Yikes!
I purchased these as a gift for the home improvement junkie that I share a house with and guess who uses them constantly? ME! They are razor sharp and quite an upgrade from the cheap dull ones we had previously. Don't buy cheap tools! They are dangerous and frustrating. We also have the 14 volt Milwaukee cordless drill and I love that too. Very happy with the bits.

Do yourself a favor
These will be the last drill bits you will need to buy. They are super hard and will go through the toughest heat-treated metal. You will need to be carefull with them; even though they are hard, they will break if you were to drop them onto a concrete floor. But will a little care they should last a lifetime. ... Read more

Great Planer!!
I needed a good heavy duty planer to scarff 1:8 slope joints in plywood sheets (I build boats). This planer has met all of my expectations. Plenty of power. Accurate cutter depth control. Extremely easy to change/sharpen blades. I would have given it five stars except for the useless chip collection port. Chips and dust dump out right by the motor fan! Small inconvenience though. All in all a very nice tool!

I used a friend's Porter-Cable Model 367 power plane and quickly began to wonder how I got along without a power plane for so many years. I thought I'd get the same model Porter-Cable, but it appears Porter-Cable replaced it with another model. Further, all the reviews I read about Porter-Cable power planes in Amazon.com left me somewhat confused so I thought I'd try Makita, a brand with which I've had good success. I went for the 4 3/8" model because I could true a built-up beam in one pass. When I got the Makita I first noticed the weight difference between it and the Porter-Cable. The Makita is heavier and at first blush seemed better suited for a shop rather than a jobsite (one must always keep in mind bigger might not be better). The next thing I noticed is the drive belt on the Makita is not fully enclosed like the one on the Porter-Cable (I nicked my finger with it, and for a brief second I thought it was the blade that nicked me). Finally, the exhaust port on the Makita dumps out the chips (often plentiful) right next to the air intake for the motor (the Porter-Cable has a two door system that lets you vent the chips to either the right or left side). Despite these short comings I really like the Makita. It's way powerful which I believe calls for the extra weight and compared to, say, a Mag 77 worm drive saw it's a fly weight. It's very smooth in part because you're limited to 1/16" cut, the cutter head turns @ 16000 RPM, and my blades don't yet have any nicks in them. For me the bottom line is how much I use a tool, and it's a rare day that I don't press the Makita into service. Compared to no plane there is no comparison. Compared to muscle powered planes, I think you will wonder why it took you so long to power up. overpriced, but overall a reasonable drill
I recently bought this drill. i like it. power/torque is excellent. but for the price it should've been better-the battery juice should've last longer, the drill should've been quieter (it is very noisy.).

the other reviewer who said not to buy made-in china products is 10% right and 90% wrong. I looked at the bottom of all the components in this Bosch drill. The drill is made in Switzerland (He is right only here.), but the battery is made in Mexico, and the battery charger is made in China. i am not quite sure where all the parts inside the drill/battery/battery charger are made from, probably all over the world.

i don't think it's fair to blame China for the cheap products that are sold in the USA and around the world. These products are made with the specifications of the Buyers, that is, the USA, the European...etc. companies, who wanted to sell cheap stuffs to us in the first place. I've bought some British high end hi-fi components that are made in china, and i was very, very, very impressed with the quality of the equipment. if the executives at the US and European companies want high quality, they get high quality-no matter where it is made. if the execs want cheap merchandise so we must replace these cheap products every 3-5 years, so that these companies can measure purchasing cycle and maximize their profit line every 3-5 years, then we, the USA consumers, will then get cheap products that break down easily. but really who is to blame here, the USA and European's marketing/product/pricing strategies and schemes, or china? we all know what the answer is.

Not made in China
This drill is the best 12V on the market. It is made in Switzerland, and it shows. Its quality is unmatched by any other brand in this price range. If your not going Milwaukee or better, avoid the temptation of buying that Dewalt, and go with the European.

Its got a comfortable grip, solid feel and construction, and is clearly made to handle anything.

Remember, good tools are made to last. Don't buy the Made in China __[insert brand]__ that will end up in the trash in 3 years. This drill will definitely make it for the long haul. ... Read more

Works Great! Plenty of Torque for me..
This items comes shipped in the box. Nice! Cord is attached and longer than the average cord too. Plenty of torgue, nice features comfortable and much more powerful than the yellows if you know what I mean. One downside to this item is Milwaukee doesn't provide you with a nice metal case. Will pay for itself after one wiring job.
If you are going to be doing any serious wiring around your house buy one of these drills, don't argue with me, don't cavil and whine that's it's too expensive, just buy the drill. Now Drilling between joists, or up into wall cavities, tasks which are a complete pain in the neck with a standard drill are almost effortless with the 3002. I had to run a bundle of wires through 12 floor joists, with this drill it took me about 15 minutes to drill all of the holes I needed and run the wires. Like every other Milwaukee product the drill is very well built and durable and if taken care of will last forever.

Milwaukee Builds'em Right
I use this drill at work on a daily bases and it has never let me down. The extra long handle is great when your dilling overhead. This model has a higher rpm than the standard right angle dill kit. The higher rpm's make drilling wood a lot easier. I only wish Milwaukee would have put the Quik-Lok cord on this model. No tool is perfect but this one comes close. ... Read more

Get, you'll need it sooner or later
Purchased it with Milwaukee's cordless screwdriver just in case. Well, I needed it for a task within a week after receiving it. I would not have been able to do the task with the cordless otherwise. Get it. You'll be glad you did.

Buy it now, because you'll need it later
If you have an electric screwdriver, you gotta have one of these. Compact, rugged, smooth. Has a indexed handle that can mount in a variety of positions to offset the torque. Sooner or later you're going to have a use for this on a Sunday night, when all the stores are closed, so get one now, you wont regret it! Identical as one produced by AEG, now owned by Milwalkee.

Best Tool For Tight Spots
We use this tool all the time installing stereos in cars. This tool is extremely versitile in getting into hard to reach or impossible situations. There are cheaper imitations on the market, but they do not hold up like this model, especially when used with a cordless screwdriver or drill. Add a set of hex shank drill bits to add to the versitility of this tool.
