Camper's delight!
This is a very fine flashlight. It puts out a surprising amount of light for its size. The beam is adjustable from wide and diffuse to narrow and focused. You can also remove the lens and it becomes omnidirectional, perfect when you're in a tent. The holster keeps it within reach at all times, instead of feeling around on the ground in the dark for it. I use it a lot more than my larger maglight for just this reason. The batteries last a lot longer than in other brands of small flashlights, and you get considerably more light as well. Tough to beat an Estwing!
I own a 16 oz claw and a 20 oz rip Estwing. Both hammers are roughly 20 years old and still going strong. Estwing's leather grip is excellent and the one-piece construction helps minimize bounce and shock. The hammers have good heft AND balance in the hand and as a "lefty", I find that they swing well with little or no arm/hand fatigue at the end of the day. Favorite tool, almost
End cuting pliers are one of the most useful tools on the planet.Someone needs to give them a better name, something a little sexier.I use mine mostly for pulling nails - they're the only way to go.

The Persuader
This is an excellent tool.

I have two sizes, but use the 8" most often. It works well to pull nails, cut wires, nibble metal, and bend, break, cut, or remove all manner of materials.

The nipper gets into tight spots to pull nails when a hammer or pry bar won't fit.

I used this tool last night. I was removing an old fireplace for a basement remodelling project. I used it to pull nails from the wooden framing. Then I cut the thick wire in the reinforced fabric ducting connected to the blower assemblies. I used it to cut the 12 gauge Romex to the blower (diag cutters or lineman's pliers may be the purist' choice-but I had this tool in hand...)Finally, I used it to bend sharp, nasty sheet metal edges into less dangerous shapes/positions when I was ready to carry the firebox outside.

I have also used it in the past to grab rounded screw heads and extract them.

Don't Buy Other Manufacturers' Hex Shank Chucks
I have used the Makita and Stanley, and they are junk compared to the DeWalt. The BIG difference is that the collar on the DeWalt is spring-loaded so that you just push the bits in and they lock in. All the other brands that I have seen, you have to pull back the collar manually (a 2-handed operation) to insert the bit. The device is sturdy and a time-saver over other brands of similar function.
