Amazon.com Review

Leave the vacuum cleaner in the closet the next time your child spills a few cracker crumbs or your puppy shakes off the leaves from outside. With the Karcher K50 cordless electric broom, sweeping up dirt or vacuuming a small spill is a snap. Suitable for either hard floors or carpets, the battery-operated electric broom makes both vacuum cleaners and conventional brooms seem inefficient. The user merely grabs the broom from the wall bracket, kicks the handy foot switch, and sweeps the mess of peanut shells, cat hair, or tortilla chip scraps into the built-in dustpan--all in the time it would take to unwrap the power cord from your regular vacuum. The hinged handle allows the broom to reach hard-to-access areas, while the rechargeable battery provides enough juice for 20 cleanings. With the release of the K50 cordless electric broom, Karcher sends a succinct message to households around the world: no mess is worth worrying about. --Rivers Janssen ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Good enough to get another!
I thought a $... broom was a bit much but was tired of unraveling the cord and then wrapping back up again everytime I wanted to vacuum some cat hair or a small spill. After two weeks of using this very light weight and versatile cordless broom, I'm ordering another for upstairs. I use this more than a vacuum because I can grab it and pick something up and have it back in its rack before I can get the normal vac out. Don't expect it to suck something up, it just brushes it into a holding tray but it does the trick and is extremely easy to empty. A great product that should have been invented a long time ago.

5-0 out of 5 stars John ( single father )
Great product. It picks up crumbs like crazy, I use it in my garage to pick up leaves and grass clippings. Also good for dust on my tile floor. Told my neighbors about it and im sure they will get one. makes my life a little easier.

3-0 out of 5 stars GOOD BUT DOESN'T LAST
I bought this sweeper after reading the reviews and it worked great for about six months, then the charger stopped working. I suppose I could try a new charger or talk to the manufactorer about how to replace the battery(if you can); but who wants to bother? By the time I order the replacement parts and pay for shipping I could almost by a new sweeper. I was really dissapointed with this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Now the Kids Sweep the Floor
We have a large area in our home of tile and hardwood. This electric broom works wonderfully to just pull out and quickly have the floors clean. With kids it seems there is always something that needs to be cleaned. The best part with this product is that the kids think it is cool and fun to use the electric broom - now they fight over who gets to clean the floors. I like that problem.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for hardwood & tile floors!
Very handy to keep hardwood floors and tile floors clean, good for homes that don't have wall to wall carpet. ... Read more

We can't find anything that's not to love about this caddy. The tough-as-nails fabric slips easily onto your bucket and secures literally in a second. Our favorite feature might be the phone compartment, because who among us has not propped the cell or the cordless in the flower bed while we're working, only to leave it behind? There's a cinch cord that keeps the phone snug, too. We're equally impressed with the roomy mesh compartment that stores your muddy gloves and still lets them dry. Then there are the big, deep pockets that even fit a bulb digger. Now that's roomy! Even the seed storage area is clever: There's room for nine packets, and the cover keeps them dark and dry. Larger tools like grass shears ride along easily in the bottomless pockets. And of course, you can tote soil or mulch or fertilizer in the bucket, or fill it up with tomatoes and peppers as you pick them. This is one accessory no gardener should be without.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars performs well
I bought this so I could stop running back and forth to the garage to get the next tool I needed. I bought a 5 gal paint bucket at home deport (orange or white) that works great! I use the inside of the bucket for knee pads and lopers and the seed packet holder on the outside for the tags that come with my plants. I was thrilled that the water bottle holder holds a 1 liter bottle, not those tiny .5 liter ones. It has plenty of pockets for your assorted garden tools and it's made out of heavy material so I look forward to many years of use.

2-0 out of 5 stars Send this one back to R&D...
It doesn't come with a bucket to wrap it around, so no big deal, eh? I've been to SEVEN stores looking for the right sized bucket...they're either too little or too big. The buckets I have looked at: 10 qt., 2 1/2 gallons, 3 gallons, and 5 gallons. All but the 5 gallon bucket are too small, and the 5 gallon bucket makes the belt loop S_T_R_E_T_C_H to barely meet the velcro attachment . And the hanging hoop lock is positioned right in the middle of nowhere, so it will attach to absolutely nothing, except the handle, which renders the belt loop/velcro enclosure useless. If you buy this thing, TAKE IT TO THE STORE WITH YOU to find a @$#% BUCKET IT WILL FIT! !!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow all I can say is "what a bucket"
This bucket has given me the freedom I need to carry my tools and instruments, with the versatility of a bucket! I love my bucket so much, I bought one for my husband(and he loves it). I ordered 10 of them to hand out at Christmas! If I was to be trapped on an island with one bucket, this would definately be it!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Convienent Way to Carry your Gardening Tools, etc.
I like Bucket Boss - Fiskars products. This item is well thought out and well made. There are pockets sized for all your hand tools including bulb planter, a convienent "wallet" for seed pockets, a secure cell phone pouch, and even room for a squeeze drink bottle. I would also recommend getting one of Bucket Boss' Bucket Grip.

5-0 out of 5 stars An Edge for the Older Gardener
My wife has a green fist! Yes, I know the cliche is: "my wife has a green thumb." Every living plant, vine, bush or tree she touches in her garden or around the house grows, thrives, and reproduces. Indeed, even slips from someone else's garden bursts into life when she transplants it.

Our little garden out back is a riot of color and variety and only a year ago it was a dry plot of deep, impenatrable lifeless clay. Today people suck in their breath when they walk out the patio door into her "Eden" (my name for the space).

But my wife is about to turn 70. She is plagued with migraine headaches, vertigos and is having a long convelescence from a fall that broke many things. She is slower, more deliberate in pace. Stooping is a hazard and so is running back and forth for tooks.

But out she goes each day to trim, water, admire and talk to her growing things. She needs an assistant or attendent who makes her chores less painful. The bucket caddy and a little army surplus stool fit the bill.

She sits on the little canvas stool and places the caddy next to her with all her favorite tools, plant foods and mysterious sprays. She waters from that position.

There is less pain in her day, less worry and so the lucious colored and growing things thrive and spread and even march up the outside walls of our house. For 50 years she nourished and nurtured the lives of young children in the class room, now she continues in her garden. People like my wife should have all the convenient and proper tools they need for their work for they are part of ongoing creation which benefits us all.

Her husband? Even a silk plant dies in his office! Thanks for creating a thoughtful helpmate with this product for my wife. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Versatile unit beats the rest
I'll start with what caused me to give it only 4 stars - which are really only nits.

First, the LCD display is very hard to read unless you pick up the unit and are looking at it straight on.In a dim room forget about it.They could/should have done away with the curved plastic and added a light.

Second, there's a slight ticking sound when its in oscelation mode when it gets to the extreme left of its cycling.

Ok, now that that's out of the way ... I love the variable thermostat. The LCD display shows the temperature at which it'll come on.I like knowing the temp and not just some vague high, medium, low setting. We like to keep our house at a certain temp in the winter, but some rooms don't heat as well as others and this easily gets a room up to temp. Our son adjusted the temp dial and before long the room was really really warm - a testement to its heating capabilities.

I'm here shopping for a second one. ... Read more

Strait-Line's claim that this is "the most capable laser level ever built" is an invitation to skepticism, but folks, after spending a little time with this model, we think it's true. Yes, there are other laser levels on the market that project both a horizontal and vertical line, but we've never seen one that lets you access the exact point of intersection—-this one does, so every job gets off to a flawless start. And flawless it is, because the Intersect self-levels within 8 degrees on a vertical surface. All you have to do is attach it to the wall (more on that in a minute) as close to vertical as you can, and Strait-Line's amazing technology projects perfectly level and plumb lines with zero guesswork for a 30 foot total horizontally and 20 feet vertically. (We'll do the math for you: That's a 600 square foot work area.) Mind you, the auto-leveling feature works on a vertical surface only, but use on the floor doesn't require leveling anyway. Another feature to love is that it leaves no marks on the wall; there are no pins to push in. Instead, Strait-Line has incorporated 3M's revolutionary Command Adhesive. Just peel, stick and remove the whole shebang when you're done, without a trace. Accuracy is outstanding, to within +/- 1/8 inch at 15 feet. This is a great tool for just about anybody, from contractors and cabinet installers to art galleries, builders, home decorators and of course, the intrepid do-it-yourselfer.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Arrive unfunctional
This rack seems like it'd be a good idea. I bought it to free up some space inside my apartment. However, when I received the rack, I was unable to fit the pieces together.

I called the customer support people at Racor and they were very friendly. They are going to ship out a new piece for the middle which should fit.

If this works, it'll be a nice rack. Mine's not scraped up like the other reviews. However, I have yet to see if this will work.

3-0 out of 5 stars Only holds one bike, doesn't stand up straight.
1. The packaging was poor and the base was badly scratched when I received it.

2. I'm 6'2" and I have two tall bikes. The rack is too short for both of them. With the top bracket at the highest setting, the bottom bike won't fit below it. I paid a welder $30 to change the angle of the top bracket so that it goes up 45 degrees. Now there is room for the second bike. Now the rack costs $80.

3. The joints in the rack are wobbly, so my rack tilts to the right about 5 degrees. I think it's ugly. I'm going to screw the top of the rack into the wall to fix this. That kinda defeats the purpose of a "gravity" rack.

Now that I've got it fixed up, it does what it's supposed to. Kind of a pain but it works, and it's still pretty cheap at $80.

4-0 out of 5 stars It works and it's a deal
like other reviewers my box arrived a bit beat up, i was half expecting to find parts missing. unlike others i had no problem assembling it and it seems very sturdy. for the price you aren't going to find a better deal.

i've got way too many bikes in too small of an apartment. the lower half seems a bit useless (all my bikes are pretty big though). it's not tall enough to get the bottom bike off the floor so you can't store anything there. i'm thinking about removing the lower arms and just leaning a couple of bikes there. it's already getting my apartment into shape.

4-0 out of 5 stars Just what I wanted!
I've been wanting a bike rack like this for years. I've tried products that seemed similar, and they just didn't work for me. This one's exactly what I was looking for.

APPEARANCE
The rack arrived with no scratches. This was a surprise, given that two of the sections that make up the vertical post were loose in the manufacturer's box, and the box was a bit battered.

The rack itself looks great in my garage.

STABILITY
When positioned against (or near) a wall, the rack sways mildly when a bike is removed or replaced. The base is big enough and the overall design is such that removing the bottom bike (gently) doesn't seem to cause the whole thing to fall over--as long as the wall is there for backup. The manufacturer recommends anchoring the rack to the wall and includes hardware for this purpose.

ASSEMBLY
The central post is delivered in three sections: The base is the curved "T" that you can see in the picture on the Amazon site. The other two sections form the vertical tube.

These main sections fit very tightly together. As far as I'm concerned, this makes the whole thing more internally stable. To assemble the central post, I relied on a many squirts from my trusty can of WD-40, some wiggling, gravity, and patience. Without all that, I would've been stuck (and the sections would've been too).

The four arms that hold the two bikes attach into slots on either side of the vertical tube. I used a small block of wood to knock the arms in and out of the slots (I don't have a mallet, and it seemed like a hammer would dent/scratch the finish). Each bike is held by resting the top tube in cradles (at the end of each arm). The cradles easily rotate as needed to adapt to the angle of the top tube. Nice touch.

It definitely took some effort to put this rack together. However, I'm pleased with the results so far. It really frees up space! Taking it apart will be an interesting challenge some day.

Is it worth the price? Well... Even with the Amazon price, it seems a bit more expensive than other garage-quality bike racks. However, over the years I've spent more in total on other racks that didn't work out for me at all. This one is just what I wanted!

1-0 out of 5 stars worst purchase ever
The pieces would not fit together, after hours of trying lube, force and then the hammer, nothing worked. One of the tubes finally split and now there is no hope of making it work. It seemed like a good idea, but I was just taken for $60.00.

Amazon.com Review

Unveil this secret weapon with the flick of a switch and establish a strong beachhead against dust in your home or shop. Powered by a 1-horsepower, 115-volt induction motor, Jet's 650 cfm dust collector comes with 2.67-cubic-foot bags that grab particles 30 microns and larger. The 9-3/4-inch steel blower wheel is stout enough to handle larger particle-producing applications. The entire unit sits conveniently on easy-to-roll casters, so moving it around the shop is no problem. A unique feature separating Jet's dust collectors from the competition is how easily the lower bag can be removed and reattached. There's a handy flexible metal band that snaps quickly into place--which is a hundred times easier than wrestling with cinch straps. The machine stands only 66 inches tall and is ideal for small shops. There's only one dust port; you have to set up to larger models for two ports. A great carpenter once referred to sawdust as "the indomitable scourge silently mounting in woodshops nationwide." Well, now there's something you can do about it. --Justin Paul ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars You probably want more power.
The Jet DC-650 is a nice dust collector, but you may want a bit more power. I use the unit in a home shop collection system using 40 feet of 4" rigid sewer pipe as ducting and 4" flexible duct connections to the machines. The DC-650 is remarkably quiet, and provides sufficient collection for one machine (one open gate) at a time (even the table saw and jointer). I also have a 24" floor sweep that is sufficiently powered by the DC-650. Keep in mind that the DC-650 requires all of a 15 amp circuit. Buy a more powerful unit if you can, but make sure that you have a dedicated circuit with enough amperage to run it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent collector for a small shop
I bought a Jet DC-650 from Tool Crib in December 99 and I couldn't be more pleased with it's performance. My shop co-exists with the family automobile in a two car garage. The collector is attached to one machine at a time with a 10ft flex hose; in this mode of use, it has all the power that's needed. Before I got this machine, I'd do almost anything to avoid using my thickness planer - cleaning up the mess often took longer than than the planing! And to a lesser degree, the same could be said about my jointer. Without a controlled sampling, I'd estimate that the collector easily captures better than 99.5% of the dust from these machines. Dust collection from my contractors style table saw isn't quite as efficient, but that was expected. I still capture well over 60% of the dust from it. The air is cleaner, the garage is much cleaner, and cleanup time is a fraction of what it once was. I don't fully agree with the notion that bag emptying is a snap; even with improvements to the clamping system, it's still a "pain in the butt" (and I think this comment can probably be generalized to all the Taiwanese made single stage units). This prompted me to add a first stage separator. I use the one built around a 30 gal fiber drum that's sold by Highland Hardware. Now I collect probably 6 times as much material before emptying the drum and bag - and I've devised a method of capturing a 30 gal trash bag inside the first stage drum so emptying it is truly a snap. You don't have to use these machines as they come out of the box; you can put the DC-650 on a larger base that accomodates a first stage separator and a method for holding and transporting the attached flex hose. It's generally agreed that the ultimate dust collector is some configuration of a cyclone, but I don't know where one of these can be found for the money that will equal the mobility and performance of the DC-650. It's very simply an outstanding machine for a very modest price.

3-0 out of 5 stars Crick in the neck - Engineers rarely use their own products
I bought this for a one person shop. My original intent was to have one hose and pull it to the tool I was using.

1st, If you plan to use cheaper hose in a one tool per time system, the fact that the in-feed is on top of the unit, the weight of the hose will crimp thinner hoses.

2nd, this sucker does not roll for beans. it has 4 wheels two are fixed and to rotate, if you happen to be pulling in the direction that the rear wheels are pointing (Rarely are you pulling to where you already are) you're good, if not your in trouble.

I ran a more permanent system and with blast gates it has plenty of power to run jointers, planers router tables. Just my
observations.

3-0 out of 5 stars Useful but just part of a system for good results
I have decided to take the really small trouble to move the hose from tool to tool, since it is just me there and I have organized the major tools (table saw, planer, jointer) so they have their rear ends facing the same direction. This seems to work fine. The 4" hose is easy to move and slip onto each tool when I am going to use it, even for a few cuts.
I have added a garbage can pre-collector, so it is a 2-stage system. It is imperfect, even with lots of duct tape, but I am satisfied with the system so far. Maybe because I have been around a while and know things never work as well as illustrated in the catalogs and magazines. It is a GREAT improvement over what I had before (broom and shop vac). I got a Shaker 1 micron bag (on sale at Rockler in January) for the Jet and that seems to be a major improvement. Also I am adding a small Lee Valley air cleaner to snarf up the ambient fine stuff.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for Small Shop!
This Jet 650 has the cfm capacity to handle any single shop tool - table saw, jointer, planer, router table etc. And its extremely quiet. If you have a 200sf shop as I do, then this is about the max you can put in it. Due to the limited size of the unit, you will have to empty the collection bag frequently if you make a lot of sawdust. That and having to move the hose from one tool to the next are the only things I wish I could change. Maybe a new 400sf shop is what I need. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Accutire's new, deluxe digital tire gauge delivers precise tire pressure reading every time--and that's important. While manual tire gauges seem flimsy, sometimes stick, and can give inconsistent results, Accutire's digital gauge is a well-made, confidence-inspiring instrument. The Accutire also delivers impressive consistency: in our tests, we got within plus/minus 1/2 psi each time, something that's not likely to happen with a manual gauge. The Accutire's large back-lit LCD screen is easy to read, too, no matter if you're standing in pitch-black dark or in bright daylight. The gauge measures from 5 to 99 psi, in 1/2-pound increments, and automatically shuts itself off after you use it. Built with a rugged aluminum housing, a rubber nose, and tail guards, this gauge also comes with a handy steel side clip, in case you need to carry yours with you wherever you go. And when it's not in use, you can store the Accutire in its felt-lined, snap-shut case, so it won't get beat up rattling around in your glove box. Accutire's digital gauge costs more than a manual gauge, but with its lifetime lithium battery, it's going to last you a long, long time. --Jon Groebner ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A must have item...
The best tire gauge I've ever used. Gas station airpumps, when they had meters, were inaccurate at best. Now they charge you for air, and you must bring your own gauge. (I bought an aircompressor, but I digress...) Plastic or metal, dial or stick gauges are not accurate either. Mine are at least 2-4lbs off from what the accutire reads. The accutire is cool looking, cool to use, and easy to use and read. My only negative is that I wish it had a longer hold period or a permanent hold with a manual zeroing of the reading. This item costs more than other gauges, but it pays for itself in the long run in more accurate readings hence, longer tire life if you check pressure regularly to maintain proper inflation.

1-0 out of 5 stars Impossible to maintain a seal on some valve stems
I had an older Accutire that did not work well on my new car. I figured it was worn out and ordered this Gauge. It doesn't work either. It is impossible to maintain a good seal between the valve and the gauge. Instead of investing in fancy backlight etc. Accutire would have done much better by using a high quality sealing mechanism and not that flimiscal plastic/rubber combination. Using a different Gauge with a solid brass/metal connector I have no trouble at all. In short: I do not recommend.

1-0 out of 5 stars Battery wore out in 2 months; extremely hard to use guage
2 months in and the battery for the back lit display is dead!! Hard to believe it only lasted that long ... I could just change the battery, but why? The guage itself is incredibly hard to get on the stem without hearing the hiss of air escaping your tires. Every now and then, I'd get a perfect lock the first time, but it's rare and hard to do.

I don't know about the accuracy ... I have a pen style guage that always show 2 pounds more pressure per tire than this digital model.

I have an Evo VIII, and tire pressures greatly influence the handling of the car, so I wanted a top quality guage. Unfortunately I got a guage that looks really nice, but is too hard to use and wore out too fast.

1-0 out of 5 stars Short Lifespan
While the gauge itself is accurate, the center plastic tip wears out after about a year of use rendering the unit inoperable. Should have used a metal tip. Sorry I spent the money.

1-0 out of 5 stars LOOKS great, works poorly: display on mantle?
This miracle of modern science works great the first 10 or 20 or 30 times.

Then you realize that readings are becoming increasingly inaccurate (and hard to obtain -- pfffffft!), and it's obvious that the $0.03 seal at the tip is failing. Where do you get a replacement? Ha, gotcha!

All show, no go at this point. ... Read more

Black & Decker has taken five popular home workshop tools and put them together into one compact, cordless unit in the Black & Decker 14.4-volt cordless multi-tool kit. The 14.4-volt model offers five interchangeable, locking heads that provide drill/driver, circular saw, jig saw, router and sander/polisher features. While not as powerful or feature-laden as most stand-alones, the multi-tool provides an excellent starting point or addition to a home enthusiast's arsenal. The drill head operates at variable speeds of 0-700 rpm. A 24-position clutch provides up to 115 in./lbs. of torque. And a 3/8-inch keyless chuck makes bit changes easy. The 3-3/8 inch circular saw features a 20-tooth carbide tipped blade and operates at 0-1,100 rpm. A spindle lock allows quick blade changes, while a thin kerf minimizes waste. The jigsaw features Black & Decker's exclusive, tool-free QuickClamp blade change system. A see-through bezel offers a cleaner view of the cut line, while a blade support roller keeps the blade straight for an accurate finish. The router features a 1/4-inch collet and spindle lock. Good visibility, micro-depth adjustments and an operating speed of 0-8,000 rpm make it well-suited for small, high-speed project work. The sander/polisher is also versatile. It reaches into tight spaces, accepts Mouse attachments, and spins at 0-8,000 opm.--Carl Thress ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Do you all work for Black and Decker?
It's a great idea but if you are going to do a day or weekend long project that would require one or more of the attachments, get extra batteries! The only attachments that didn't kill the battery quickly were the drill and maybe the saw wasn't great. The other pieces especially the router and jigsaw drained both batteries noticably in about 15 minutes. I've found the router adequate only for edge and laminate work but way underpowered for anything else.
Don't even get me started on the safety start mechanism. You must depress a button on the attachments before the trigger will engage. This is especially maddening and awkward with the router.
Save your money and buy the real versions of each tool you really need instead of this poor compromise on all of them.

5-0 out of 5 stars I LOVE mine! What a fantastic deal! No complaints...
I first saw the Black and Decker multi-tool at Home Depot, but the one they had only had 3 tools and was only 12 volts. (Still pretty cool.) This one has FIVE tools and is 14.4 volts. All the tools are great. You get two batteries, and they last a long time. I'd rate this as one of the best values in tools I've ever purchased. I love my Black and Decker multi-tool. (One improvement though... a catchier name...)

5-0 out of 5 stars Looks like a great product
I just ordered this product and it looks to be exactly what I need. I just need power tools to do small projects around the house. This is a perfect mult-tool product for me. Just the basics is all I need. I don't need a top of the line circular saw, jigsaw, etc. I just need something that will handle the small projects that I work on and this appears to be exactly what I need.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect, teh best tool
Amazing. I bought mine at Amazon and my cousin brought to me. I was waiting for another machine, but this is fantastic!!!
Congratulations AMAZON, congratulation Black and Decker. I think that I will not find another tool like this. Very, very good.

Amazon.com Review

Bosch's Compact Tough cordless drills are designed to provide professional power in a compact profile and perform tough jobs in tight spaces and close quarters without compromising durability. Employing a flexible ABS nylon blend, this tool can stand up to the roughest job site conditions. This 14.4-volt model has a two-speed gearbox that delivers up to 300 inch-pounds of torque in high-torque mode and up to 1,200 rpm in high-speed mode. There's also a large two-sided fan for cool operation and motor durability and a 16-position clutch for matching the torque to your task. We like the ratcheting chuck that allows for quick, reliable one-handed bit changes and the soft rubber grip Bosch includes on all its cordless tools. For people who want the most power they can get in a small drill, this 14.4-volt model may be the best bet. It has the most torque of all Bosch's Compact Tough drills and weighs only 4.4 pounds. This model includes the drill, two 2 amp hr batteries, a one-hour charger, a bit holder, and a carrying case. --Brian Trinen ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars snapped a 5/16 lag bolt, " BRUTE" is appropriate
This is the best cordless tool I've ever owned. I've always liked the Bosch line of tools. Between the 18 volt and the 14.4 volt I ended up buying the 14.4 volt brute, and I've certainly put it to work. It has plenty of power to drive any kind of screw you want. My brother was driving in a 5/16" X 2 1/2 lag bolt while working on my deck, we both heard a snap. My brother said, "sorry , but I think I just broke your drill. Come to find out the drill was fine and he had snapped the lag bolt cleanly off, talk about power. The battery pack lasts plenty long enough to allow your second battery to fully charge, so you have no down time. The drill is very ergonomic, and a real pleasure to use. I dont generally leave reviews, but i must make an exception in this case

5-0 out of 5 stars Great little drill
I traded in my Makita 14V because I was unhappy with it and still needed a second drill. This one outperforms my Craftsman 19.2. The feel is great. The heft is right. The power is unbelievable. I am extremely happy. Even the case is first rate. everything fits in its molded space. And it even has holders for the battery covers. They just went the extra step all the way around. Very happy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hands Down--the Best Drill Driver
What can I say? Bosch is the BEST!! You will love this tool, I promise. It's the most power you will every get from a small drill. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Remington pole chainsaw
The motor is made in China, the pole in taiwan. Other than that it is a good homeowner grade tool. It came with quality Oregon chain and most likely the bar was Oregon made. The motor has plenty of torque to cut through branches, the oiler has a manual pump cap that allows the user to oil the chain. The oiler leaks a little by the bar where they meet but when pumped by hand oil gets to the chain. With a sharp chain it cut through branches easily, I did some around 4-5" in diameter. I doubt the 12' length pole, seems closer to 9' though I have not measured it. It requires assembly, the instructions are not completely detailed, basic mechanical aptitude is needed. The pole to powerhaed bracket is a little tricky, longer screws would make the assembly easier, large pliers are helpfull to squeeze the bracket halves closer together to get the screws started. It can be operated without the pole as a standard chainsaw, though the 8" bar would limit it's use. Overall I'm happy with it, it's a good nitch product not many others make, except for more expensive gas models made for the professionals.

5-0 out of 5 stars Remington 104317 Pole Chain Saw
This is a great tool. This pole saw cut through branches with ease. It is intended for small to medium size trees. I wish that the pole length was longer on it. Performs well overall and gets the job done in record time.

4-0 out of 5 stars Terrific Chainsaw, TERRIBLE instruction for assembly
There was not anything CLOSe to helpful on the assembly parts of this saw. I wasted about 1 hour trying to understand what the text of the manual implied to in terms of the parts. Once you figure it out, it's a great chainsaw. Take your time and adjust the chain tension. Be careful too, I slipped and cut my finger while adjusting the chain.

However now that I have it up, it is wonderful. Great for trimming, and even sawing off small-to-mid small sized trees and stomps!.

One note, the saw is heavy, so while it's attached to the pole, you'll need to be at least average in strength to use it, as it's top heavy.

4-0 out of 5 stars Terrific Chainsaw, TERRIBLE instruction for assembly
This chainsaw is great. It cuts fast and smooth, even for small trees the diameter of a baseball bat head. Convenient for reaching up or down to trim bushes and branches.

5 stars and 1/2 if not for the terrible / basically nonexistent asembly instruction. It's easy to assemble this unit, but they have NO diagrams, but only words. I wasted about 45 min trying to figure it out.

Another advice: Make sure you adjust the chain tension slowly and correctly. It makes a world of difference when cutting. Careful with the chains when adjusting too. I cut my finger when I was in a rush.

A great saw regardless.

5-0 out of 5 stars Works very well... Even on larger branches.
It's an excellent buy for the money. It's light, easy to handle, and cuts very well. (I most recently cut limbs that were about four or five inches thick; I had no problems.) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Safety
This is an excellent unit.I did some serious shopping for a locking box and this is perfect.Durable, reliable and a lot of space.I go away on business trips so often that I need the protection without having to worry about my mail. This is a tough box and a great deal.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Perfect Mailbox - We Feel Very Secure
We are convinced that my husband's identity theft problem was a result of someone taking bills and other mail from our mailbox and using the information. We were so upset by the incident that we were going to get a post office box. Then we found this mailbox, bought it, and are completely satisfied. We never worry about our mail anymore - even when we're on vacation. We have recommended Mailguard to all our friends and neighbors.

2-0 out of 5 stars Illusion of Safety
The bolt seems adequate to me, the problem is the hinge mechanism is a joke; I had to pop it into place by hand.A thief could pop this open in 1/2 second.Ironically, the mail compartment is hard to open normally, I will probably need a pry bar just to get my mail. They also only provided 3 out of 4 mounting screws. The flag mounting design is also poor, although I wont ever use it so I don't care.

Update: while attempting to sand down the door so that it would be openable, it fell onto the floor. The top mail slot broke off, and is now unusable; the bottom ("secure") mail door popped off its hinges. This thing is worthless.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Product
I highly recommend this mailbox. So well designed and so well made.It carries all the mail of our family of 8 for several days.It cost less than any other locking mailbox I could find. It's good to have this kind of box.I am surprised we haven't had one of these sooner. We love it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Thank you MailGuard
I purchased the MailGuard mailbox as a surprise for my husband. It arrived in the afternoon one day and I had it installed before my husband got home from work that evening.Installation is so easy and my husband loves the mailbox. We travel alot in the summer and have always had the hassel of what to do with our mail.We don't have to stop our mail or burden our neighbors to pick it up for us anymore. We left for 3 weeks and when we returned our mail was locked safely in our mailbox, undisturbed.Thank you MailGuard! ...
