I'd give this bag 5 stars for the fact that it's built like a brick SH, you get mucho durability for your money. But I returned mine. The shipping weight alone should have tripped a circuit in my brain - 8 lbs! This is a heavy bag. If all you do is lug this from the tailgate to the jobsite - say 30 to 50 ft - you'll love it. It'll outlast you. But I work in NYC apartments and haul a lot of what I have to use to the site - and up many stairs. Plus, the design of this bag begs to be loaded with all the tools you have - even the ones you don't need or use anymore. When it arrived, I had an epiphany...I need 3 or 4 bags (lighter bags) loaded with specific tools for specific jobs - take what I need, leave the rest. If it fits your style of work I'm sure you wouldn't be dissatisfied with the Veto bag - but it wasn't for me. I wish the company made a bag that was ½ to a 1/3 the size/weight. I'd keep that one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Close to perfect
Heavy duty and shoulder strap makes it easy to carry for long distances. Plus the various sized pockets inside are great. I still recommend using a small utility box for screws and such, which can easily fit inside the bag. There is only one complaint that I have. There is no max weight limit and considering the size of the bag I easily had 45lbs. of tools that I was carrying which eventually cracked the handle on top of the bag after a year. This was a minor problem as I repaired it with heavier duty material. I still highly praise this bag.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Bag
Received this bag several weeks back and have been using it on the job with great success. I used to haul tools around in two individual bags and always had to "fish" for the item needed. This one bag holds everything my two other bags held but now there is more than enough room for additional hand tools and they are much better organized. I have yet to "fill up" this new bag and I can carry it with one hand; this bag is much better engineered.

I hope the guy that perfected this bag is working on other new innovations; I am anxious to see his next idea.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nothing else like it
As a remodeling contractor, I've also tried many different tool boxes/bags and none of them have been satisfactory...until now. This tool bag is very well designed and well made. Some might consider it alittle spendy, but like any quality tool, you get what you pay for. My old $50 bag was nothing but a dust catcher. You don't have to worry about being disappointed with this bag...there's nothing out there like it. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Not the best workmanship but the price is right
The quality of the wood and workmanship of this chest is a little better than the typical "made-in-China" quality. But the hardware is pretty low-grade. Having said that, what you do get is a pretty solid (it survived UPS unscathed) utility chest with velour-lined drawers that fit and slide nicely. It is now housing my woodworking measuring instruments. Recommended.

2-0 out of 5 stars Sisco MTV7 Solid Hardwood Utility Chest
I am disappointed with the quality of the product. The finish is poor quality. It is not uniform in color or application. The hardware is poor quality. The buyer must install the pull knobs, which is okay, but the screws were too long. I had to find and add some washers so they would tighten. The side handles do not match. One raises above horizontal, the other does not reach horizontal. A nail, intended for one of the drawer slide rails was inserted above the rail and was scoring the drawer.

Solid Hardwood must be the name used to define the laminated fiberboard. From the outside, it appears the chest is constructed from real wood. If you remove the drawers and look inside, you find that the drawer bottoms, the side panels, back panels and bottom are fiberboard.

The top compartment and the drawers are lined with something similar to felt. They hold the material in place by way of an adhesive. Wrinkles have formed due to improperly sized fabric.

Finally, when the top is closed the drawers are not secured. You must take extra care to prevent drawers and contents from dumping when moving the chest.

4-0 out of 5 stars value priced chest
purchased this chest for a fishing friend to store fly tying materials within and he is pretty pleased to have it. he said that it was something that he would take good care of but that was not an heirloom piece. I thought that description fit what I was needing just about right. thinking to order one for myself at this time so it must be good enough for the purpose intended.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Chest for the price
I read all the reviews on this item and just wanted to add my 2 cents worth. I got mine last week. It was shipped with no problems. Everything was there, nothing was broken. They obviously got the oil problem taken care of because mine was just perfectly finished. It's not a Gershner box, but you didn't pay $500 for it either. It's a good place to put your "critical" tools so they don't get damaged. For $50 bucks, it's a good buy. I had no problems what so ever.

4-0 out of 5 stars I can't believe these negative reviews!!!
When I decided to purchase this chest, I had real reservations based on the negative reviews. Well, I got mine in the mail today and I LOVE IT! It's exactly what I expected. No, it's not solid oak with real brass and velvet...those chests cost hundreds of dollars, remember? But it's heavy, sturdy, NOT broken, bent, cracked, whatever else they said about it. It's real wood, and just perfect for my tools. I'm ordering the smaller model next. If you don't want to pay a lot and you want a great storage chest, this is your best buy! ... Read more

    Amazon.com Review

Constructed of durable, rip-proof fabric, the new 56-pocket organizer from Bucket Boss improves on what was already a great idea. Unlike the toolboxes of old, the Bucket Boss organizer stores tools where they're visible and easy to access. And, with 38 exterior pockets and 18 more on the inside, the Bucket Boss really does have a place for just about everything. We've loaded ours down with wrenches, handsaws, screwdrivers, hammers, pry bars, pencils, utility knives, pliers, and drill bit sets. There's even a padded pocket for your cordless drill. We quickly discovered, however, that depending on how you load it, the Bucket Boss can get a little top-heavy. After ours tipped over in the back of our truck, we reloaded it with our hammerheads down, and it hasn't tipped since. We recommend the Bucket Boss 56 for remodelers, carpenters, electricians, repair people, or any other professional who brings a lot of hand tools to the job; it also makes the perfect tool kit for do-it-yourselfers moving through the house from room to room and project to project. --Jon Groebner ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome
I purchased this item for my husband and he couldn't have been more pleased. The deep pockets held all his tools securely with room to spare. He said it is the best tool organizer he ever had. Then he tossed his toolbox. :) I have since bought several of these for different male birthdays, all with the same results. Excellent!! Note: Bucket Boss is extremely sturdy. The canvas and seams are very well put together. You can load this up with no worries.

5-0 out of 5 stars It's not a top number in the Amazon Sales rank for nothing
At first I bought this as a novelty. Not realizing that it was to change the way I organize my workspace. Normally I rely on peg boards in my shop to house the usual screw drivers, hammer, and frequently used tools. The problem with that is that they don't usually get put away, unless I do a complete shop clean up. Which is why I have to go looking for them. My number one pet peeve is looking for stuff. Not only is is wasted time, but it interrupts my work flow. Now I use the Bucket Boss 56 Organizer to house all of my most frequently used tools, and I bring my tools to the work. I also went to Sears and bought an INEXPENSIVE red metal Utility Cart that has four substantial wheels in a shopping cart configuration (two fixed, two universal) and they all lock, with a tray shelf at the bottom, and one at the top. I put the Bucket Boss in the bottom tray, which only takes up part of the lower tray space. In it, is everything imaginable, and after using it for awhile, I know right where it is. The best way to get the work flow going, is to be able to grab what you need, when you need it, and it is there every time, and have a place to rest it, or immediately put it away. With this combination, I roll the tools over to the work area, and I have an upper shelf to set things on during the project. It wouldn't be possible without the bucket boss.
With mechanics tools, we use a multi-drawer tool box. Since everything is hidden, it takes some time to learn exactly where everything is. With the Bucket Boss, you have a reminder, everytime you glance at it.
My only complaint is that their are so many pockets I can't justify buying another one. :-) That's how much I like this thing.
Knowing that I can simply lift the bucket boss out of the bottom tray using the handle that comes with the bucket, and take it with me no matter where I go, gives me the mobility, and organizational system I use in the shop and on the go! One system, one set of tools, for all locations. The cart is so light, I wouldn't hesitate to take it along as well.
By the way the Bucket Boss does not come with the bucket, but considering the cost of a 5 gallon white plastic bucket at [the store], that is not a major item. I know it would probably cost more to ship the bucket than it would to buy one locally. So it makes sense.
For on the job, it makes a very good impression. It looks organized. Combine this with one of their parts organizers, and you will not only, not have to go looking for your tools, that washer, locknut, screw, bolt, or anything else you want, will be at your fingertips as well. No having to run back out to the truck everytime I need a bolt, or nut, or screw, etc.
I can tell you it is made out of great material that will last for a long long time, or that the pockets are multi-sized and shaped to fit near anything you may use, but what I really want to tell you is that this thing is engineered. Engineered to simplicity. That makes it one of the most frequently used pieces of equipment. It is great because it works. Not just because it is very inexpensive, for all of the utility, you will get out of it, but because it works, and works well. Get into the Boss and watch your productivity zoom!

5-0 out of 5 stars who gets custody if we divorce???
I love this tool organizer!!! I bought it for my husband for Christmas because I thought it looked cool. He didn't seem interested in it, so I took it and began using it for my own tools (we each keep our own set), and then he fell in love with it too! I was continually having to go find my tools because he had swiped them, bucket and all. So I went to Home Depot and bought him a bucket organizer they had in stock, different brand. A week later he's whining about how he likes mine better, so since I bought it for him in the first place, I switched with him and now he has the good one. I think I need to order a second one because he's right -- the other brand is not as good as this one. Damn good thing I love him so much, but if we split, I want custody!! This is a great product.

5-0 out of 5 stars Surreal!
It is simply mind boggling how useful and efficient this item turned out to be. It holds all but the longest handtools (2 foot plus levels, etc)with easy access. Of course, nothing is perfect, so here are my suggestions for future improvements: deeper bellows on a couple of the lower tier pockets and a shallow series of slots for mini screwdrivers (smaller screws seem to be the latest trend). This could be done by replacing the elastic strap at the upper edge with a looped belt of the same basic material as the Bucket Boss

5-0 out of 5 stars Sweet product...
Hey, this IS a great product just like most ALL of the other reviewers have indicated and regarding the idiot "A home improvement enthusiast from Eugene, Oregon" and her "Where's the bucket?" remarks... Come on are you a total F---ing moron or what!? ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Needs at least 1 or 2 shelves included
This is a solid body storage building exactly as advertised. My goal was to store a mower, trimmer, blower, gas and miscellaneous items. I had to build a shelf (not included) notch it to fit and install it before putting roof in place. It works great for gas and miscellaneous items leaving room for taller items but they must be tilted some. If you have a mower with retractable handles (which I do not) it will fit in this building. (So mower is still out) Other than that it has cleared up the mess in the back and locks the flammables up too.

Be careful to read instructions because it would be very difficult to take pieces apart after clicked into place.

If you are planning to store a mower I would recomend a larger unit just for ease of use. This one is great for a lot of gardening supplies but I think they should provide at least 2 or more shelves.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good inside design for maximum usage
You can put up to 6 shelves inside to fully use all the cubic space available. But you may just need 4 and leave the lower two open for big size items to be stored. Rubbermaid has a similar size shed but it can only accept three shelves and waste a lot of spaces. The Rubbermaid shed uses much fewer pieces to assembly than this one. The assmbly is pretty easy if you follow the manu but it does take some time (1-2 hours). After I finished the assembly there were some rain and the inside was try except a couple of water drops. The only concern is its sturdiness since it's assembled with 28 pieces and so far so good. I don't expect it can stand a ternado or hurricane. One thing I wan to alert you: when you buy the shelves do measure the inside and ignore the manu since if you buy the side according it yuo will find the shelves will shift too much to the left or right. You want them more stable, right?

5-0 out of 5 stars Mullet not required!
Mullet Buster? Interesting name - great tool belt. I bought this primarily because of the padded suspenders. I don't like standard tool belts which fall down after a while unless you tighten them up well, which doesn't feel comfortable to me. The suspenders put the weight on your shoulders which works better for me. It also looks impressive!

An insane amount of storage pockets are on this belt, and the cell phone pocket on the suspenders (which do come off by the way) is handy. It puts the phone closer to where you can hear it. I used to hate never hearing my phone when strapped to my waist in an noisy environment. Actually, there is a second phone pocket around the waist area, which is handy if you have a cell phone and a 2-way radio, you can protect them both. Clever!

I'd definately recommend this tool belt. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Everybody Is Different
I thought I would like this tool system. I have all the same complaints about my old tool belt as everyone else. Hurts the lower back, makes bending difficult, etc.... This suspender system seemed like a good idea, and it is. Just not for me. I tried it around the house for a few hours and noticed that when I reached over my head, the stiff shoulder pads pushed on the sides of my neck, though these may get softer with wear. And that my shoulder muscles had to lift the entire weight of the bags when reaching upwards.
Also, these bags are BIG and WIDE! You will have to be careful if you are a remodel carpenter, walking through finished doorways and hallways.
Still, this rig is very well made and if you need to carry lots of heavy tools and want to give your lower back and your waist a rest, this may work for you. It's a trade off.

3-0 out of 5 stars Take Carefull Consideration!!
I purchased this belt set last January and I was impressed with how it relieved the stress on my lower back. I was also relieved of waist rot from conventional tool belts. The suspenders were easy to set up with the instructions included. Break in takes about a full week. Pouches do hold lots of tools.
As hotter weather came along, the suspenders hold a lot of sweat (later they began to smell). But I also noticed it was very uncomfortable when the suspenders wouldn't allow for your upper body to cool off. My shoulders also began to chaf.
As for movement, the system doesn't cling to you. But working in very close quarters, (i.e. lifts, steel joists, some scaffolding, etc.) it was easy to get hung up and scrape against walls.
I am considering selling my suspension belt, but pondering the fact that its not a bad set to own if you switch between this system and the belt a few times a year. That way I wouldn't wear out body parts to quickly.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Best Available
I owned the pro framer for years; then sold it to a helper for $... and he was happy. I bought the Pro Trimmer but was disapointed because the speed square holster (between the small and large bag) was not available on a rig of this size. After awhile I forked over the big bucks for the Stronghold System-the best there is. Oh I've read the reviews:adjustment-if you can't adjust this system you probably shouldn't be doing carpentry;the yoke; heavy duty, extreme quality products take time to break in-like good leather work boots or the Carhartts that last longer than anything else; the back strain relief; a no brainer-buy a weight belt and wear it along with the system-there is no belt to interfere; lastly, if you wear a framing belt in a finished house or around cabinets your going to mess something up-don't do it-I build cabinets and built-ins and do general carpentry for a living. The only criticism I have(the part about the missing star)is that this product should be available with the lightweight, green leather bags. After 1 year the nylon shows signs of extreme wear at the front corners. If Occidental Leather would do this for us I would be one of the first to buy them even for $... . I will wear this for as long as I work! The writing is on the wall; perfect this product and it will be a five star masterpiece second to none.

5-0 out of 5 stars I Love it!
I have the Stronghold system in leather, which [is no longer listed]... I think it is first rate in functionality and comfort, and wouldn't return to a belt. I think you have to analyze your needs and body type carefully: this system isn't always going to work better, for instance reaching up can be tiring, though that is true of suspender. If you have the kind of body that rides a belt, without suspenders, and it never shifts, binds, or restricts your breath, good for you, stay with the belt. It takes, however, only a few inches on the waist, whether from brownies or winter clothes for me to be hauling on a belt all day long.

Another issue to look at is back pain. This system puts all the strain on your shoulders, were it flows down through your spine, and you don't have a big belt supporting the small of your back. That works out better with my back pain, but it may not for yours.

I am 6'1", and I have no problem fitting this strap set. I like my knuckles to drag in the bottom of the deepest nail bag, which is a higher setting than many prefer. The bags by themselves are unique, and would fit nicely on a safety harness if the inspector prowls your worksite.

4-0 out of 5 stars Beltless tool bag review
    Whats good:

    1. The bag is made of very durable materials and should stand up to many years of jobs site use. 2. There are plenty of pockets to hold small items such as tape, pencil, knife, screw drivers, etc. at very convenient reach. 3. Slips on and off in seconds. 4. Allows the user to bend at different angles with out being confined by a belt around the waist. 5. Pouches are less likely to spill contents when working at different bent over positions. 6. Two large pockets to hold larger sized tools.

    Whats not so good:

    1. The system is difficult to adjust for use the first time out of the box. (Set up is done only once so this is a minor pain only) 2. The shoulder pads, although very comfortable, will get dreanched with sweat if you work in the heat. (I need to think of something for the odor?) 3. The system does not remove weight from your lower back as I had thought it might. You can carry a ton of tools with this system, but you will feel it by the end of the day.

I install siding, windows and do general carpentry. This bag gives me flexiblity and capacity that I didn't get with my old belt. I like the system and would recommend it to people that feel confined by belts or that are looking for a good capacity well organized system.

    Amazon.com Review

Bags like Bucket Boss's GateMouth are becoming more and more popular with contractors these days. They're much lighter than conventional toolboxes and, with advances in material technology, they hold up to rigorous on-the-job use. For the Pro Super GateMouth model, Bucket Boss uses its Boss Tex ballistic fabric--tightly woven and extra thick, this stuff holds up to continuous abuse from sharp edges and points. The Pro Super GateMouth has 39 exterior pockets and 10 interior, and comes with adjustable outside straps for quick access to a level or long-handle tool. It also has a beefy shoulder strap; a reinforced, super-wide opening; reinforced handles; and an identification window, so you don't mistake yours for your buddy's. Very portable and very flexible, the GateMouth is worth considering if you're in the market for a new tool "box." --Jonathon Tudor ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Bag, Great Price
I just bought this bag for my husband who is always out working on cars or doing some kind of mechanical/electrical/plumbing favors for friends and family. Up until now, he puts all the equipment and tools he needs for each job in plastic Giant grocery bags to carry from one place to the other.

I saw this bag and thought it would be great for him to use instead of those grocery bags.

This bag has a place for his level, a loop to hold the electrical tape he is always misplacing, a place for a small flashlight, his tape measurer can just slide on to the front and there are so many pockets for tools and enough room to basically hold anything he needs to take with him.

For what he does and the tools he takes with him, it's the perfect size - not too big and not too small. And it's got to be more comfortable carrying than those grocery bags that eventually tear on him or get holes in them.

Also, it's a really nice looking bag. Very professional yet still rugged looking.

My husband really liked the look of the bag and thinks he will be able to put it to alot of use.

The only thing that would be nice for this bag are little plastic feet on the bottom. That way you don't have to worry about putting the bag on the floor and getting it wet or dirty...

All in all, this is a great looking and very usable bag.

My husband and I were both impressed when we received it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Nice
After having most of my frequently used tools lost around the house, I finally have an excellent (and big) bag to keep them and transport them in. When it is open, the top is wide and flat like a box so you can see everything. Lots of pockets. The material is tough and flexible and will last me forever.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Best I Have Found, But Still Not The Best
I bought this bag to consolidate some of the 4-5 toolboxes I have been using (including one of their smaller models).

I purchased this based on the performance of the smaller bag that I have and it has preformed amazingly well (Three years of weekend use carrying way more than it was supposed to, without a rip or other problem.)

I got this bag and was really excited to try it out. I started stuffing things in the pockets and quickly found out that I had to be careful what I put where. I put a small pen light in one pocket and it made it impossible to put anything in three other pockets (including one on the inside.)

Even so this thing can hold quite a bit. Right now it has almost all of my carpentry tools, a set of electric tools, a few plumbing tools and various assorted other things. It basically swallowed two toolboxes I was already using.

I wouldn't recommend this for the mechanic as it does not seem like it would do well with wrenches and sockets, but for the handyman or carpenter it cannot be beat.

The size is great, you'll always have room in the bag to dig for tools, because it you fill it you won't be able to carry it. Mine is pushing 40 pounds of tools and I have plenty of room left.

I would have given this 5 stars if they had spent a little more time designing the pockets instead of trying to say they have so many.

Still if you are looking to buy this, buy it already, you won't be disappointed.

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice & Big
I just traded in my old reliable canvas bag for this one. It was hard to do (I love the canvas) but the extra interior space saves me a lot of trips to the truck. My only complaint is that some of the exterior pockets are pretty small. Many of them are too "tight" to use for much. All in all, a really good bag with lots of room.

5-0 out of 5 stars Better than Metal!
I've retired most of my steel toolboxes in favor of a number of these units. They're rugged, never rust, are far better organized than most steel boxes and cheap enough to devote different bags to different tasks.

I've got a plumbing bag, a bicycle repair bag, an electrical/telephone/data wiring bag, a bag with my impact drill and associated bits, a boat rigging anbd repair bag, an emergency car tool/jumper cable bag and probably one or two I'm forgetting. A superb product with no flaws I can think of. ... Read more

There’s a lot to like here. Super padding won’t cut into your shoulders and the X design distributes your gear’s weight evenly, taking the strain off your back. Everything about it is quality, from the fabric to the heavy-duty hardware and the tough straps. We like that left-handers can arrange the bags to suit them, and best of all, we didn’t get gored in the gut by protruding tools when bending over, thanks to side-hanging bags. Now, those side-hanging bags bumps the hammer ring to the back, and we do think the rear-hanging hammer would take some getting used to, but the side bags are worth it. We’d sure like to see Bucket Boss build a cell-phone compartment into the design, but aside from that, there’s nothing we’d change. If you’ve been clipping suspenders to a standard tool belt, stop and try this on for size. We’re sold on it.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars good but not great
I have been in the trades for over 40 years, and used many tool belts. This belt is more for Western framers than Eastern, the whole debate, worm drive vs, sidewinder saws etc. If you are not used to a rear hammer holder, you will find it hard to get used to. The bags hang on your side, and not the front. These are the things I like because it makes it easy to bend over and not get pinched in the gut, by quick squares, tapes, racks of 16 sinkers, etc. This is a great belt to see if you like the side bag system, shoulder harness, rear hammer, only $40. Good bags cost $100 to $200 for any type, so not much lost is you don't like. The reason for the 3 stars, the hammer holder broke the first week, and the x brace across the back moves during the day which pulls the bags around to the rear. I reposition everthing at lunch and start again, it's a pain.

4-0 out of 5 stars a toolbox on suspenders
I've been in the construction field for four years, and have not found a more comfortable belt yet. I'm rather thin, and in the winter I tend to wear many layers. Despite the many layers, it fits perfectly no matter what I am wearing. Unlike many other toolbelts, this one can hold all of the different types of tools that a carpenter needs. In the past, I have used the normal setup with all the individual pouches and just threw on a pair of suspenders to hold them up. After a long hard day of work, my shoulders are tired from the weight. Also, you know as well as I do, that when you try to fit into tight spaces, you could catch one of those clips, and they could wind shooting off and hitting you in the face. This does not happen with the air lift system whereever you go, the belt just follows. Overall, if you're out there all day, and are looking for a comfortable belt that doesn't strain your shoulders, the air lift system is definitely for you

2-0 out of 5 stars Stiff as a dead mackerel, tough for a builder to get used to
As a builder, dont expect to use this thing right out of the box as mine came squished flat as a pancake and i couldnt fit all my tools in it and still reach them because the pockets were closed from being flattened: this doesnt help when you are up on a 30' ladder. I guess you could fill all the pockets with something and hang it for a bit before commissioning it for work. I have had it a week, still stiff as a dead fish and wont break in- but im expecting it to anyday now. I also think the hammer in the back stinks as i am used to a traditional tool belt with the hip hammer loop and this thing has none. Would be a good belt for someone just starting out as you can get used to all its little annoyances from the get-go, as a full time carpenter forget throwing your old belt away for this one. I used this belt for an hour and put my old one back on. The material is pretty rugged and its seems to be constructed well- the shoulder straps are also really comfortable. My overall opinion is: bad belt layout and i want my hammer on the hip which you cant have with this belt.

3-0 out of 5 stars almost right
Let me first start off with that first I am a professional builder, and have at times a need to carry a full assortment of hand tools on the job where a tool bag or cart simply will not do. The option of hauling two full tool bags on my waist all day long becomes a bit uncomfortable. I saw an item like this in the store for $20.00 more that I tried on and like it. I got this one but did not like it because it had too many straps which made it hard to get on and off. I also thought that the number and placement of the straps made it easier to get snagged on things. The one that I saw in the store had a "Y" strap where this one has and "X" strap to support the tools, the "Y" strap was a little less padded which made it less bulky and the straps where little more sturdy which made them keep their shape beter and easier to get on and off quickly. I liked the one in the store better also because the tool bags hanged better and the clips that hold them where smaller in size but strong and less in the way. Even though it cost more in the store it was a better buy for me considering these small but important features to me.

2-0 out of 5 stars good idea
This tool belt is a good idea and feels great...here's the lowdown. In the field the loops on the back of the pouches for the horizontal belt are weak. They broke within two weeks. Bucket Boss makes great products and I hope that they would upgrade this unit as soon as possible. I wish that I would have bought mine here, alas I did not and am now stuck with it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars ANOTHER HIGH QUALITY ACCESSORY FROM DEWALT
Found this DeWalt D6100 tool bag a great accessory for my D51823 clipped head nailer. The nailer fits inside the bag, slightly at an angle, but with additional space for clips of nails and accessories I need in conjunction with its use. This high quality tool bag is definetly rugged enough and constructed in such a manner that it will withstand the weight of the items I need to do the job.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Tool Bag
If you've been thinking about getting this bag, but hesitate because of price. GET IT! You will not be disappointed.

At first I thought it might be too small for my needs. But the size is just right. I've been able to fit a cordless drill, reciprocating saw, jig saw, two batteries, charger, hammer, 12x12 box of bits and plenty more. If they had made it any bigger you'd probably stick more in it and not be able to carry it around.

I would consider it more a "toolbox bag" than a "tool bag". It is very firm and stands on its own without any tools in it. To say it is "Heavy Duty" may be an understatement. The quality is top-notch. Tool bags are wimpy. This is definitely not wimpy.

    Well worth the money, IMHO.

5-0 out of 5 stars Must Have for the Weekend Handyman
This item saves me so much time, I must waste 2 hours per weekend looking for the tape measure, pencil, hammer, or whatever that I layed down somewhere around here. It is well constructed and stands up to the rugged use that home projects sometimes call for. You can load it up or leave it light. I'm actually thinking of getting another one so I can have one setup for General Maitenance and another setup for specific projects. So now I'm always ready to tackle that Honey-do list that is now up to three pages long!

2-0 out of 5 stars shop bib review
The bib material is A OK but the quick release buckle was of very poor quality and will not stay closed. I am currently looking for another buckle that I can have someone with a heavy duty sewing machine will replace.

5-0 out of 5 stars Better Than A Belt For DIY
I had the lesser version until the hammer loop broke, then I ordered the 'Big Dog'. I found this version to be much better. There are two hammer loops, multiple screwdriver pockets, six big pockets, and adjustible straps. This apron is easy to put on, and take off. When, and if, this apron breaks, I will quickly purchase another.

If you are used to a belt, this will take some time to get adjusted to, but it is far superior, for small jobs.

5-0 out of 5 stars Indestructible apron...
As a carpenter at a psychiatric hospital I need to keep my tools close to (if not on) me for obvious safety reasons. The pockets, and dual hammer loops keep all the tools, parts, and fasteners I need at hands reach. It also helps you work more efficiently (think of all the time you spend picking up individual tools set on the floor etc.).

I have purchased more than a half dozen of these fine aprons, but I haven't worn out any of them. These things wear like IRON! Unlke those other cotton work aprons that mysteriously morph into "baby bibs" upon their first experience with a washer/dryer, these duck aprons merely get softer and more comfortable this each cleaning. I pick up another one as they become too unslighlty for the hospital appearance standards from my wiping paint, caulk and construction adhesive on them.

I recently gave 2 of my older aprons to an appreciative couple of friends who are doing the total house rehab thing. They wonder how they ever operated without them! If all products performed as well as this it would be a better world!

4-0 out of 5 stars Well made bib.
This is a quality bib. I would have given it five stars, except that it could be improved by changing the strap that goes around your neck. If you put much in the bib, the nylon strap rubs and cuts into the back of your neck. A shirt collar helps, but I often work in a t-shirt. If they made a padded section around the neck, I'd give it five stars. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Holds up under fire
I purchased three bags about two years ago.I liked them because you couldn't tip them over. Alot of guys in my company were also using them. Unfortunately, a house I was working on burnt to the ground and took my van with it. When I went back to the site the next day to make a list of matl's for the insurance company, I noticed the bags had their carrying strings burnt off and had fallen from their hooks upside down on to the van floor. I turned them over to find them sealed tight from the heat, with almost all contents intact. Unuseable now, but they did their job right to the end!

5-0 out of 5 stars Super useful
I have a number of the original Bucket Boss chutes, so when I saw this unit with the external pockers- a natural extension of the idea- I picked up a couple at the local home store.

I'm not a builder, but I've worked with crews on my house and done a fair bit of repair and addition of small built-ins. Like anyone who's done this sort of work, I have accumulated large amounts of screws, nails, wirenuts and other hardware in various sizes that I need a handy way to carry. Three or four of these (depending on what's in 'em) will fit in a joint compound bucket and provide an excellent way to organize and carry small parts.

I've got two filled with different sizes of deck screws, one with biscuits for the biscuit joiner, one with wire nuts, cable staples and other electrical items, one with nails and a few more with different screws, nuts, washers, screen door hardware, fuses, and other things I can't even remember. It's a great system.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Bucket Boss System really gets the job done
The best way to get into the Bucket Boss Super Chutes is to explain it is part of a system. The super chutes handles the misc parts. The other part of the system is the Bucket Boss 56, which handles the tools. Each one, can also be used to do a little of the other.
Super Chutes is great. I no longer find myself looking for that box of screws, or having to run back out to get things out of the vehicle. Also, if I am low on something, it is immediately apparent. The material, it is made out of, is super durable, and I am sure it will last, for a long, long time. Pick up one or more of these, and a 56 Organizer for your tools. The organization will pay for itself in no time. Get the Boss and watch your productivity zoom!

I'm a homeowner. I remember seeing our electrician with a few of these several years ago, so I finally got around to getting one. They sit on a ladder shelf easily and securely. You can pick em up, toss em around. Reaching in the large compartments to get nails, small parts, etc is easy. I used to use a nail bag you tie around your waist. This is much better. Most of the time I don't need to wear a cumbersome tool belt. The bag is well built with good materials. PLUS Bucket Boss / Fiskars have a no questions asked warranty for the LIFE of the product. 4-0 out of 5 stars Overall a great bag
What a great bag! I have a few quibbles; as noted, the inside pockets are a bit tight. The zipper tab doesn't seem to match the heft of the zipper. The exterior pocket flaps should be a bit wider/broader to cover the pocket and the gatemouth design seems to balk if you stuff the bag. All minor. Well constructed overall and every bit worth the price. A reasonably lightweight bag that holds a decent amount - of course, you'll cram more into it than you can comfortably carry. Because it's a medium/long bag you have to balance the load - otherwise it dips - and why no shoulder pad? I personally wouldn't recommend the recip saw w/blade in the bag. I once tripped and landed on a nylon bag w/ a jigsaw - blade in thigh - ouch! No more. Blades off all saws (except circular) and hard cased for transport. I like this bag a lot.

great way to carry a good mix of tools around

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for cordless tools
This bag is very durable and practical for hauling around your cordless tools. I use mine to hold my Milwaukee 18 v cordless saw and drill as well as a D-handle Makita router and various hand tools. They all fit nicely. Three pouches on the outside each can house an 18 v battery. There is a sturdy divider that velcroes on the inside and several small tool dividers for nail sets, pencils, blades, etc. The bottom is nicely padded and the shoulder strap is rugged.

5-0 out of 5 stars I can't carry what it can hold!
Man, these bags are great! I fit a lot of my personal tools in here and had to take some out because the whole was too heavy! I love the durable cloth; I love the shoulder strap; but what I like most is the use of space. There is a neat set of straps on top for a 2' level. There are organizational pockets on the inside for pencils, chisels, and whatnot.

There is a lot of room. They're not kidding when they say you can fit a sawzall in there. ... Read more
