5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding in noise reduction and more
Put these on and turn on your shop vac and you will be amazed how much noise reduction these earmuffs provides. In addition, the ear pieces are very soft and extremely comfortable. Wear them to be near any machinery or mowing your lawn and your ears will thank you.

5-0 out of 5 stars WHAT? I can't hear you! Oh, yeah, I can't hear ANYTHING!
The Peltor H10A Hearing Protector ear muffs really do the job! I ordered them to help eliminate the annoying whine of my computer tower. You know the kind of sound...very slight, but so high-pitched it goes straight to your ear drums and drills a hole til you can't STAND it anymore!! Why am I SHOUTING!? Well, you can see how I had to do something to preserve my sanity.

I received the Peltor set and man, oh man, does it eliminate sound!! What pc whine? What pc! This headset completely elimates those little sounds that drive you crazy. I recommend it for those who have noisy neighbors or roommates, barking dogs, drippy faucets, etc. It is amazing. Loud noises can still be heard, so the headset does not interfere with normal life and is not a safety hazard. They are comfortable on the ears, are fairly lightweight, and fit very(!) snugly.

If you can't concentrate due to small, annoying noises, you would probably benefit from using this headset. The price is very reasonable, considering the benefits.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Hearing Protection
These earmuffs are extremely comfortable. They are fully adjustable and I even can wear them over a baseball cap. You won't believe how quiet it is with these on. My air compressor is the loudest in my shop. With these on it is only a whisper.

I order the best because I wanted to want to use them. I am very satisfied. ... Read more

For one of the lightest models on the market, the DeWalt full round head framing nailer sure packs some power. At just 7.6 pounds (thanks to its magnesium housing and magazine), the 51845 still delivers up to 900 inch/pounds of driving power. Its conservative 12-3/4-inch height lets you toe-nail where space is at a premium. DeWalt’s unique design buries nails even in engineered lumber with minimal recoil, putting less stress on your body. Ergonomics get another boost from the comfortable, curved trigger and shock-absorbing grip. Resetting your depth of drive is blessedly tool-free, fast and easy, and we also like the quick-release jam-clearing feature for its savings of time and frustration. Safety is a priority, with a dry-fire lockout that keeps the tool from firing when the magazine is empty, a trigger lock-off to disable the tool when not in use, and a steel exhaust deflector that protests the tool if it’s dropped. DeWalt even tucked a pair of safety glasses in the box. A reversible rafter hook will let you hang the tool from a rafter or keep it handy on your toolbelt.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Junk
I bought two of these nailers, the first one leaked air out of the trigger the first time I attached an air hose. I returned it and bought another. It worked great for about a week. Then it started to jam every other nail load. It started to leak air. I finally got so mad I threw it off the roof in to a dumpster. Piece of garbage, buy a Senco, or hitachi. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars So far so good.
I just received two of these guns for the finish carpentry crew.So far so good! I'm hoping that this gun last as long as the old Hitachi 16G design (6years).This is a well balanced and easy to shoot nail gun.It easily sinks 2 ½" through solid poplar case and base material. The driver leaves a very small hole in the wood, not much larger than the 18G Hitachi gun. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Super tool, reliable, and does a fine job
I bought the BN125A at the same time that I bought the 16 gauge. At the time I saw the price on the 18 and figured, it was a good idea to have both. At a later date, I discovered the BN200A, and that was an 18 gauge brad nailer as well, and accepted the 3/4" to 2" size nails. The BN125A accepts 5/8" to 1 1/4". For only a few dollars more, I thought I should have gotten the 200A. After all, when was I going to need a 5/8" size brad instead of a 3/4" one. Then I read a great book on cabinet making, and the author stated that he saves a lot of time, and doesn't need a million clamps, by putting a 5/8" brad in the back side of the raised panel joint between the rail and stile, then frees up his clamps for the next one. The glue sets up without movement because of the twin 5/8" brad holding them together. Most raised panels are made from 3/4" stock, so a 3/4" brad would show on the face. The brad goes in with a little countersink, so it is too large for that purpose. I guess it is a good example of, instead of saying yeah this, and boo that, say, "I like them both" Now I am starting to wonder when I will ever need an 18 gauge brad that is 2" long. Sure enough I will come across a need at some point. Maybe when I can, I will pick up one of those too.
The tool is lightweight, feels good in your hands, and is well built. Definitely does what it is supposed to do, and does it well.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Tool
Once again a PC tool that works as advertised. Easy to use right out of the box. I was using it in seconds. I would have
given it five(5) stars except the Instruction Manual has some misprints. You wont need it anyway. Be sure to call them to get the "free" bottom fire trigger. I'm not sure why they dont include it in the first place. (maybe some legal/safety reasons?)

5-0 out of 5 stars me and my buddy BRAD
i borrowed "brad" from a friend when i lived in florida. he had him in the plastic box and never took him out. he said that 'brad' was probably too small to be effective. he got it with a pancake compressor kit. after 10 minutes, i was in love! when my wife saw 'brad' she was also in love with him! i made picture frames, fixed some dressers that were coming apart. used it to hold things that i was gluing. put molding around windows, doors. installed some door casings. fixed neighbors things. i practically used it daily. i went through 5000 fastners quickly. my neighbor saw what 'brad' could do, and now he was jealous. i moved to tennessee, and he let me take 'brad' with me. 2 weeks later, he drove all the way from florida just to take 'brad' back with him. my wife and i were heartbroken. brad was practically part of the family now!

i was browsing...a couple days ago, and who was there in the air tool isle but 'brad's' twin brother. we went home together. i recommend this highly. 'brad' doesn't take much air, so even the cheap are plenty, but check the prices carefully on the compressors, and buy a porter cable.

5-0 out of 5 stars good price great performance
i just recently got into word working and this was my first new

but packs a good punch.the iar exhaust port is adjustable so you can keep it out of your face.i really like the adjustable counter

Amazon.com Review

Imagine combining the power of a pneumatic brad nailer with the convenience of a battery-powered unit. The Porter-Cable BN200V12 cordless 18-gauge brad nailer kit offers just that kind of choice. Connect it to an external air compressor, and you have a powerful pneumatic nailer. Or attach the 12-volt battery and let the onboard compressor do the job. Either way, you'll get a reliable brad nailer capable of firing standard 3/4- to 2-inch, 18-gauge brad nails into virtually any wood surface cleanly and accurately. Versatility like this is obviously a huge boon to remodelers who'd like to get in and out of a job without having to haul out a compressor and dirty hoses. (As you would expect, the onboard compressor makes this nailer heavier and somewhat less maneuverable than standard models.) Tool-free depth adjustments are quick and precise. A quick-release nosepiece allows for fast jam clearing, and a removable rubber nose cushion prevents marring on finished surfaces. Built-in auto shutoff, automatic pressure release, and self-diagnostic features provide added convenience. --Carl Thress ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Tool
I bought the DeWalt chop saw stand and the nailer in the same order. I cut all (ALL) of the trim for my new windows in about 20 minutes and installed it with the nailer in about an hour. No kidding. No more hammer and nail set for me. I also bought 2 batteries. In hindsight, one would have done it for me. By the time the battery runs down, I need a break anyway. The only thing I can add is - get a couple of those rubber things for the end where the nail exits. It's for not marring the finish. I have found that they tend to disappear (fall off).

I agree with the previous poster. If this thig was ever stolen - I'd HAVE to buy another. It's heavy, but a compressor is heavier. I have used the Pasload too. This is much cheaper and works just as well without the need for gas cartridges.

5-0 out of 5 stars Porter Cable BN200V12 Cordless Brad Nailer
Great tool for remodeling and light commercial work. Convenient to work with due to lack of hose and no need to drag compressor out of truck! If I was trimming out a whole house, I would use my regular trim nailer, but for small jobs or furniture building with biscuits, it fills the bill. Usual high quality P-C construction and it seems to drive about 4-5 sticks of nails per charge, but I did buy a second battery so as to have a fresh one ready to go. Now if only they made a similar framing nailer...

5-0 out of 5 stars Deserves an award for design!
This tool is made in Taiwan, as the other Porter cordless tools are, not in USA which is stated in the Amazon info.

This nailer fired right up & worked flawlessly, and feels lighter than it looks. It is balanced quite nicely, and if you are looking to not have to set up the ole compressor or drag a hose around this tool is great. I also bought the Porter 12V cordless drill instead of another battery, since the drill comes with 2 batteries (that's $110 in batteries included with the $139 drill!) so I now have an extra battery for either tool.

Nice product. Is a shame Porter can't make these in USA too. If Makita can do it why can't Porter & DeWalt?

5-0 out of 5 stars So convenient not having to worry about a huge compressor
This is probably one of the best things to become cordless since the drill. The innovation of the cordless drill makes it now almost unacceptable to have a corded model unless it's for powering through concrete or other hard material. The innovation of this cordless nailer means no electric cord, no stinky power cells, and best of all, no need to worry about a heavy compressor and pneumatic cords.

For me, this is super helpful for finish work on trim and molding around the house and building cabinets. Having to drag the compressor out of the storage closet was why I still used finish nails with regularity...but no more. I should have gotten this earlier along into my home renovations. Yes, it's a bit heavy but it's okay given that I have both battery and external compressor options. Yes, it can shoot only about 200-300 nails, but it's okay given that I don't come close to that amount and the charger is really quick. Most of my time is spent cutting or positioning wood to fit and I doubt I'd ever have everything cut and ready so all I do is nail all day. I've had this nailer for about a month and haven't had any problems at all.

I love this tool. Happy Father's Day to me!

5-0 out of 5 stars excellent, quality tool
Great portable air nailer. Strengths--quality, ease of use, reliable, well made. Weaknesses--none noted, may be a bit heavy on above head usage, some inconvenience when switching air on or off when using battery side. OTHER WISE...OVERALL EXCELLENT TOOL...ONE OF MY FAVORITES. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars SB-2IN1 GREAT TOOL
I have used this tool to build cabinets, my latest job a complete kitchen (made of hickory) using the hardest wood known to man, and it drives great using 120 PSI. The tool has not blown seals or given me any problems. The key to success is maintenance. There are always a few bad apples in the basket, this must be what these other folks are talking about. The only place that you see tool marks are in crown molding that fills very easy and invisible unless I point them out. Too bad there's not 6 stars that I can give.

4-0 out of 5 stars It works fine for me and saves space and money.
This tool does leave an indentation the size of a staple when you drive brads but I'm not that picky when I'm asking a tool to do double duty. If I was doing fine cabinetry and driving brads where they would be highly visible I would buy a brad nailer. I haven't had any problems and have loved using it. As for the other reviews about not going into pine I would say they should buy a real air compressor or at least turn up the pressure-it will go as deep as I want them to.

1-0 out of 5 stars SAVE YOUR MONEY!
I have used brad nailers in the past and have never had the problems that I have had with the Bostitch 2 in 1. I have used it 3 times since I have had it and have had nothing but headaches. I thought it was great because you are getting two tools for the price of one. Guess what, you get what you pay for. I can't even get this gun to sink a brad into pine, and if it does it usually leaves a mark. So bottom line, save yourself the aggravation that I am going through ...

1-0 out of 5 stars Not a woodworkers tool is right !!!
I strongly agree with reviewer,Jonathan Ness about this product. I purchased the Stanley SB2IN1 because it could shoot both brads and staples, giving me the versatility and saving me the cost of two tools. When I put the compressor at max pressure (100PSI) it wouldn't countersink nails or staples even in pine. If you could get it to countersink a brad, the footprint is the size of a staple. Leaving an ugly mark on your project that require additional finishing. I contacted Stanley Bostitch and they told me that they knew of this problem and to get it to countresink, increase the pressure to 120 PSI (however I think the seals will wear out much faster). This is fine for staples but still leaves the ugly mark when using brads. They also told me that this is the problem with a combination tool. If I could return this tool I would...I will use this tool for stapling only and purchase a Porter Cable Brad Nailer, also the brads are much easier to find for the Porter Cable than the Stanley Bostitch....

5-0 out of 5 stars hats off to stabila
how do you argue with a lifetime warranty. i assume the manufacturer if pretty confident. for good reason. this is a top notch level. i have 5 stabila's and this one gets the most use. easy to read vials, rubber feet for wall grip, and convenient hand holes.

my first had a vial lose its fluid. so i took it back and stabila gave me a new one. buy this one and you are set for life!

5-0 out of 5 stars the best for your money
After working with my father for years I got a healthy repect for quality tools. My father being very rough on tools would only buy the toughest. In the business of framing houses the toughest tends to be more expensive. As I,ve come into my own try I might too get a cheap tool thinking I got a deal only to realize with a few more bucks my broken tool wouldn't be; and the projects would have been that much easier to build. In short my father has been using this level since it was available and it has taken his abuse and mine.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Framing Level
I had never used a Stabila level prior to using this framing piece. With a lifetime guarantee on the vials, and an accuracy of within .029, I will never use another level. I have given away my other four foot level to a friend as I know that I will never use it again. Stabila has all of the nice little touches like the rubber pads that keep the level from slipping and good handholds. Buy it and be happy.

5-0 out of 5 stars FROM 4 FT TO TORPEDO. THE BEST
SIMPLY SAID, these are the best levels for our type of business. I have dropped all of mine and one time or another...no ill effects noted. i have two 4 footers (one magnetic) a 32" and 24" as well as the box torpedo. you will never second guess your leveling again if you purchase these. dont blow your money 15 to 20 dollars at a time. invest in these levels and they will pay you back 10 fold

5-0 out of 5 stars All in agreement say . . . I
Like the other reviewers, this is a fantastic level. How can a level be that much better? Simple, I compared this level against my previous " standard" Johnson levels. I did a simple test while hanging a series of shelving units, I used my Stabila 48, hung the unit.
