4-0 out of 5 stars Electronic water timers
The Gilmour 9100 model is simple and reliable. I have used other timers with liquid crystal readouts from Gilmour and others and find that the displays generally die or partially die after about one year. The 9100 however seems to remain dry and working for much longer, (2 years and counting). I understand that it has only 1 cycle per day but for my needs this has proven adequate.

4-0 out of 5 stars Simple and reliable
My comments will mirror most of those already on here. I'd had horrible luck in a previous year with a Nelson brand timer - four C batteries would last barely two weeks, and worse, would fail with the valve open! Last year I bought one of these Gilmour timers, and it's like night and day. I'm still on the original batteries, it's reliable, and once you get the hang of it, easy to program. While the programming interface is very simplistic, it might not be for everyone (_because_ it's so simplistic, it could be confusing). There's a fairly significant water hammer when it shuts off, and I worry a bit about these old pipes, but they're due for replacement soon anyway, so I won't worry too much. At any rate, I like this timer so much after a year on a couple of flower beds that I'm buying two more today to work the lawn too.

5-0 out of 5 stars Still going after 2 years
I then got the Gilmour 9100 and have been surprised at how robust and reliable it has been since day one. Once you get the hang of it, programming is fast and, although only through beeps, actually very informative as to the schedule. You can turn it on temporarily without sacrificing the program and even have a timed session right then and there. I've also been amazed at this unit working everyday through pouring rain and baking sun for almost two years yet still using only its original batteries. I highly recommend it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Watch out for the "Water Hammer"
Used this product last summer. It is easy to operate and works as advertised. However, the rubber diaphragm, which controls the water flow goes from totally closed to totally open in an instant, which creates, at least in my plumbing, a banging water hammer effect on my basement pipes.

I'm going back to the Melnor product this year. It's turning mechancal valve allows for a gradual transition from on to off
which eliminated the pounding on the pipes.

I have used it two summers and it does the job. i have used other models by other companys and most of them have developed leaks sooner or later..So far so good with this one. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Model in picture is 1755N
Wilton vises are certainly 5-stars, but the vise shown in the picture, and, we can guess, the one you will get if you order this, has a stationary base, and is apparently the model 1755N ("N" as in, "does not swivel"). If you are comparing prices, make sure you are comparing models with the same features. If you prefer the swivel base, and Wilton makes a good one, the model 1745 (just slightly smaller), sells for about the same price as is shown here. The price here is not a bad price for the 1755N, but if you are expecting to get the 1755, this is not it (note that the picture shows no subbase, and not locking clamp). You may not need or care for a swivel base, just be aware that the 1755 has one, and this, as shown and as described, does not. Currently the 1745 (has a swivel base) is listed above, under other items people who shopped for this item looked at; check it out. A swivel may be better than moving your whole bench to get a long piece into the vise.

5-0 out of 5 stars big, solid, nicely machined
After shopping exhaustively for a Wilton bench vise I happened across this one in an internet search, and was surprised to learn it was for sale at Amazon.

It weighs 50 lbs, a major shipping weight, but shipping was free.

The jaws are held in place with hex screws, and can be reversed. The surface on one side has ridges for gripping; on the other side, the jaws are smoothly machined.

The vise has an unusually deep throat, which is helpful for sheet metal bending, and for aluminum sheet cutting operations. It is a big, big vise, but I find I can readily use it for fine work as well as for heavy stuff. ... Read more

Originally invented and marketed in Germany, the Garden Weasel is still an amazing garden tool, even after 15 years of "As Seen on TV" advertising here in the States. Its self-cleaning rotary cutters run crosswise against each other, meeting about 1-1/2 inches below the ground to break the surface soil and creating a fine till with their scissorlike action. Use this tool to break up soil in large areas or wide rows or to scarify soil for seeding. If you remove a few of the blades, you can work on exceptionally narrow rows or around plants. By using the short handle (included), you can work in greenhouses or rock gardens. Clearly, there are many uses for this tool--it's hard to imagine, but after all these years, it's still one of the best cultivators on the market. Ingenious design, versatile applications, and solid construction have kept this tool at the top for decades. --Ariel Meadow Stallings ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

This DeWalt circular saw is a rugged tool designed with professional carpenters' needs in mind. It has a 15 amp motor that produces a whopping 2,075 watts, which is equivalent to about 2-3/4 horsepower. In less scientific terms those numbers mean this saw can slice through lumber like a tornado through a trailer park. If that's a little too fast for you, it also comes with an electric brake for quick stops. The generous 5-1/2-inch base pivots for depth of cut and bevels on a ball-joint mechanism that offers smoother, faster adjustments than the simple hinge arrangement typically found on other saws. It has a bevel capacity of 0 to 50 degrees, and--like the depth-of-cut gauge--the bevel gauge can be easily recalibrated if the saw takes a tumble on the job. Depth-of-cut adjustments are made by unscrewing the front handle a bit, adjusting to the desired depth, and screwing it back down tight. This operation is so smooth it can be done without even changing your grip on the saw, reducing downtime between cuts. The saw's construction is solid throughout and it should be capable of living a long life on even the toughest job sites. Blade changes are quick thanks in part to the easy-to-reach shaft lock button; however, onboard storage of the blade-changing wrench would be an improvement. This is a great tool for serious professionals in need of serious cutting power. At 12.3 pounds, it isn't the lightest model available, but big power doesn't come in small packages, and 7-1/4 inch sidewinder circular saws don't get any burlier than this. --Brian Trinen ... 3-0 out of 5 stars It's not a Super Sawcat, but it's decent.
If you've ever used a B&D Super Sawcat-either 7 1/4" or 8 1/4"-you'll understand my point of view. The Sawcat is the saw to which I judge all others. The first and most obvious comparison is the DeWalt's electric brake-the blade still turns after the saw is shut down. When you shut down a Sawcat the blade stops, and I mean now. The next item is the shoe plate. The DeWalt is wide enough, but if you look at a Sawcat's shoe plate you notice B&D turned up the edges just a skosh so when you run it down a straight edge it won't hang up in that invariable gap between the straight edge and the item you're cutting. No turned up edge on the DeWalt. In addition on the DeWalt's shoe plate where there are the marks indicating the blade path at 45 and and 0 degrees there is a bit of residual casting that makes the 0 degree line indistinct. I suppose a slight high speed modification with a file will cure the problem, but a Sawcat wouldn't require any file work. These, of course, are details, but, hey, that's what carpentry is all about. On the plus side are all the items mentioned by other reviewers-good long cord, easy depth adjustment (although the indicator on the depth gauge sits far enough away from the gauge to make exact reading questionable), external brushes, good balance, and power. Whether or not the DeWalt can stand up to years of gaff like a Sawcat, I can't say. In sum, the DeWalt is a decent saw for the price, but guys like me will keep looking for that stash of new old stock Sawcats.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Best DeWalt Circular Saw ever made!
While it being an impressive claim considering the quality of DeWalt portable tools, the DW364 is still a far cry from the Super Sawcat of the late to early 90's.

The DW364 was the first Dewalt (of the yellow variety) circular saw that featured an electric brake. It's strong shoe/base coupled with a strong knob/depth adjuster makes this as solid a saw out in the market. Blade changing is practical with the blade lock feature. Easy motor brush access, makes this saw very easy to self-service.

Good saw that has only proven itself

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent saw, but not perfect
In 1998 I was buying a few of the last high-end items needed to start my own roofing company when I bought this saw. After dealing on several other tools, I asked the salesman (a retired general contractor) what was the best circular saw in the store. Without pause, he grabbed this DeWalt. I have other saws available, but this is practically the only saw that I've used since June of '98. I'm a teacher so I only do carpentry in the summers, but still this saw has been subject to a lot of use and more than a little abuse. It still works perfectly. It's an incredibly powerful and durable saw. If you use good quality blades, I don't believe that the wood exists that it can't cut through with ease.

If there were three things that I'd do to improve it, it would be these:
1. make it lighter
2. left-side cutting blade instead of right-side
3. laser-light guide for cutting

I know that the first two are already available on newer models, but I've yet to use them. If everything else is the same, those saws should be darn close to perfect. My next circular saw will be a DeWalt, but it might be several years until I need one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent saw!
Nothing but good experience with this saw. Great power, good ergonomics, and totally reliable. The shoe is sturdy, perfectly aligned, and promotes smooth cutting when used with a straightedge. The front-mounted depth adjust knob is far more convenient and more sturdy than the usual rear-mounted depth adjust nut. The blade brake works exceptionally well.

Highly recommended!

5-0 out of 5 stars Has It All!
Owned this saw for over 10 years. Has really good power, even when the cut is off and the blade gets twisted a bit. Depth gauge and trapeze blade drop are great features--the later moves the blade up/down while maintaining the saw grip at the same angle. Most others rotate the grip up as the depth decreases. Forward grip handle twist locks the depth, easy to use and secures tightly. Good line-of-sight for the cut-line, never a problem! Great buy for the $'s. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Hardiblade is an excellant product
I used a Hardiblade in my Radial Arm saw and another in my circular saw while installing Hardiplank siding on my daughters house. The cuts were straight and clean. This was the first time I have installed cement siding and I was a little apprehensive about cutting and nailing the siding. The blades cut much easier and with much less chipout and dust than the carbide blade I tried at first.

I would reccommend this blade for any cutting of cement siding.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Blade
The Hitachi PCD blade surpassed all my expectations. It made crisp, clean cuts that were indistinguishable from the factory edges. The cost of the blade was insignificant compared to the time and money it saved me from changing carbide-tipped blades. ... Read more

Bags like Bucket Boss's GateMouth are becoming more and more popular with contractors these days. They're much lighter than conventional toolboxes and, with advances in material technology, they hold up to rigorous on-the-job use. For the Pro Super GateMouth model, Bucket Boss uses its Boss Tex ballistic fabric--tightly woven and extra thick, this stuff holds up to continuous abuse from sharp edges and points. The Pro Super GateMouth has 39 exterior pockets and 10 interior, and comes with adjustable outside straps for quick access to a level or long-handle tool. It also has a beefy shoulder strap; a reinforced, super-wide opening; reinforced handles; and an identification window, so you don't mistake yours for your buddy's. Very portable and very flexible, the GateMouth is worth considering if you're in the market for a new tool "box." --Jonathon Tudor ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Bag, Great Price
I just bought this bag for my husband who is always out working on cars or doing some kind of mechanical/electrical/plumbing favors for friends and family. Up until now, he puts all the equipment and tools he needs for each job in plastic Giant grocery bags to carry from one place to the other.

I saw this bag and thought it would be great for him to use instead of those grocery bags.

This bag has a place for his level, a loop to hold the electrical tape he is always misplacing, a place for a small flashlight, his tape measurer can just slide on to the front and there are so many pockets for tools and enough room to basically hold anything he needs to take with him.

For what he does and the tools he takes with him, it's the perfect size - not too big and not too small. And it's got to be more comfortable carrying than those grocery bags that eventually tear on him or get holes in them.

Also, it's a really nice looking bag. Very professional yet still rugged looking.

My husband really liked the look of the bag and thinks he will be able to put it to alot of use.

The only thing that would be nice for this bag are little plastic feet on the bottom. That way you don't have to worry about putting the bag on the floor and getting it wet or dirty...

All in all, this is a great looking and very usable bag.

My husband and I were both impressed when we received it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Nice
After having most of my frequently used tools lost around the house, I finally have an excellent (and big) bag to keep them and transport them in. When it is open, the top is wide and flat like a box so you can see everything. Lots of pockets. The material is tough and flexible and will last me forever.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Best I Have Found, But Still Not The Best
I bought this bag to consolidate some of the 4-5 toolboxes I have been using (including one of their smaller models).

I purchased this based on the performance of the smaller bag that I have and it has preformed amazingly well (Three years of weekend use carrying way more than it was supposed to, without a rip or other problem.)

I got this bag and was really excited to try it out. I started stuffing things in the pockets and quickly found out that I had to be careful what I put where. I put a small pen light in one pocket and it made it impossible to put anything in three other pockets (including one on the inside.)

Even so this thing can hold quite a bit. Right now it has almost all of my carpentry tools, a set of electric tools, a few plumbing tools and various assorted other things. It basically swallowed two toolboxes I was already using.

I wouldn't recommend this for the mechanic as it does not seem like it would do well with wrenches and sockets, but for the handyman or carpenter it cannot be beat.

The size is great, you'll always have room in the bag to dig for tools, because it you fill it you won't be able to carry it. Mine is pushing 40 pounds of tools and I have plenty of room left.

I would have given this 5 stars if they had spent a little more time designing the pockets instead of trying to say they have so many.

Still if you are looking to buy this, buy it already, you won't be disappointed.

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice & Big
I just traded in my old reliable canvas bag for this one. It was hard to do (I love the canvas) but the extra interior space saves me a lot of trips to the truck. My only complaint is that some of the exterior pockets are pretty small. Many of them are too "tight" to use for much. All in all, a really good bag with lots of room.

5-0 out of 5 stars Better than Metal!
I've retired most of my steel toolboxes in favor of a number of these units. They're rugged, never rust, are far better organized than most steel boxes and cheap enough to devote different bags to different tasks.

I've got a plumbing bag, a bicycle repair bag, an electrical/telephone/data wiring bag, a bag with my impact drill and associated bits, a boat rigging anbd repair bag, an emergency car tool/jumper cable bag and probably one or two I'm forgetting. A superb product with no flaws I can think of. ... Read more

There’s a lot to like here. Super padding won’t cut into your shoulders and the X design distributes your gear’s weight evenly, taking the strain off your back. Everything about it is quality, from the fabric to the heavy-duty hardware and the tough straps. We like that left-handers can arrange the bags to suit them, and best of all, we didn’t get gored in the gut by protruding tools when bending over, thanks to side-hanging bags. Now, those side-hanging bags bumps the hammer ring to the back, and we do think the rear-hanging hammer would take some getting used to, but the side bags are worth it. We’d sure like to see Bucket Boss build a cell-phone compartment into the design, but aside from that, there’s nothing we’d change. If you’ve been clipping suspenders to a standard tool belt, stop and try this on for size. We’re sold on it.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars good but not great
I have been in the trades for over 40 years, and used many tool belts. This belt is more for Western framers than Eastern, the whole debate, worm drive vs, sidewinder saws etc. If you are not used to a rear hammer holder, you will find it hard to get used to. The bags hang on your side, and not the front. These are the things I like because it makes it easy to bend over and not get pinched in the gut, by quick squares, tapes, racks of 16 sinkers, etc. This is a great belt to see if you like the side bag system, shoulder harness, rear hammer, only $40. Good bags cost $100 to $200 for any type, so not much lost is you don't like. The reason for the 3 stars, the hammer holder broke the first week, and the x brace across the back moves during the day which pulls the bags around to the rear. I reposition everthing at lunch and start again, it's a pain.

4-0 out of 5 stars a toolbox on suspenders
I've been in the construction field for four years, and have not found a more comfortable belt yet. I'm rather thin, and in the winter I tend to wear many layers. Despite the many layers, it fits perfectly no matter what I am wearing. Unlike many other toolbelts, this one can hold all of the different types of tools that a carpenter needs. In the past, I have used the normal setup with all the individual pouches and just threw on a pair of suspenders to hold them up. After a long hard day of work, my shoulders are tired from the weight. Also, you know as well as I do, that when you try to fit into tight spaces, you could catch one of those clips, and they could wind shooting off and hitting you in the face. This does not happen with the air lift system whereever you go, the belt just follows. Overall, if you're out there all day, and are looking for a comfortable belt that doesn't strain your shoulders, the air lift system is definitely for you

2-0 out of 5 stars Stiff as a dead mackerel, tough for a builder to get used to
As a builder, dont expect to use this thing right out of the box as mine came squished flat as a pancake and i couldnt fit all my tools in it and still reach them because the pockets were closed from being flattened: this doesnt help when you are up on a 30' ladder. I guess you could fill all the pockets with something and hang it for a bit before commissioning it for work. I have had it a week, still stiff as a dead fish and wont break in- but im expecting it to anyday now. I also think the hammer in the back stinks as i am used to a traditional tool belt with the hip hammer loop and this thing has none. Would be a good belt for someone just starting out as you can get used to all its little annoyances from the get-go, as a full time carpenter forget throwing your old belt away for this one. I used this belt for an hour and put my old one back on. The material is pretty rugged and its seems to be constructed well- the shoulder straps are also really comfortable. My overall opinion is: bad belt layout and i want my hammer on the hip which you cant have with this belt.

3-0 out of 5 stars almost right
Let me first start off with that first I am a professional builder, and have at times a need to carry a full assortment of hand tools on the job where a tool bag or cart simply will not do. The option of hauling two full tool bags on my waist all day long becomes a bit uncomfortable. I saw an item like this in the store for $20.00 more that I tried on and like it. I got this one but did not like it because it had too many straps which made it hard to get on and off. I also thought that the number and placement of the straps made it easier to get snagged on things. The one that I saw in the store had a "Y" strap where this one has and "X" strap to support the tools, the "Y" strap was a little less padded which made it less bulky and the straps where little more sturdy which made them keep their shape beter and easier to get on and off quickly. I liked the one in the store better also because the tool bags hanged better and the clips that hold them where smaller in size but strong and less in the way. Even though it cost more in the store it was a better buy for me considering these small but important features to me.

2-0 out of 5 stars good idea
This tool belt is a good idea and feels great...here's the lowdown. In the field the loops on the back of the pouches for the horizontal belt are weak. They broke within two weeks. Bucket Boss makes great products and I hope that they would upgrade this unit as soon as possible. I wish that I would have bought mine here, alas I did not and am now stuck with it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Already have compressor? Get one of these!
Works extremely well, has all the features/adjustments of regular HVLP sprayers, works even with my little 2HP 6 Gal PorterCable pancake compressor that came with my air nailer. Granted the compressor does run more often than when your just nailing things, but I haven't had a problem as I build some furniture projects. I imagine painting a room or large objects would be better suited to turbine units that can supply a continuous airflow. But it beats spending hundreds more for a turbine unit that would just take up more space in my shop. If you have a compressor and want to try spraying finishes this is an economical way to start. 3-0 out of 5 stars Maby-
I bought this kit about 3 weeks ago. Do not buy the cordless circular saw. I could only cut a pice of plywood about 20x30 inches on one charge. The drill has only 1 drawback- the cruck is strange and when you try to grab it to tighten down, it slips out of your hand. Flashlight is increadibly bright. The sawzall is nice, but my Craftsman sawzall can out perform it. This kit might be nice for a home owner, but for saws, go corded.

Hope this Helped-

4-0 out of 5 stars saw is worthless, but everything else is great!
I bought this set just before xmas. It took a few charge cycles before the batteries held their full charge. The saw is worthless compared to anyother cordless saw, but the drill and recpricating saw are a great addition to anyones tool collection. There needs to be an ability to purchase new batteries though. Ive searched the web and not been able to find anyone who offers them.

Tools look great and do a great job as long as the battery last but I'm not sure if these tools will satisfy someone whom will use them heavely. The circular saw claims 70 2x4s per charge, I've only used it on 2x6s and the batt only lasted for 5 of them. The sawsall eats them even faster. The flashlight is also only half as brite as my DeWalt 12v.I'm hopeful that after a few cycles the batt will increase there run time. Have not used drill enough to rule on.I might change my mind in future but right now I can neither recommend for or against buying. Tried again, batts did not last as long as the first time!

5-0 out of 5 stars Skil Combo Tool Pack
This package sure got a lot of oohs and aahs when it showed up at GadgetGuys.com. Like the drill with the built in light, and built in stud finder. Love the soft sided case. The hard sided cases are cumbersone to carry and store. Like the energy indicator on batteries--hate starting a job when I'm up on a ladder and the darn battery dies. I'm not sure if I should buy this set - The drill is a little under-powered (300in/lbs torque)for an 18v model. Most 18's put out around 400in/lbs. Does anyone know the circ. saw arbor diameter? It is extremely hard to find tech. info. on this set. Even the official Skil website has nothing on it. I finally hunted down a picture of this set (at Lowes website) and was disappointed to see that the circ. saw has a right side blade. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This vise grips!
I just installed my Jorgensen woodworking vise. It is a very heavy vise, I mean it has heft to it. I had been using a made in China cheapie and there is quite a bit of difference in the way it adjusts and how it grips your product for work. I find the quick release quite easy to use, a simply twist and pull (or push) and big adjustments are a breeze. When you place wood and tighten, my goodness, this vise has a real, real good hold on it. I am impressed and I recommend.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great!
This is the best wood working vise that I have ever used, and I use it a LOT. It did not come with wooden jaws, but adding them was no problem as the jaw plates are predrilled. It is large enough to hold anything that a furniture-maker or hobbyist would need, and the slip screw makes working with it a breeze. I wish that I had owned this 20 years ago!

1-0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware - Quality Is Poor
I was very disappointed when I opened up the box and inspected the vise. The castings were of poor quality, the front jaw was displaced about 3/16" to the left of the rear jaw when closed, and when viewed form the top the jaws were not parallel when closed (1/16" off). In addition, the quick open/close feature did not work well. When you consider the high cost (money) of this vise, it is just unacceptable. I have since returned it to Amazon.com for a refund.

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't make the mistake of buying this vise.
When I first took it out of the box, I had to double-check that I was shipped the right vise. The casting of both halves was so mismatched, I thought it was a cheap knock-off. There was so much polyurethane on the wooden dowel handle that I couldn't fit the caps on without splitting them - I had to sand the finish off first.

The quick-release feature was fun the first couple of times I used it, but it quickly became a pain. A half turn back releases the outer jaw so it can be pulled out or pushed in. But it doesn't slide very easily and the half turn doesn't fully release the work. And, of course, continuing to turn out doesn't do anything because the gear mechanism has released. I eventually "fixed" it by drilling and tapping a threaded hole into the quick-release gear from the front while the gear is engaged. A screw in this hole will jam up against the inner jaw and prevent the quick-release gear from doing its job.

5-0 out of 5 stars Jorgensen vise review
I recently purchased this vise from Amazon and installed it on my woodworking bench. The machining is excellent, the fit and finish are great and the smooth jaws don't mar the wood it clamps.

I really like the quick-release feature and have found it invaluable for quickly adjusting the vise to the work at hand.

Installation was quick and easy and the vise included a template for drilling mounting holes. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good for the money
I purchased this because my wife couldn't handle the larger gas trimmer I have. It does a great job on "LIGHT" weeds and grass. If you looking to cut heavy weeds or brush save your money. It does an excellent job on what it's designed for. The trigger design isn't the best and could be improved. I also purchased another battery because it only runs strong for about 20 minutes. It's quite, light, inexpensive and pretty easy to use. Just make sure that you're going to trim grass or light weeds. For that it's a good buy. I have yet to receive the extra line spools I ordered from Amazon. If I can't get replacement line spools then this product would be worthless.

3-0 out of 5 stars Inoperative charger
The American Gardener YS18-18 was ordered on 06-09-04 and arrived on 06-11-04. The battery charger will not work..I called American Gadner and they refered me to Utility Electric Service in Conn. They assured me they had the charger in stock and would get it out to me..Its now 06-28-04 and no charger, I called both American Gardner and Then back to Utility Electric Service, I was told the chargers were on order and I would get mine when they arrived. So far no Charger..Tiffany at American Gardner said thats all she could do. I asked for a replacement to be sent to me from American Gardner and she said they coulod not do that...So much for a 2 year guarantee. Wayhollis@aol.com

5-0 out of 5 stars I Rely on the advice of Amazon buyers
After a lot of research for a cordless line trimmer I found previous critiques by people who purchased this item to be extremely helpful and more reliable than any other source. My trimmer arrived yesterday. It was easy to assemble, charge the battery and my yard was perfectly trimmed within the hour. It is an ideal tool for a woman who does not want the bother of a gas operated trimmer or the inconvenience of an electric cord. I am 71 years old and anticipate using this trimmer for many years to come. I thank other consumers for sharing their comments which are most helpful to others!

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent for home use
If all you need is a trimmer for the average suburban yard, this will do great! I did my whole yard in about 15 minutes and it had plenty of charge left. My neighbor was amazed at how well it worked and he spent over $200 for a gas trimmer. Less noise, no gas and oil to mess with, what could be better. I am getting the hedge trimmer next!

2-0 out of 5 stars Very disappointed in product.
I was very disappointed with this item. It is very difficult to hold down the safety button and trigger at the same time. My hand gets tired after about 5 minutes. It does not trim as closely to mailbox, flower boxes, etc. as I would like.

The only thing that I do like about the item is the battery. It only takes an hour to charge. It does seem like it loses power after about 20 minutes. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Close quarters
I resently went into business for myself installing cabinets.I have struggled for months with other drill / drivers to drill holes or drive screws in small or tight cabinets. THIS IS THE PERFECT TOOL FOR BOTH. Also great for removing cabinet door from there hinges. Buy one for yourself, or two. Give one to your helper for Christmas, or his/her birthday. My female partner loves it. She say's "Very easy to handle, but hold on, it has power."

5-0 out of 5 stars Milwaukee Close-Quarter Drill, 3/8", Reversible, Var. Speed
This is a super drill design which is a copy of the original SIOUX close quarter drill used in airplane factories. Improvements in the Milwaukee model are (1)variable speed, (2)instant reversing, (3)lighter weight, and (4)isolated from electric shock. It is so perfectly balanced and quiet, it is a joy to use. ...
