Great for closets...
...and any other small spaces that need some extra light. These handy lights are not designed to be task lighting, nor are they meant to light up entire rooms. But they do provide sufficient light to guide you in a darkened room or hallway so you don't have to wake everyone else up by turning on the bright overhead light. And they are a LOT safer than candles during a power outage.

Great source of light, especially in emergencies.
It's true that the tap light does not provide enough light to light up your whole living room, but what do you expect from 4 AA batteries. I don't think these lights were invented to light up big rooms, but I have found them to be very useful in closets, utility rooms, basements and hallways. I currently own eight of them and they provide enough light for my small rooms, for bigger rooms, I simply put two. They're easy to install and last pretty long. I am very pleased and think they come in handy, especially during loss of power. They are alot safer than turning on candles. They are light weight, small and look pretty anywhere in your house. I don't have a light in my car trunk, so I've even installed on there. The price is reasonable, I'm satisfied with the product and it does come with a warranty.

Not enough light
I purchased a case of these to add a little light to the cubby holes that our employees work in. The light was so dim it actually made it more dreary than not having the light at all. It is okay for a night lite, but nothing more.
