Features of this grinder
The Milwaukee 4 1/2" "Magnum" grinder model#6148 may just be one of the best hand grinders for the money available in the USA. This unit is rated at 8.5 amps and 1.6HP, that translates into some unusual power. I am a welder, I use a hand-held grinder quite a bit. I need a unit that will take stock down fast and smooth jagged cuts and welds with speed and flexablity. This unit fit the bill well and the price is fantastic. Only one other manufacturer makes a comparable unit but the price is a bit higher and the amperage rated a bit lower (but it's yellow!).
