It works!
It's crazy long and orange, but man, does it pack a powerful electric bite! All you have to do is plug the male side into an outlet, and then plug the other end into the appliance you want to run. It works like a charm! If I wanted to, I could plug in my desk lamp and walk 4 houses down, knock on the door, and be like, "Hey, look, my desk lamp still works at your house!" There's so many advantages to owning this technilogical wonder. Buy now!

Works perfectly, just what we needed!
We bought an electric lawnmower and this extension cord off Amazon, and this cable works perfectly. It's just what we needed, and performs very well with our lawnmower. It's a 100' 12 guage extension cord. A cable reel would be a good buy along with this, we will get one eventually. No problems at all with this extension cable. Works just like hoped. Heavier gauge = more power!
Unlike the less expensive extension cords that are 14 or 16 guage, this one is 12 guage. This important aspect allows you to draw 20 amps of current to opperate your favorites tools without overheating the cord. Remember to plug it into a 20 amp outlet and you'll be able to utilize the the heavier gauge cord for what it was designed for.

Great Quality at a Great Price
This is a must for anyone who works in the yard. The quality is second to none. I use mine on a daily basis and have had NO problems. Excellent extension cord
Have you had trouble with your tools overheating when using them on a long extension cord? Then you need to get a heavy duty, large conductor cord like this one. I really like mine. The power light is also a very handy feature if you sometime tax the GFI outlet a bit too much and want a quick check to see if the cord is still getting power. Buy it, Use it
I've purchased two of these.

I'm a small contractor who does many non-structural remodeling jobs. I've been in construction for 15 years and have used many tools and many extension cords.

Since 12 guage cords are commonly available that is primarily what I've used in the past. My experience has been that most of my higher power tools do not run as well on them (even 25 foot cords) as they do when plugged directly into the wall. With the 10 guage cord I can no longer tell the difference.

My 15 amp chop saw, my worm drive saw and my 8 1/2 inch sliding miter saw all run perfectly with the 50 foot extension. I am even able to run my 1 1/2 horsepower Emglo compressor through a 25 foot length. I was never able to do this before -- the compressor was very fussy and I had never been able to use any kind of extension cord with it until I moved to 10 guage. ... Read more

Great Heavy Duty Cord
This cord is a must for heavy duty, high amp, power tool users. I bought this cord to go with my new PorterCable 15 amp saw because of its #12 gauge size. I wanted a cord that would ensure a proper power supply and low voltage drop to protect my tools from burnout. It certainly is handy and rugged to boot. The bright yellow exterior stands up to rough use and is easy to see on jobsites. I like the lighted plug end; it lets you know when the wire is hot and can be seen in the dark. Thanks, Amazon !

Things to think about before you buy:
Make sure your cigarette lighter socket has enough clearance around it to accomodate this large of an adapter.You may need one with a cord with the plug on the end to fit in your vehicle.
Make sure your intended use won't overload this adapter. It's rated up to 75 watts continuous duty.

ICP 21Amp Controller for Solar Cell - Recommended
This item works well, and installs easily. Telephone support is supurb! I purchased this to supply a second bank of batteries off of a single 100 watt Plug & Play package that also included an identical item.
The controller has Light emitting diodes that allow you to monitor charge action and battery level. They work great.

On the down side, the supplied mounting bracket is plastic. It appears to be something that could easily break. The mounting holes were sized for a number 4 screw (kind of small!), but there was double sided foam tape also supplied. The input terminals could be heavier, and with longer screws to allow heavier wire. Placing more than one ring lug on the terminals, or a wire heavier than 10 guage (up to a 4 guage is sometimes recommended) can be difficult.

I suggest also downloading the instructions for their digital 20 amp controller as this contains information not found in the 21 amp controller manual. www.icpglobal.com
